The region has had an outage which is now going on for Day 5. No eftpos and only those with cash able to make purchases. People without cash on hand are running low on groceries and petrol.
No reliable information to be had from Telstra and North Burnett Regional Council have no plan in place for such outages. Who helps in these situations?

I have a question about the medication Norethindrone. I have a vacation coming up on december 16 and my period is also due that day. My OBGYN perscribed me Norethindrone to delay my period like I asked. He prescribed me 0.35mg tablets that I was instructed to take everyday starting today (November 26) until the last day of my trip. However, all the sources I have looked at online show me that most people are taking a 5mg dosage three days before their period three times a day. I am nervous maybe he misunderstood me or tried to brush me off because im not sure if this will actaully delay my period or not due to the small dosage and that it is considered a birth control and most birth controls do not stop your period
He is currently not in office right now
Im not sure if i am just overthinking or if this is indeed not the correct dosage to get my period delayed.

2024.11.27 00:30 SovereignOne666 I don't get why DOOM 64 and PSX DOOM are seemingly so popular. I mean the games (and particularly their music) are just so bleak
I can enjoy like a few levels of these games, but after that, it feels a bit "overwhelming". It's like I'm on a journey into the darkest pits of my soul, or more specifically, on a journey to kill myself and that's just dark, man.
Does anyone else get uncomfortable playing DOOM 64 or PSX DOOM for an extended period of time? I feel like the music of Aubrey Hodges is creepier and more depressing than the music of Trent Reznor, or at the least his Quake soundtrack. Definitely not a fan of Hodges' contribution to DOOM for the PS1 and DOOM 64, but I give him kuddos for creating such dark soundtracks.

I’ve been a long-time lurker here and am now seeking advice on my current credit situation. I’m in my 20s, still attending university, and have managed to achieve a 820+ credit score, according to credit karma. I realize this is a good score and i wanted to also drop credits to everyone on this subreddit for advice which helped me a lot when i first moved to this country!
I’m uncertain about how to leverage this strong credit score at this stage in my life. Should I take any specific financial actions now, or is it more prudent to wait until after graduation to consider options like obtaining a mortgage?
I would greatly appreciate any insights or recommendations you can offer.

A Spotify statistic from 2019 shows that male-identifying users listened to 94% male artists and around 3% female artists, with the rest made up by mixed groups. Granted, there are instances where we get statistics from certain years showing how female listeners are apparently inclination to stream male artists slightly more than with female artists but it's nowhere close to being as disproportionate as the previous statistic.
Why do you think this happens to be the case?
