We have a 7 month old who is a terrible sleeper. My husband and I sleep in separate rooms so I can co sleep with baby. I had tearing and an episiotomy, and recovery was ROUGH, but I’m finally starting to feel better. My husband and I have good communication and we’ve talked about it. We both want to have sex in theory but are exhausted — we’ve had sex mayyybe 4 times since he was born. I don’t know what’s normal, but it feels like we should be doing it more.
On one hand, I’m terrified of not having a healthy sex life together and that physical distance eroding our marriage. On the other hand, I’m so freaking tired and just have no interest right now. I have to believe it gets better when the kid is older (but then, how do you have sex when a kid could walk in any minute?).
After baby, how long was it before your sex life returned to some semblance of normalcy? What did you do to get back into things? What “bedroom” advice do you have for new parents?

I’m getting out of my reserve time in the Army in a month and will finally be able to get my hands done, if I choose to. I have a pretty decent desk job for an architectural company and they don’t care about tattoos at all. But life always changes and you never know if you’ll have the same job in 3-5 years.
I know that the current feelings on tattoos in the work place have changed for the better in the last few years. Has anyone had a hard time getting office jobs with hand tattoos? I’d like to make sure that I’m not hindering my future by a bad choice now.

So yesterday, I went to a run that supported cancer patients and others. As I was looking around, I saw a crowd of people, and turns out they were waiting to shave and donate their hair. I have about waist length hair, so I got some looks when I walked off. Later, while I was walking with my running friends, a woman came up to me and my friends and tried to get us to shave our heads. We politely said no and thought that was the end of it, but later the same woman asked again. We declined but she kept pressing us to 'just chop it". It seemed that she was majority talking to me but I kinda ignored it. She then started talking to me about how I was " a fking monster" for not donating a foot or two. She got in a argument with my friend, and about half way through, she brought her friends. They were all saying I should just cut it. Then, one of the women called me a "trans cnt" and just was trying to be a dick. We then ran the half marathon and it was over. Now my mom's side is saying I should have just donated my hair. Anyways aita?

My doctor thinks i’m allergic to one of the antibiotics i’ve tried and we don’t know which of the 3 it could be. I’m still taking #1 and #3 because I didn’t get a reaction until i started taking #2, but the reaction keeps coming back even though i only took one dose and then stopped. Has anyone had a reaction days after stopping an antibiotic? I’m so nervous about the reaction getting worse but i can’t stop the antibiotics because of an infection so they just told me to keep taking benadryl and gave me an epi pen in case it gets bad

Since childhood i enjoyed being alone. But people always told me to socialize more and make me feel bad about my introvertness. And as I grew I started noticing these extroverts in my class who were popular, enjoying, making boyfriends, dominating every event. Even I wanted to do all those, but I was scared. So when I came to university, it was a new environment and new people, so I started pretending like an extrovert, i tried everything to make friendship with everyone. Started people pleasing, tried everything but I failed. I ended up depressed and lonely. I felt that I was happier when I was an introvert. Now because of trying really hard to socialize i became an ambivert. but when I see other introverts in my hostel I felt that they were very happy and comfortable in their introvertedness. There are like 5-10 introverts in my hostel who didn't mingle with anyone just one or two friends and they were soo happy and mentally stable and they loved being an introvert unlike me who hated that since childhood. I felt that when I was an introvert means when I was myself I was focused on studies, I knew who I am, I knew how to set boundaries, I did what I loved, I talked to only those who made me feel seen and loved and didn't give a fuck about others, i didn't hesitate to shut people up when they said something to me that i didn't like. I was soo much better when I was an introvert. Please all the introverts don't try to change yourself, don't let these people convinced you that you are not good enough, you are good enough, you are good the way you are ❤️
