Partner is 40, I’m 35. Been together for 10.5 years. We have raised his son (from previous marriage) full time for the last 7 years - he is now 14 in high school.
House is paid off (currently worth about 420k), have about 250k in the bank, 370k in retirement, 2 cars paid off.
Husbands income annual including stocks: 300k. Projected to save another 250k in the next year. Me: about 90k
And guess what! I am wanting to try to have a baby! The biological clock in me is finally sounding an alarm and I’m suddenly now wanting to have a baby after years of not feeling that pull. Partner was slow to get on board but is open to it. Is this absolutely going to ruin everything we’ve been working for? Are we taking steps backwards trying to have a kid when we are just about ready to send our 14 year old off to college soon?! Just give me your thoughts. Ughhh I’m so stressed you guys. 😵💫

So i’m predicted mostly 9s for my GCSEs, and that too HIGH 9s- but my Y11 mock results are coming back and i’m getting mid to high 8s with 3 or 4 9s along the way. I revised less for my Y10 mocks and we haven’t covered any content since then so I asked Year 12s and they said it’s normal for your grade to slip during mocks, and that it happened to most people. Is this normal or just a my school thing?

2024.11.27 06:42 darksoulzfan426 Audio isn't coming out of my headphones
I unplugged my headset from my PC and plugged it into my Xbox controller for a few hours, and when I plugged it back into the PC there was no audio. I have tried restarting, reinstalling drivers, switching headphones, and nothing works. When I go into the sound settings it shows that there's audio playing, but I can't hear anything. And it's not the headset because I swapped the headset with a different one and had the same exact issue. Im also not sure if I installed the drivers right. I really need help with this because I can't find any videos online that work.
