2024.11.27 10:00 shadetolerant My beloved cat Willow passed away, and I’m struggling with the emptiness she left behind. How do I cope with this grief?

Last night, I lost my sweet Willow. She wasn’t just a cat to me—she was my daughter, my habit, and my constant companion. She was so small, so pure, and full of love. A few weeks ago, she was perfectly fine, and now she’s gone, leaving a hole in my life that I don’t know how to fill.
In her last moments, I prayed for her pain to end, and while it feels like a small comfort that she is no longer suffering, I can’t shake the emptiness and sadness. I see her everywhere—on the chair she loved, in the routines we shared, and in the quiet moments when I feel her absence the most. I keep asking myself where she is now. Is she at peace? Does she know how much I love her?
I feel like I’ve lost a part of myself, and I don’t know how to move forward. I don’t feel like eating or doing anything. Willow was my world, and now that she’s gone, I’m struggling to make sense of it all.
For those of you who have experienced the loss of a pet, how did you cope? How do you deal with the silence and the emptiness they leave behind? I’d love to hear any advice or comforting thoughts you might have.

2024.11.27 10:00 lentilhas2 RYZEN 3600 with a Rtx 3070

So I bought a Rtx 3060 ti with 8gb I was able to play on my highest frames yet (200) but I would still have between 85 and 150 fps on Fortnite performance mode with some stutters. I don't know if it is from the Ryzen 3600 cpu with the Rtx 3060. I sold my GPU and I'm planning on buying the 3070. I'm not only playing that game, I also play days gone, COD, Palworld, monster hunter, state of decay and maybe sparking zero.
Should I buy the Ryzen 5600 and the rtx 3070 Or just the rtx, idk if it's too much power for the CPU. My monitor refresh rate is 165hz and the game would still feel a little clunky and I changed the rr to the 165. It would maybe be 500 all together so I'm just trying to see what's the best option (can't be asked to spend 500).
If you know of any type of GPU with the same poweprice it would be nice to know. I also know about 6700X but idk if it would be a good choice

I’ve hive free for almost a year, after the worst 18 months of my life. Chronic idiopathic urticaria turned my life upside down. Suddenly it vanished and my life went back to normal. From whole body hives that were excruciatingly itchy. Literally engulfing whole parts of my body. To nothing. Vanished.
Like many of you I’ve spent untold hours trying to figure out what triggered my condition. What I’m allergic to. To no avail.
Now I’ve recently traveled to Asia for work, I do this every year for 4.5 months. And three days after setting off I’m getting hives that started as pin pricks and are slowly spreading and getting larger covering both my arms.
Resisting the urge to itch them is impossible and I can feel them spreading over my back, groin and genitals. The work I do here involves me wearing lots of tight clothing and sweating heavily as I’m a mountain guide and powder guide in Japan. So if this outbreak doesn’t fuck off soon I might yeet myself into a volcanic vent on my next tour.
To make things worse I haven’t fetched any of my medications as I stopped taking them and as such stopped collecting them. Nightmare. So I’m stuck with OTC antihistamines.
Rant over.
Fuck this illness.

Why is it that some cotton bales can be picked up (Yellow wrapping) but not Black or Gray wrapping, and why would the harvester change wrapping colors in mid harvest. I'm confused, this is my 1st attempt at a cotton contract, using my own equipment: Lizard Colossus with the cotton tag wagon. But it will only pick up yellow wrapped bales, the others say "This bale is not supported" tried multiple wagons with the same results.

2024.11.27 10:00 Ace676 The goalie market and what it means for the Avs

Getting a new goalie has been a recurring topic this season for obvious reasons and I thought that I would make a post that could clear the picture of the market situation we face and maybe also show why no moves have been made. The goalie market is the worst it has been in a long while, there are a lot of teams out there playing with sub-par starters and only a handful of teams have a true elite netminder. So, let's get into it.

  1. Anaheim They have a veteran goalie in 31-year-old John Gibson and a rising star in Lukas Dostal. Dostal is still unproven but has looked good so far. Gibson used to be elite but it is unclear how much of his numbers are because of the team and how much they reflect his current abilities. Anaheim is extremely unlikely to move Dostal, but Gibson is among the most realistic goalie moves Avs could make. And that really sums up the situation for sure. We can't afford Gibson without Ducks retaining, we don't know if he can bounce back to his early career form and we would still likely have to pay through the nose to get it done.
  2. Boston Swayman was one of the only elite tenders in the league on paper but has had a horrible year so far. Korpisalo is mostly an overpaid back-up. Nothing for the Avs here.
  3. Buffalo Luukkonen is an above-average goalie with room to grow and is backed up by veteran Reimer. Buffalo won't move Luukkonen without some ridiculous offer. Again nothing for the Avs.
  4. Calgary Vladar is a decent-ish back-up and Wolf is the young star growing into the starter role. Similarly to Buffalo, nothing here for the Avs.
  5. Carolina A clusterfuck of a situation for them. Andersen is constantly injured and getting old, Kochetkov is promising though, which is why the Canes will keep him. Nothing for the Avs.
  6. Chicago Brossoit is a career back-up, but Mrazek might be worth checking out. Decent numbers even on a bad Chicago team and quite affordable. One of the only realistic targets for the Avs.
  7. Columbus Merzlikins had a promising start to his career but just never turned out to be a solid NHL goalie. Tarasov might be something but remains to be seen. Nothing for the Avs.
  8. Dallas Oettinger ranges from meh to batshit insane. And Dallas will not move him unless we offer Makar. DeSmith is a career back-up.
  9. Detroit Cam Talbot at 37-years-old is way more effective than I would've ever guessed but getting him would still be a big risk, players that age tend to just drop off a cliff at some point and it is impossible to say when it's going to happen. Lyon has decent numbers but at age 31 has never been a starter. Pass.
  10. Edmonton lol. If you want a real answer here, Skinner is one of the worst starters in the league, they bought out Campbell and their back-up is Calvin Pickard, who was at one point lauded as the "goalie of the future" by a sizeable portion of this sub.
  11. Florida Bobrovsky is good, sometimes amazing. But Florida won't move him and we could not afford him anyhow. Knight has okay numbers but has never started. I think Knight could be acquirable but too pricey for the risk.
  12. Los Angeles Kuemper is currently injured and just not the same goalie anymore as he was in 22. Rittich is a back-up, nothing more.
  13. Minnesota Gustavsson looks like a good one, which means they will not trade him, especially to a division rival. MAF is still going, but can't be a starter anymore.
  14. Montreal Montembeault is okay and Primeau is bad. Would not want either.
  15. Nashville Good luck getting Saros out of there. Would be amazing but he just signed an extension that only kicks in next year. Only way he's going is if the Preds go for a full rebuild but doubt that's happening soon. Wedgewood is a back-up.
  16. New Jersey They just got Markström, he's not going anywhere. Allen is a back-up.
  17. New York (I) Sorokin ain't moving and Varlamov is no longer a starter.
  18. New York (R) Same. Shestyorkin is their guy and Quick ain't a starter anymore.
  19. Ottawa Yeaaah. They just got Ullmark last off-season and while he's off to a bad start, they won't move him yet. Forsberg is a back-up at best.
  20. Philadelphia They have more goalie issues than us. Fedotov has 11 games of NHL experience and hasn't looked good, Ersson has a little bit more experience but hasn't really looked better. Kolosov is also just getting used to NA.
  21. Pittsburgh Hahahahahaha. Ha. Their team is pretty shit, but Jarry and Nedeljkovic aren't helping out one bit. Nedeljkovic looked promising in Carolina but in retrospect it probably was more Carolina's defense than him.
  22. San Jose Askarov is not going anywhere. Vanecek is okay, but not all that great. Blackwood had a great start to his career but has been hampered by injuries. Technically could work but the risk is high.
  23. Seattle Doubt anyone wants Grubauer back and I don't see them giving up Daccord.
  24. St. Louis Binnington is the most overrated goalie in the entire league, and even if he was good I doubt anyone here would want him. Hofer is young and unproven. Could be something, could be nothing.
  25. Tampa Vasilevsky might be one of the most unrealistic targets on the list and we all know how Jonas Johansson looked when he was here.
  26. Toronto Woll is good but also all Toronto has, so he's not moving. Stolarz is a career back-up.
  27. Utah Vejmelka might be something but with such a small sample size it's tough to say. Ingram kinda the same, but he has been rough this year. Stauber has a career .911 sv%, too bad it's over 6 games total.
  28. Vancouver Demko is good but also not going anywhere (and is injured currently). Lankinen is a back-up at best and Silovs is young and looks rough so far.
  29. Vegas Samsonov is a complete question mark at this point and Hill has looked bad this season. Still, doubt they'd trade Hill, trusting Samsonov alone is not a winning move.
  30. Washington Lindgren has looked decent and Thompson has looked great. They're going with a sort of a tandem situation. I guess they might be open to moving Lindgren but I would not trust him to start.
  31. Winnipeg Helle is Helle and that's about it. Comrie is a career back-up tendie.
So, that's it. Had to keep each blurb short because there's so many teams.
Conclusions: 1. Most teams only have one decent goalie if that. 2. There's only a handful of really good, steady starters. 3. Nobody is willing to move their good starters for obvious reasons. 4. Even the best targets would be risks, like Gibson, Mrazek or Talbot. 5. I did not look into the teams' prospect tendies because we need one now, not in 2 years. We already have a 2-3 year project at home.

Dar, acum am un colet care de 12 zile stă la ei în depozit și nu face nimic. Am făcut 4 sesizări în chat în care mi s-a spus ori ca o să mă sune cei din Cluj ori ca urgentează livrarea fără niciun rezultat. La telefon bineînțeles ca nu răspunde nimeni.
