So this evening I spent most of the night outside after a simple smoking break turned into spotting various things! So I was sat down when suddenly I spotted something bright rapidly falling out of the sky I couldn't get a video fast enough as it happened in a split second.
At that point I was on watch scanning the sky's nothing happened for a while until I saw some objects moving that what's in the video you can see multiple and some rapid movement I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Nothing on tracker and no noise you can hear traffic on the A17 but that's it.
Shortly after that I saw some bright flashes that I couldn't explain either again happened too quick to get any sort of video I have other videos that I need to review first but thought I'd post this one.

I-m in the market for some new over-ear headphones. Happy with < $1000 on a pair but really looking for great audio quality and range, and great noise-cancelling.
I tried the audio-technica ATH-M50X and I loved their sound but unfortunately the wireless versions have no noise cancelling, and when working in an office that's a non-negotiable.
I listen to a wide range of music, so sound-wise I'm looking for something that isn't overly bass-heavy/treble-heavy or has any noticeable holes or gaps, but covers the whole spectrum.
I've tried going into stores to try headphones out but unfortunately they just offer a curated selection of mid-range songs to try out on headphones which makes it a bit harder to judge the quality. Previously I've had the beats studio 3, so I checked out the beats studio pros and they kinda sucked.
Tldr: looking for good noise-cancelling headphones with a great sound (entire range) under $1000. Also, in Australia if that makes a difference.

2024.11.27 09:48 hot_takes64 General poor scroll wheel quality in Chinese budget mice: what's your experience?
I've tried 3 budget Chinese mice so far and all of them have the same scroll wheel problem. Specifically, it sounds quite rattle-y when you scroll up, not so much when you scroll down. I've disassembled two of them and found that the plastic pieces that are holding the scroll wheel's axis allow for too much wobble during rotation. I managed to fix them with teflon tape and some keyboard switch lube, But it's a very meticulous process and easy to get wrong (rotation can be too difficult, middle click can become even more stiff). The models I have are: VXE R1 Pro Max (2 copies had this problem), Delux M800 Ultra and Attack Shark X3 Pro.
Have you had this problem with other models of budget Chinese mice?
On a related note: all of them use some "elevated" mouse switch for middle click. I could not find replacements on Aliexpress and honestly I can't tell if it's a taller switch or just a regular one on a platform and with longer connectors. Does anyone have experience replacing such middle click switches?

I was under the assumption that they’d send their products from inside the EU when ordering deon Germany since I am not keen on paying like 60€ on top of the 220€ keyboard just for customs and taxes. Does anyone know if there is a fairly lightweight kit to use the bike without the battery and removing the motor? as in making converting into a normal bike?
I ride some parks where emtbs are not permitted, i havent seen any kits to allow a normal pedal setup, keeping the motor in is a no go as they still dont allow it, i didnt want to argue with them.
