Just sharing the incident so that fellow travellers are aware of such scams and don't fall into trap. I'm feeling so stupid while writing this.
I went to jogini waterfall today with one of the other solo traveler. There were few people playing game with 3 cards ( 2black and 1 red). If you correctly predict the card with red, they double the money. They were 5 people, 2 were actually conducting that game, 3 were behaving like normal public participating in the game, winning bets and guessing correctly in all the excitement but later realised they all 5 were together.
When were trekking to the waterfall, The other fellow traveler stopped looking at them. He started playing by seeing the other 3 people doubling there money. I stopped him but he lost 2k. Later other people came but I asked them to go as this is gamble, eventually I myself fell into trap. As the other 3 people and fellow traveller was able to predict the right red card. I put a bet for 1k, 2k, 4k and 18k (this bet i could never take in all my senses but I was blacked out at that moment, don't know what happened). Thus lost all the bets. Even my fellow traveler already lost 2k even before I started.
So the other 3 guys (supposedly part of that game which I confirmed later, " well played guys as a group" he smiled and said "hota hai") will trick your mind, offer you cash money to play the game, behave like they are helping you. I feel so stupid of myself as I was the one telling those guys that this is gamble and asking others not the play, but ended up losing 25k.
Don't troll, genuinely sharing the incident so that you don't fall into trap. This was first time ever I got tricked like this while I was making others aware of the scam at the same place.

Bit of backstory: The property we wanted had been on the market since June this year. We weren’t even planning to move yet, but this house seemed like the perfect next step for our family—great location, right size, and worked with our budget. The sellers’ reason for moving was their age and needing a bungalow.
We put our house on the market specifically for this property, sold it, agreed on terms, booked solicitors, and had a survey done. Everything was progressing smoothly. Now, out of the blue, the sellers have pulled out, saying they’ve “changed their minds” and decided not to move.
I’m absolutely furious with how the UK system allows this to happen. We’ve gone through months of stress and upheaval just for them to back out due to a simple “change of mind.” They’ve disrupted so many plans, and there’s no accountability.
We would need to contact them directly, as the agents have washed their hands of the situation. I’m considering writing a letter to the sellers—not to be rude or confrontational, but to share the human impact of their decision. With the anonymity provided by agents, it feels like they don’t have to face the consequences of their actions.
I’ve drafted a respectful letter that explains how this has affected us, asks for more details, and invites them to open a conversation. I figure the worst that can happen is they ignore us... but I’m wondering—do you think writing this letter is a good idea? Would it help, or am I just wasting my energy?

Hi dudes i’m new to night shifts i work in a care home with dementia residents, i started doing them as a favour for my boss as she needed cover and today is my 4th one after a few days off and i cannot stand the thought of going in. I understand people can be hardcore night shifters and may be thinking i’m a right pussy but they make me feel so anxious, my body and stomach feels strange and empty? i can maybe sleep for a couple hours but i just feel a weird sensation, night shifts just aren’t for me. i feel stupid cancelling the last shifts she wants me to do but realistically i have to put myself first and the way i feel about them and go back to days. Has anyone else experienced this?
