Hey everyone, I'm a 24-year-old male, and I've been dealing with acne since I was 16. It’s not severe—just a small amount on my face and more noticeable on my back. Recently, my dermatologist suggested starting Accutane, but they also recommended cutting back on my workouts during treatment as muscles get weaker and cant sustain a 4 day a week intense training regimen.
For context, I’m really passionate about calisthenics and have built a lot of strength over the years. I can do weighted muscle ups, pull-ups with 135 lbs and dips with 225 lbs, and improving in this sport has been a huge part of my life and happiness.
The idea of taking Accutane for 6 to 9 months worries me because I’m afraid I’ll lose progress in something that’s so important to me. My acne isn’t severe enough to make me feel like I need to sacrifice my progress and joy for the treatment, but I’m unsure if it’s worth the trade-off.
Has anyone else been in a similar situation? If you’ve taken Accutane while staying active, how did you balance it? Did it affect your strength or ability to train? Any advice or experiences would mean a lot!

Bottom test is today just after midday on CD26 and AF should be due roughly tomorrow. I wanted to play this game like crazy since it came out but my PC was rotten and I had no next gen console. I discovered GeforceNOW and was over the moon to see it running on the highest settings with just a little bit of latency. But the Audio delay in cutsceneses, especially in Live action ones and car rides, really bummed me out. Is there really no definite fix other than, lower the graphics and pause when you see the loading sign on cutscenes?

Hier steht mein Plan für das Wintersemester 🫠
Sehe da Potenzial vor allem im Bereich BAföG, da muss ich noch einen Aktualisierungsantrag stellen.
Im Bereich Minijob schaff ich es leider nicht, an der Freibetragsgrenze zu kommen. Mein Ziel wäre mal mind. 400€ (nur auf Mindestlohnbasis).
Hatte überlegt, wie ich im Bereich Nahrung auf 100€ komme, wäre sicherlich noch machbar. Mein Körperfettanteil dürfte sogar einen Kaloriendefizit ermöglichen, den ich über paar Monate halten kann ohne schwere Folgen. Wegen Kreislaufprobleme sehe ich eher davon ab, solange ich nebenbei für Uni lernfähig bleiben muss.
Alles nach Miete und Essen unter AUSGABEN sind durchschnittliche Ausgaben für den Sachverhalt, den ich einmal alle paar Monate ausgebe. Wie Semesterbeitrag aktuell bei rund 300€, also monatlich 50€.
Wüsste sonst nix, was ich optimieren könnte. Hättet ihr Vorschläge?
Mein jetziges Ziel ist es, ein paar Rücklagen anzusparen und die Anschaffung von qualitativ hochwertigen Kochutensilien und Staubsauger (und sonstige Sachen fürs Wohnen, die lange halten).
