Kind of curious about this interaction. So since natural weapons are considered light weapons and thus compatible with weapon finesse, I know you should have no problem attempting maneuvers with the white hair using your DEX, and thus also adding your INT mod thanks to Knowledge is Power (assuming you dip or VMC Wizard to get access to it). This will work for example with the level 4 Trip attempt you get. What I'm wondering though is about the Grab/free grapple that you get; it specifically says you use your Intelligence instead of your Strength modifier when making the check. Does this mean you can't replace it with DEX, and therefore can't get both your DEX and INT bonuses added to the grapple CMB?
White Hair (Su): At 1st level, a white-haired witch gains the ability to use her hair as a weapon. This functions as a primary natural attack with a reach of 5 feet. The hair deals 1d4 points of damage (1d3 for a Small witch) plus the witch’s Intelligence modifier. In addition, whenever the hair strikes a foe, the witch can attempt to grapple that foe with her hair as a free action without provoking an attack of opportunity, using her Intelligence modifier in place of her Strength modifier when making the combat maneuver check. I’ve been quite a devoted gamer in my little life, from MMO’s to quick round FPS; I enjoy starting a game for launch of title or expansion. The playing field is overall more egalitarian with people experimenting rather than running meta. With the birth of my wife and I’s first, starting from launch of any game has become an unfortunate improbability; yet I find myself alone this thanksgiving weekend and I plan to game.
My questions are:
- Is it still worth buying space marines 2? If so, which version of the game?
- If yes to the previous question, ps5 or PC?
- If no, any recommendations?

2024.11.27 12:41 CoriSP What's going on with how if Trump really is going to basically dismantle democracy in the USA, the current government seems fine with just letting this happen?
Recently I found several articles claiming that Trump plans on withholding federal funding from blue states that don't agree with his ideologies. I understand there's this whole thing about "being the bigger person" and "playing by the rules" or whatever. But if all the things I've been hearing about the Trump administration and the things they're planning to do, why isn't the current government trying to stop him if they know that he's basically going to undo nearly 250 years of freedom in the country? If this really is as bad as it looks, isn't this an existential threat to the country and the constitution? Isn't it at a point where just "following the rules" is no longer as important as making sure we don't become a dictatorship? None of this is making any sense.

2024.11.27 12:41 Stevosaurus22 MY IR BOOT HACK - they were killing my feet so i did this.
Long story here but i ordered my first pair of Red Wings Iron Rangers about a year ago now. I bought the size the Live chat person suggested on the offical Red Wing website, i had to do this because i live in Newfoundland (Canada) and we do not have any Red Wing stores here so i had to order online. I am a size 9US in most running shoes/sneakers and red wing live chat suggested i get size 8E IR. When i first got them i read so many things online that you need to wear 2 pairs of thick socks and tie them tight to break them in and thats what i did - the first few times i wore them i couldn't have them on for more than 30 mins a time, my feet would go numb then eventally they got a little more barable and i started wearing them to work and i found they really rubbed the back of my heels so i didn't really wear them much after that, maybe once every week or two for a little run to the store or coffee shop but they still rubbed my feet and so i figured i had the wrong size but the online store i ordered from didn't do exchanges.
Anyways I just started bringing them back into my rotation maybe a month ago for the Fall and so i decided to try something different i started laceing them up looser espically at the bottom closer to the toe, i still tie the very last loop tight around my ankle but keep the others muc h looser - BUT with the looser laces they actually fit better this way. i didn't notice any painful heel rubbing and i think i prefer this style because i usually wear Blundstones and they are slip on Chelsea style boots that have a lot of movement and room in them so i guess i was just cranking the IR too tight because that's what i read i should do, either way i am very happy with this new method, they are still fully laced but not half as much as before i had a lot of excess laces at the end that i always just tucked back into the top of the boots but whatever i can wear them all day painfree now.
for anyone having BAD heel rub try this out it might help with that it did for me.

Well i guess im' gonna try and post here since the moderators on Piracy did not like me asking it and removed my post.
Where I hope that maybe someone can help with a Virustotal alternative since it looks like you can just remove the security vendors that show up when you look to see if the files are safe, where I saw that one of the trusted game repackers on the Piracy megathread had been flagged by Kaspersky for some bitcoin mineTrojan, but when I wanted to see again and take a screenshot today to ask if it was a false positive report, the Kaspersky one was removed, and it only showed the ones that said it had no virus.
I hope that maybe someone on this sub can help me with some insight into this, and if it's just the known risk we have to take that it has a bitcoin miner in it when we pirate games.
Where I don't want to put what repacker it was that got flagged if it's just a false positive report, I just found it strange.
