Hi! I'm looking for a way to download all of my Google Photos. But, I've seen that the output from google takeout is stripping the metadata with .json file, and that is pretty annoying. I've looked through several posts and threads, but all of them looks like it comes from years ago. So, I have some question:
- For those doing google takeouts recently, is this still the case?
- I've heard that google takeouts to onedrive does not strip the metadata (and thus easier to save after that), is that true?
- In the case I need to manually get those files through google takeout one by one, is there any recommended apps to combine the json files? I've heard metadatafixer, but some user said it took very long time (+- one day for around 1TB files, using a high end PC, which I don't have)

I'm currently in college studying software engineering and was thinking of creating a useful piece of software for my portfolio. I was thinking about what problems I've recently had and how I could solve it via software.
Recently I've been trying to find pygmy corys however I've been having a really hard time finding any stores near me that stock them, and it's been very time consuming calling each one and googling for stores.
Therefore, I came up with the idea of a LFS stock website, which would consist of a map of stores, and you could click one to see what types of fish they are selling currently, as well as filter to find the closest store to you selling the desired fish.
I know this is quite ambitious as it'd require stores to sign up and keep accurate stock information, however I can see it being a very useful tool in the aquatic industry.
I'd love to hear your feedback on this and if you think this would be useful, Thanks
