Hey guys, I work in the civil service (UK) and I use a lenovo think pad. The IT team have severely disabled any access to control panels or any settings other than brightness for that matter. At work, we use the lenovo docking station but we can't have 1 for the home.
I have dual monitors and I want to get a docking station for my home setup but im not sure if 3rd party docking hubs would work. I'm looking at wavlink hubs with displaylink hardware so it works on my m2 mac as well.
Does anyone know if this hub would work on the lenovo think pad without having to install drivers, or do I need the lenovo docking station in order for it work without drivers?
FYI can't install anything on this work laptop from the Internet.

So, this is my male cat Loki. He loves to look out the window but it has become a little problem. So I live in a 2nd floor apartment and all the windows have a screen but the second room’s window, I usually close the door while the window is open (because I’m playing video games and some time I don’t even notice when my cats come in or out) but sometimes my wife comes in to tell me something and Loki rushes to the room and to the window, a couple days ago he almost fell down so now I’m way more careful and I was going to buy and place a screen on that window too but I got the idea to get like a window patio for him but all the ones I find are not for sliding windows and all the windows around the apartment are sliding windows. Can anyone help me find one for him? O maybe attach a video of how can I build one maybe. I just don’t want to put a screen and that’s it, he loves to feel the fresh air and look at the cars so why not get one if I can? Was it obvious? Was I just too blind or not knowledgeable enough about philosophy?
So I was in philosophy, we were talking about happiness and whether or not you need to respond to all of your desires. I was like, wait, is that Rose School of Thought and its two fractions? Then I started to look for other references, and I realized that the spectator acting method is what my philosophy teacher keeps telling us: put a distance to analyze what around you and find the deeper meaning.
So I told my teacher and she said that I should do a presentation on it. Now, this is an opportunity. Because I can, in some way, spread the greatness of lotm. But, since it's philosophy, I may have some limitations, and the chances to convert one of my classmates are literally near 0. And I'm shy, and the people in my class are quick to judge...
But at the same time, I feel like it would be an interesting subject to work on. So, here is my question; have you caught on others philosophical elements in lotm? Did it feel obvious to you, or did you find it after some thoughts like me?
