Price check on bucky! So im willing to overpay a tad..the reason being i hold the bucky owners 2025 1st round pick. He’s currently the 1.4 and we decide non playoff teams pick order by max PF in sleeper. With two games to go i want to take talent off his team so the 1.2 and 1.3 pass him in max PF the next two weeks. This would put me with the 1.1, 1.2, 1.5, 1.6, and a late 1st in the 25 draft(the pick i’d be giving up here). Im rebuilding my RB room from scratch and starting with a young core of WRs (MHJ, London) and think bucky is great..but am i over strategizing? Can i grab better rb talent with a late 1st in this draft? Thanks y’all?

I’m completely new to decorative soldering and need some advice to improve my work. I own a small mobile repair shop, and I recently got interested in creating unique soldered designs for watches (like the ones in the images attached). However, I’m facing some challenges and could really use your help! Here’s my situation:

  1. Tools I’m Using:
    • I’ve bought a cheap, larger soldering iron to experiment with these designs because my professional soldering iron (used for mobile repair) is too small for this type of work.
    • I’m using copper tape as a base to solder onto the watch.
  2. Issues Faced:
    • The solder I’m using looks dull and blackish after application.
    • I found out that high silver-content solder wire gives a shiny look, but it's too expensive for me as a beginner. Are there any affordable alternatives or smaller quantity packs I can start with?
  3. Questions I Have:
    • Do I need to use a specific kind of flux or soldering iron for better results?
    • Is there a better type of tape or base material to use for this kind of work?
    • Are there any specific techniques or methods I should follow to make the solder smooth and shiny?
    • Could you recommend any beginner-friendly videos or tutorials that can guide me through this process?

2024.11.27 16:47 OkIdeal9852 BOBF Boba or Two Pack?

I prefer the BOBF look, and the fact that the gaffi stick can be stored on his back. So even if he's not holding it, it's still visible when posing.
However the "bird poop" Boba has the knee dart and jetpack effects which I don't believe any other Boba comes with. I will probably never pose the hobo Fett from the two pack, so that'll just sit unopened in my garage.
Finally the figures I'd pay for to get the free figure are Loki and CW Anakin, and those might be one of the next free figures

First of all, sorry I'm not sure where to ask this, so apologize in advance If this doesn't belong here...
A little bit of background on myself. I'm an industry software engineer with a background (B.Sc, and M.Sc degrees) in Medical Physics, Organic Chemistry, and Electrical Engineering. I was recently contacted by a professor who I do contract work for, expressing interest in hiring me as a PhD student in Computational Biology. In particular, the nature of the project he's asking me to work with him on will involve an interface of several of areas: image informatics, spatial omics, network biology (due to the interactions of these genes), neurobiology and developmental biology, morphometrics, and statistics. I'm conflicted whether I'm qualified academically for this kind of project, would I be successful in it? Also conflicted because it will be working for free (relatively speaking, as the PhD salary would be pennies compared to my engineering salary).
What are ya'll thoughts?

So my fluffy gal Opal May has had a little white bump under her eye. It started out really small, and has stopped growing but is right under her eye and it worries me a bit.
She doesn’t seem annoyed by it, and she lets me touch it and doesn’t make sounds like it hurts, i’m more just curious if this is a cyst or just a benign bump/zit?

Am i overpaying for this 1970 Fastback Retromod? Full build list is in the last photo. It was originally sold for 59k in 2017 when it was fully rebuilt. Since then, the owner has only put 900mi on it. It’s a 1970 fastback “boss 351” (which technically doesnt exist). 351w engine with a c6 auto transmission.
They’re asking $45k, but they agreed to go down to $42k. I don’t know a ton about the values of these things, but was curious to hear your guys’ perspectives. Thanks!

Hi all, I know this has been asked a million times, but I can’t seem to find an answer to this specific question (at the end):
Item was delivered 11/21. Buyer opened an INR with refund request on 11/22. I immediately messaged the buyer explaining (nicely) they need to take it up with USPS as there’s nothing I can do on my end. No response.
Today, 5 days later, eBay sent me a message: “Don’t forget to respond to [buyer].” When I open the message, it takes me to the case page which states that I already messaged the buyer, but “can take another action while waiting for their response.”
eBay won’t allow me to re-upload tracking (“The tracking number cannot be changed once the item is delivered.”), so the only action left to take would be to refund the buyer, which I’m obviously not going to do.
At this point, is the recommended course of action to continue to wait until eBay decides to close the case in my favor? Or should I be proactive and ask eBay to step in?
