2024.11.27 16:50 One_Requirement7305 Soy-free protein sources (lower carb/fat)
Hey all, so I've been plant-based/on a vegan journey for several months now but I'm still having GI issues. Now, I know why: I lift weights and do powerlifting/powerbuilding and also have major issues with satiety, and the only thing that I've found to be beneficial to me is eating a relatively high protein diet (130-150 g protein/day). However, my body does not like it when I slam three to four blocks of tofu to get there. Tempeh is better, but still not the easiest for me to digest; I get bloated and feel crappy. I've tried other meat replacements like Gardein and Morningstar Farms Chick'n Strips and those are better, but I still don't feel great. Recently, I did an experiment where I switched temporarily re-introduced chicken into my diet for a week (I know, save the judgement) and kept calories/macros the same and the inflammation/digestion issues went away. I ate a block of tofu again, bloating.
I don't want to keep eating chicken because ethically I just don't agree with it, but I'm also tired of dealing with digestive issues. What are some good high-protein, lower carb/lower fat protein sources that don't have soy? I say lower fat/carb because I like to try and eat isolated macro foods, it makes tracking in RP Diet easier. I've tried pea protein and that sits really well, no issues, but I also really don't want to just live off of shakes, rice and broccoli (if I have to, fine, but I'd like to see if there's other alternatives).

2024.11.27 16:50 Alert-Stuff3904 How to wipe hard drive clean without BIOS password nor admin rights?
Found an old laptop in my house. It has admin rights so I wanted to reinstall windows to download stuff on it, however I can't access the BIOS setting to change boot order either because it has a password. So then I wanted to wipe the hard drive on it with DBAN but for that I also need to rearrange boot order. Is there another way to do it?

I started lucid dreaming a few months ago. At first, it was small — I’d ask myself, “Am I dreaming right now?” and then something in the dream would shift, almost like it was trying to distract me from that thought.
Now, I’m at the point where I’m aware I’m dreaming almost every time. I can control things like flying or doing other crazy stuff. It’s wild.
But last night was different. It was a nightmare. I was completely aware I was dreaming, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t wake myself up. I’d “wake up” in the dream, only to find myself back in the same nightmare, or something similar — same place, different situations. I can usually tell I’m dreaming if I try to call someone and the buttons input the wrong numbers, which happened last night. I was slapping my face as hard as I could in the dream to try to wake up. Eventually I woke up but was in a panic.
Has anyone else experienced something like this?
