Recently sold a bunch of stuff on marketplace. Every sell was a trial in itself.
Sold a bulk amount of jewellery. Ad said: pick up from (suburb), no postage or delivery. Price is firm, not willing to separate. Immediately get messages from 2 people, asking if I'm willing to separate. I just responded with "no" and one of the people got upset that my response was rude, that they were going to give me a bad rating.
Sold another item. Lady messages asking if she can pick up from mine, in the evening. As I was caring for someone, I wasn't thrilled with the timing but told her that was okay. She didn't rock up, claimed her kids were misbehaving. Organise for the next day, she says between 3-4pm. Doesn't show up, I message her at 5pm and she tells me she's working, to not bother her. So I don't respond. She really wants this item though, so organises it for the 3rd day, around 7pm. Send her a message on the day of, showing her a photo of Christmas items I was giving away for free, asking if she wanted anything. She said yes, that she'd have a look through the bag of stuff when she arrived. She doesn't arrive at 7pm, nor 8pm. But her boyfriend arrives at 9pm. He seems confused by the price ($30) but hands it over, reluctantly. Explain about the bag of Christmas stuff. He says "well seeing as it's free I'll take the whole lot", takes the bag and leaves. I message her a few days later saying I hope she enjoyed the item and Christmas stuff, in return she blocks me.
Giving away other items for free. Ad states: items are free, so no delivery. Will leave out the front of my house, send me a message and I'll give you my address. It's first come, first served, just sift through and take what you want. No holds.
Within first 5 minutes I get one message from a woman who just wrote her address and told me to bring everything. Didn't even respond. Another woman asks for specific things then sends me her address too, I respond asking her to please read the item description. We messaged in the morning. Then at 11pm at night she responds saying I was rude, she shouldn't have to wake up her baby to drive him to my house to come and get free items.
These people are a different breed of humans I swear it. And before anyone comes at me saying I shouldn't have given the first one a chance. I'm broke, not a cent to my name. No one else was interested in the item, I was trying to make the sale.

Like, he has his moments, but overall, I thought he was a bit whiny when people didn't agree with him or do what he wanted to do, and is the most stubborn when something tries to change the group dynamic. The best example is when his cousin came to visit. Another example is when Aleita wants to do more with her life, but Jeremie wants her to stay with him.

 | When extruding a profile curve, lets say a curve line along a guide curve, i notice the profile curve twists when encountering corners. I would like to make ensure the profile curve is level at each of these points so when I extrude it along Z axis the bottom and the vertical edges are at perfect 90 degrees. In the image you can see the issue of how it looks now. I have tried set curve normal with minimum twist but that does not work. What I think needs to happen is to analyze the “cross section line” of the profile curve at each point and make sure that there is no difference in the position along the Z axis for the two endpoints and if there is move the lower one up and the higher one down so the difference becomes 0 and the cross section becomes flat. I just cant think of a way to do this. I have lovely organization skills but not much else lol I’ve been applying on LinkedIn indeed zip recruiter and the company sites but I’ve gotten absolutely ZERO feed back. This shits sooooo frustrating! I’ve been considering going back to door dash even though it’s hardly worth it and my cars falling apart. HOW DO I GET A JOB 😭😭😭

I wore a pair of red tinted glasses. After 10 minutes or so, everything looked normal to me (color renders), but after a few hours when I took them off, everything was green tinted for a time while my brain recolored what I was seeing. Does it require more calories to "recolor" what you're seeing into a normal pallet, as opposed to not having any tint at all (clear glasses)? IE will I burn more energy wearing color tinted glasses all day, than not?

I’ve been using a dab pen heavily for the past 8 months. Now my tolerance is completely shot and I’m looking to lower it without taking a tolerance break.
I went to one dispensary and the employee told me that dab pens are far worse for your tolerance than joints and bongs, as the thc percentage is so much higher. She recommended I switch to flower for a little while. Then I went to another dispensary for a second opinion and the employee told me that using bongs are actually worse for your tolerance than a dab pen. Also, im unable to get a clear answer from chatGPT.
Would switching to tokes be a good idea to lower my tolerance, or would that just make it worse?

Alright so I, F23, was invited to one of my friend's weddings as a bridesmaid. We've been friends for quite some time and so I kinda figured that she'd want me as a bridesmaid in her wedding. Well everything went well for dress selection and all of that stuff and she didn't really state anything that was against us wearing any jewelry or anything with our dresses to the wedding ceremony or the reception afterwards.
Well come the day of the wedding I had opted to go for a pair of earrings that I had made that were beaded along with a necklace. They weren't, at least in my opinion to big or flashy and they represent who I am. Well during the ceremony everything seemed to go fine but during the reception afterwards I got confronted by the brides sister who was also the MOH. She said that my jewelry was inappropriate for a wedding and too flashy. She said that it was coming from both her and the bride. I told her that I didn't believe that they were flashy or inappropriate at all and they complimented my dress. I also said that if the bride felt that way then she could let me know herself since I didn't believe it was coming from her. I ended up wearing the jewelry throughout the rest of the reception with some people asking about my jewelry being purely curious about it. But I wanted to know if I am the AH in this scenario?
