2024.11.27 17:53 leg_help I loved the game but i feel like it´s overrated

I just finished the game and cried to the ending but i feel it´s just overrated. i finished it in 50 hours and the first 30 were awesome, constant discovery, flying the ship is awesome, figure out some of the most obvious mechanics but the next 20 were just agony, feeling like the developers just put things to waste my time, fall in the black hole at giant´s? might as well restart the loop instead of wasting your time of course you´ll have to fly and then walk to your destination ALL OVER AGAIN, jumping around a little bit too fast? whoops! ghost matter you´re dead go back to the beginnin loser, low on health and bump into a random cactus going around a corner? DEAD.
It was only in the last 5 hours of gameplay i realized the objective wasn´t to take the projection stones to their respective planets to somehow activate the ATP i´m not kidding when i tell you i must´ve spent 10 hours trying to figure out how to use the teleports to bring the stones back and forth between the planets to make it work until i gave up, looked it up and learned i was completely wrong (i learned right away that the stones made you look into other places and displayed text but i thought it would have a higher purpose given that i kept finding them everywhere), after that i was done with the game and it´s bullshit, seriously how was i supposed to know to hide inside the jellyfish when my first interactions with them just cause damage to my ship and myself and don´t even get me started on how to enter the ATP, of course i couldn´t find it so i looked it up and literaly cried out of sheer frustation for how dumb and stupid it is, no offline videogame has ever made me feel the rage outer wilds made me feel in that moment.
The ending was dissapointing kinda, i reached the bonfire, gathered my buddies and cried while they played a beautiful song for me, thinking i had done it, that i had saved them, what hit me the most was to think of feldspar´s return who survived inside the corpse of a motherfucking anglerfish in the middle of the most hostile planet in the solar system while everyone thought he was gone for good i was just happy to know he was going to return home (for a little while at least before he´s next adventure) and then boom, we are dead?
I don´t wanna make it seem like i hate the game because i loved it, i´m completely sure i´ll never play anything like it again because such games just don´t exist, outer wilds is an oddity and i love it but i never excepted it to be so frustrating, maybe i´ll play it again later but i´ve gotta recover

Roasted Tomatillo Salsa and (Not So) Roasted Salsa Roja First attempt at something more than pico de gallo! I think the Tomatillo is superior since the ingredients got a better char. I tried to remove the skins after charring since I saw it was a step in a recipe I saw, but honestly I found it to be so difficult I lost patience and gave up. I enjoyed the charred spots anyways. Kept the seeds to keep it medium spicy.
1st: 8 smallish tomatillos 5 cloves garlic 1/2 onion 2 serranos 2 jalapeños All roasted under broiler then pan deglazed with chicken stock, strained and added a bit to help with blending. Finished with cilantro.
2nd: ~10 tomatoes 2/3 onion 3 serranos 2 jalapeños Roasted the above, then added 8 cloves of raw garlic, lime juice and cilantro - blended.

How do I get a cleaner print? Hey guys, first time posting here! I have a bambu A1 mini, and I'm printing some bitz for some miniatures. The prints have quite a few sort of artefacts on them - what settings would I need to tweak to eliminate these? I have a 0.4mm nozzle and I'm using the default 0.08mm Extra Fine settings. I tried using ironing but it came out wayyyy worse.

Took a "Certified Pre-owned" G70 I bought to my mechanic 2 days after purchase. They found the following. Rear seal oil leak, dry rot on tires, uneven inside wear on all tires. No alignment/balancing/or tire rotation was done during certification "process" per the service record, I was given after purchase, while in their hands. And front pads had 4-5mm remaining, putting them not in the red but the yellow range. See pics. The car did pull some during the test drive but I just chalked that up to the wider back wheels tramlining. Now it seems that's not the case. As the car is CPO it was obviously bought from a Genesis dealer. 1. What should I expect to be taken care of by them no charge to me? 2. Do I give them the benefit of the doubt during certification that they missed these things, or likely they were ignored due to cost of correcting? Even the wipers were dirty as I found out after 1st using them during my drive home. Thanks. Other PFA

I am new to waterjet cutting and am having quite a bit of striations when cutting 4 inch mild steel(A36). I am running at 40% speed and will try to slow down to 20% on next cut. is there any other way to clean up the cut other than slowing down? Is my nozzle wearing out? i haven't gotten any feedback from flow techs on the issue. I use a FLOW mach3 4020b
