Why are people so merciless nowadays? Why? During the time of people suffering the most, humanity has faded. And it displays itself the most on TikTok by not only children, but adults, who are arguing amongst themselves in comments over the most insignificant things, like how much money should be spent on Christmas gifts, that £100 is too little. I was taught the value of gratitude by my family, especially my mum. She did her best always and still does, makes us feel so loved and that's all I could ever ask for during these 21 years of life, even when she couldn't afford the things I wanted. Society is becoming so much worse, so much more ignorant. Just last week, I visited a girl who recently celebrated her 15th birthday. She won't live to see 16. May not even see Christmas. She has terminal cancer that she has been fighting for 4 years. Her parents both struggle financially, but that concern isn't their main right now. And that's the cruel reality. I wish people would get out of their spoiled, entitled, selfish bubbles and see the world for what it truly is.

I'm interested in applying to Brown University but they're going test-required this year! And I don't even have to say how uncompetitive a 29 ACT score is. And for context I'm Southeast Asian living in the outskirts of the bay area (so I'm often grouped with that general location, but don't get access to the same resources as say students living in San Francisco). I also realize it's too late to take the ACT again. Should I just look into applying for another college..?

So I'm mid cycle of rad and I'm starting to lose motivation because I just look rubbish muscle definition disappearing and I'm starting to look fat!
The first 3 weeks of the cycle I looked amazing felt amazing looked fuller and bigger!
But now I just look like I'm getting fat..
I am bulking and I have been bulking for 4months now and never looked this bad.
Could it be water retention? I am taking creatine aswell.

2024.11.27 19:50 AnCapGamer How do you increase the available area of a Shapeable area effect?

I feel confident I can make a reasonable assumption about what the right call is to make here, but I'd like to have some extra consensus before I do dit.
Area (Shapeable) says it gives you "30 cubic feet" to play with, which you can shape as you wish.
Underneath the Area extra in general, it says "Each +1 point increase in cost per rank moves the area's DISTANCE rank up by 1." It then goes into an example of how this would apply to a Burst Area effect - but "Shapeable" doesn't use "Distance" as it's metric - it uses Volume.
I'm ASSUMING that that means the same logic applies - "Shapeable Area Effects" use the same math - Each +1/Rank in the Area extra that's added to that particular effect increases the VOLUME rank by 1, starting at Volume Rank 5 (30 feet) - but I don't KNOW that for certain. Is there any official answer to this, or should I just run with this assumption?

I had a subscription which I was fairly happy with. I use it about once a week to watch English football.
I have it on several devices (Apple TV, Samsung galaxy, iPhone, iPad)
Since I’m the only one using it, there is only one device working at a time.
Recently iPhone stopped working, didn’t care much since I hardly used it. Then the iPad stopped working. Just tells me the playlist does not work. I wonder if there is an iOS setting that would stop it. It’s the only thing that makes sense since every device is working including Apple TV. Thanks.

So I am Michael, but I want to try out the name Micah for the past few months because I feel for so long not fitting in with the other boys and men around me. I gre up in a fatherless household where my mom ocassionally faced financial hardships. My mom often clinged to Pentecostal (Protestant Christian) faith to cope with the financial troubles, but as it would seem she is very fundamentalist. She believes the Earth was made in six literal days and is about 6,000 years old, opposes same-sex marriage, gender transitions, and often guilt-trips me for not being as religiously devout as her.
In high school, most of my friends were female and the girls I befriended were nice, compassionate, and mature for their age. The boys were very rude and immature and often called me a f##got for spending a lot of time with girls in high school. I also felt a bit envious of the clothing these girls wore and how women's clothing is more form-fitting and colorful than boys clothing. However, I didn't have the funding to buy girl's clothing and my best friend Sydney was unwilling to buy feminine clothes on my behalf because she said "I do not approve of cross-dressing. Find someone else". It was a brutal response to hear that from what I thought was a good friend. She then added my cell phone number to this Christian group chat and I was getting spammed Bible verses without my consent.
I eventually ask her to take me out of the group chat and since then, outside of waving a hand as a greeting to her at a diner, I haven't contacted her. Now, I am concerned that this subreddit is not the right place. I recently have been questioning my gender identity and been calling myself "Micah" instead of "Michael", but whenever I adopt the idenity of a woman, I immediately get imposter syndrome because I worry how I can be transgender if I experience little to no gender dysphoria. I want to make up for the past and buy women's clothes from Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister, Aeropostale, and American Eagle Outfitters, but I have two issues. One, I do not have the funds to buy apparel to "test the waters" in expression, and two I live with my previously mentioned mom who is very religious and would not approve of me wearing feminine clothing. I don't want to end up homeless, so I have been living "in the closet" for some time now.
When I was two years old, I had moderate behaviorial problems like outbursts and agression, and adults either ignored me, gave me harsh punishments, or threatened to call the cops on me at 5. I soon learn that agressive behavior is not socially acceptable and suppressed my negative emotions. When I moved down to South Florida at age 9, students at elementary and middle school spread rumors that I am somehow gay because all of my friends are female and I posess female mannerisms. A student in middle school even called me a f##got.
I hope this does not come off as a pity party, but I need some virtual hugs and support. Also, I am scared about going on HRT because I heard of horror stories from de-transitioners on TikTok.

I’m trying out Tovala, been wanting to do this for a long time! The oven is super neat and the meals look so good.
But, when I tasted my first dish; the chicken breast was so garlicky that it overpowered the other flavors.
Tried the teriyaki today, and same thing. I’ve got the apricot glazed chicken and nothing sounds worse to me than apricot garlic chicken…is it always like that?
