 | Had a MH C&P specifically for anxiety, depression, insomnia secondary to service connected Tinnitus. Did the exam and never touched on or talked about anything related to my combat deployment or PTSD related issues. My plan was to go through this claim and then start a PTSD claim after everything was settled just due to the amount of issues I was claiming, and I was honestly just overwhelmed already. Anyways, so I receive my decision letter with some service connections for other issues, some denials and some deferrals. On my letter they denied PTSD to include anxiety, depression, insomnia in the same category. This is confusing to me as I know they lump these together but they didn’t ask me anything about PTSD otherwise I would have talked about my combat deployment to Afghanistan, and events and experiences associated with that. Decision also stated favorable findings and that exam confirmed PTSD diagnosis?? So my question is from here do I file a supplemental for PTSD decision? Hi guys! I’m in OKC right now and wanted to move to LA for music business careers. I want to transfer to UCLA eventually, but will wait to save the money and know how to be an adult first before making the decision. I was gonna start next fall, which is when my freshman year of college would start. Ideally I wanted to start in LA for my freshman year but I don’t want to make any huge risks. I was wondering how much minimum would I have to make to live with roommates off campus? I have a car that gets pretty good gas mileage so I’m not super worried about transportation. What would be the smartest move when moving to Los Angeles and how much should I save up? I was thinking at the very least a little over 5,000. I also was wondering what would be some culture shocks you can think of that I possibly couldn’t have considered coming from the south/midwest. I’ve visited LA once years ago and have wanted to be there since then so I have a little bit of an idea of what LA is like. Thank you guys and hope to hear from you!!

I’ve been doing my best at removing all PTFE nonstick cookware from my house. I recently noticed that there’s a coating inside our toaster oven because it’s started to scratch where the racks slide. I emailed the company and it turns out the inside of the oven has PTFE nonstick coating. It was an expensive toaster oven. My question is reasonably how much exposure to it am I getting if the food is not touching anything nonstick? The racks and air fryer baskets are not nonstick.

2024.11.27 19:30 HayashiAkira_ch Is this worth another urgent care visit?
I’m a 29 year old male, 175 pounds. I’ve been having issues with a sore throat. On the 15th I went to the urgent care and was tested and told I don’t have strep, the flu, or Covid. But the pain is getting worse and now when I swallow the pain shoots from my neck to my ears.
Right now I’m using cough drops, Alka Seltzer, and Theraflu to power through work during the day, but when I get up in the morning I just feel god awful.
The only medications I am consistently on are Wellbutrin for depression, Concerta for ADHD, and Primidone for hand tremors. I have been on the Wellbutrin and Concerta since April and Primidone since June.
Does this seem like normal cold stuff or should I drop another $50 for an urgent care visit?

I sit next to them in most of my classes because of bad (?) luck.
We were friendly most of the time and would talk through the lesson but I didn’t see her as anything more.
After some time, she seemed to be more comfortable with me and would follow me after class finished, and sometimes approach me when I was heading to another lesson.
I was uncomfortable with how clingy she would be sometimes, but I am absolutely shit at establishing boundaries and saying no, so regrettably I put up with it.
Now I want to preface that there was nothing egregiously bad about this girl. We were just clearly on different wavelengths with our relationship: she thought I was a good friend, I thought we were just slightly more than acquaintances.
However, one day out of the blue, she takes me to a corner where nobody could see and confessed to me. This was the first time anybody had ever confessed to me, but I really didn’t feel anything for her, so I rejected her. I felt completely shitty about it because maybe I led her on but it was a done deal now.
She didn’t seem too shocked by my answer and instead smiled and asked if we could remain friends. I said yes, when I really should have said no, but again I am horrible at establishing boundaries.
After that, we left for our other classes and now I don’t know what to do because I still have to sit next to her for tomorrow and the whole year after.
How do I approach the situation?

 | My beardie was just pooping with her mouth wide open and made almost a hissing sound too. He seemed uncomfortable. The poop looked pretty normal though. Then afterwards she layed right down like her tail on top of the poop as if she was too lethargic to move. Her beard then started turning black. I picked her up and tried to put her in a warm bath but she was barely holding herself up so I took her out. She was then feeling very limp. I now put her under her heat lamp and her head is resting down, she is very lethargic. This all happened within the span of 15 minutes. I am going to move from SF (San Francisco) to Tulsa around Dec. 10th, 2024, and want to avoid big city traffic/accident and snow. So, Los Angeles (CA), Flagstaff (AZ), Albuquerque (NM) would be avoided in my moving route. My concern is that US-95, AZ-85, US-70, and US-54 are good to drive? It seems that these have only two-lane roads and the pave conditions may not good as interstate highways.

 | The Icon of the Mother of God “Of the Sign”, depicts the Most Holy Theotokos with prayerfully uplifted hands, and the Divine Infant is at Her bosom in a mandorla (or sphere). This depiction of the Mother of God is regarded as one of the very first of Her iconographic images. In the mausoleum of Saint Agnes at Rome is a depiction of the Mother of God with hands raised in prayer with the Infant Christ sitting upon Her knees. This depiction is ascribed to the fourth century. There is also an ancient Byzantine icon of the Mother of God “Nikopea” from the sixth century, where the Most Holy Theotokos is depicted seated upon a throne and holding in Her hands an oval shield with the image of the Savior Emmanuel. Icons of the Mother of God, known as “The Sign”, appeared in Russia during the eleventh-twelfth centuries, and were so called because of a miraculous sign from the Novgorod Icon in the year 1170. In that year the allied forces of Russian appanage princes, headed by a son of Prince Andrew Bogoliubsky of Suzdal, marched to the very walls of Great Novgorod. For the people of Novgorod, their only remaining hope was that God would help them. Day and night they prayed, beseeching the Lord not to forsake them. On the third night Bishop Elias of Novgorod heard a wondrous voice commanding that the icon of the Most Holy Theotokos be taken out of the church of the Savior’s Transfiguration on Ilina street, and carried about on the city walls. When they carried the icon, the enemy fired a volley of arrows at the procession, and one of them pierced the iconographic face of the Mother of God. Tears trickled from Her eyes, and the icon turned its face towards the city. After this divine Sign an inexpressible terror suddenly fell upon the enemy. They began to strike one another, and taking encouragement from the Lord, the people of Novgorod fearlessly gave battle and won the victory. In remembrance of the miraculous intercession of the Queen of Heaven, Archbishop Elias established a feastday in honor of the Sign of the Mother of God, which the Russian Church celebrates to the present day. The Athonite hieromonk Pachomius the Logothete, who was present at the festal celebration of the Icon in Russia, composed two Canons for this Feast. On certain Novgorod Icons of the Sign, the miraculous occurrences of the year 1170 were also depicted. For 186 years afterwards, the wonderworking icon remained in the Savior-Transfiguration church on Ilina street. In 1356 it was transferred to a church built in Novgorod in honor of the Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos “of the Sign,” which became the cathedral church of the monastery of the Sign. Numerous copies of the Sign Icon are known throughout Russia. Many of them were also glorified by miracles in their local churches, and were then named for the place of the appearance of the miracle.
