Can anyone tell me if I am just a flat out moron for what I am thinking about doing? I want to sue my wife's work/hospital.
A year ago my wife ended up having a surgery at the hospital she works at. She works in sterile processing and cleans the medical equipment. When my wife started at the company she found many things to be different than her last hospital, but did not think much of it. Fast forward, she is now the director of the department and has found that they have major inadequacies in their process and are in her professional opinion endangering patients. When approaching decision makers they dismissed her claims. This combined with intentionally confusing billing and insurance practices, my wife and I are so underwater in medical we cant even believe we had insurance or worked at the hospital. They also despite being 501c apparently do not have any opportunities for low income individuals to get grants or financial aid.
So here is my thoughts, I am a director of finance at a small company, financially my wife and I will be fine, but I really think that their practices are just flat out dangerous for our community. That being said, I am not super keen on hiring a lawyer. This might just sound insane, but do you think this is possible to do without legal council? I am a fairly smart guy, but I know a lawyers favorite quote on this topic is "A Man Who Is His Own Lawyer Has a Fool for a Client." While I agree with this, I cannot escape the idea of taking on the man per say.

I did my undergrad at Davis and we were at least told that certain amounts of seats for impacted classes were reserved/conserved so that students with a later pass time would have a chance at getting in. I see a lot of posts here where people are worried about their late pass time and I am wondering if they are actually cooked or if CSUS does the same thing as Davis

Long story short finally got what seems like a diagnosis from my therapist and it’s PTSD. I honestly wasn’t prepared for it because I didn’t think I was traumatized anymore of like things affected me the way they did, but I guess so but still I didn’t really get the chance to fully explain everything I went through to her in the past four years because for the longest time I was sure I had HIV kept getting tested but would get negatives if immediately go to well it’s prob wrong
then I remember a moment for me where my sexuality became I guess a problem out of the blue in the past I just said I like what I like or I was bi or pansexual bi curious whatever and accepted thatbut then it came back up I was so scared I guess idk how to describe it but like a lot of emotions and they made me scared about being gay. Then I know for a fact real event false memory was something that came up HEAVY
And that had me in a chokehold for a long time took me to a really dark place. I know some things happen to me growin up and especially when I was around 17-19 probably the worst years.
I’m pretty sure something else happen but I can’t think of it I’m still stuck on the fact ptsd but at the same time I guess it kinda makes sense to me but idk
coming back to say I finally did some research on ptsd and how it can correlate with other things I guess I wonder if anyone else here has dealt with this or something similar or with your OCD did it develop due to trauma or am I seeming like I just to be diagnosed with it? Idk I’m trying not to loose my mind about this and kinda wrap my head around everything

I was programming a microcontroller (the STM32) for the first time and was using ground pins (GND) which makes sense. However, the board itself is not grounded (at least I don't think) so it must be sending that excess electricity to the laptop in which it is plugged in, but what does laptop do to ground this electricity? Where does it go? How do ICs ground themselves?

I just spent a week on your beautiful island and I think I fell in love with the place.
I am from an island also but in Ireland and something about Tenereife resonates with me.. I ran, surfed and listened to the musicians along coastline that strches all along the southern coast.
You live in a wonderful place which I think is evolving beyond a place people stereotypically come to drink at.. there was a much higher then usual level of healthy fit people then anywhere I have ever been!
I've downloaded duolingo so next time I come I can speak annoying broken Spanish.

2024.11.27 20:40 VTLLSTTAASLT I'm refinishing a dresser that was previously painted. I feel like I am almost ready to stain it but would like advice about some of the details. (Images included in post)
 | I'm a beginner and just looking for advice on how to finish prepping the wood and making the details look nice. I used CitriStrip gel to remove the paint from the dresser. I used a scraping tool and steel wool to remove the excess. After that I sanded down the larger surfaces working my way up to 220 and hand sanded the detailed parts. The surfaces look fine but the details don't look bare yet. I even bought a specialized tool to try and get into the details but it isn't very good. I have mineral spirits which I've used a couple times on the wood to try and clean it but the details don't look good, it just makes all the flaws stand out. My ultimate goal is to prep it, stain it with a dark color, and seal the wood. Any help is greatly appreciated!! I'm open to watching/reading any materials that can help me understand what to do next. Part of the details that I'm trying to sand It appears almost like there's a white cast What the wood looks like with mineral spirits, the spot can be sanded out I know but the curved part has been difficult.
