Thanks to the HUGE outpouring of support we received this past week(seriously y'all are amazing)we have been able to hand out turkeys to everyone who has come through, and we have some left!

Hey guys. Im a 20 year old woman and have been having trouble breathing, it’s really stressing me out because i always assume the worst. It started around june, however at this time it was still bearable, it was easily “fixable” and relatively rare. I think in august is where it all went downhill. I kept having frequent shortness of breath and a weird feeling in my throat, i have to inhale hard and kind of yawn to be able to breathe normally again. Sometimes it goes to the point where my throat and my chest hurt a lot because i’m doing it too much. I smoke and have smoked for years, but nothing ever happened, i’ve never had breathing problems before, asthma or anything related to that. In fact i’ve never had any big health issues and I don’t take any medication besides the plan b. I tried quitting cigs for a while to see if it helped, it did but it never went fully away. It’s always worse when i think about it, like if i’m distracted or having fun i usually breathe normally, which made me wonder if it could be anxiety related, but i’ve had anxiety, including panic attacks and i don’t feel like it’s quite the same. Truth is i’m freaking out and don’t really know what to do, can anyone help?

This morning I had a phone interview for an Administrative Assistant position and everything seemed to be going well, that was until the interviewer mentioned that having a car was mandatory, not for the any of the job duties, but that they didn't want to deal with people who didn't drive coming in late. I double checked the job posting after the interview and under requirements all it said was "Must live within a 30 minute commute)
I find it crazy that in this day in age with all the different options (ride share apps, carpool, transit) A company would reject someone if they didn't drive

2024.11.27 21:30 Ordinary-Patient-891 I feel so defeated
I just came here to vent. I took a shower this morning and got ready determined to get things done. I tell my husband we need to go to the store and pick up a few more things to make my Oreo pie for thanksgiving. I start feeling really tired and lethargic so I decide to just use what I have and hope for the best.
My heart rate has been really low today so I didn’t take my beta blocker. My beta blocker seems to make me run a slight temp like 99. I’m not sure what’s going on but I can tell you looking at my Fitbit my heart ranges from 32-133. That’s a big range and all I can say is the swings up and down are making me feel like garbage.
I’m gonna rest up today but tomorrow I have to do a lot of cooking so I may need to take a beta blocker and wear my compression socks.
I also was denied disability, denied unemployment (new job starts in two weeks I’m just whining) and nothing brings me joy. I got a new desk and pretty pink chair for my office. I’m like oh cool. I want to be so excited but I’m not. Ugh ok rant over. Please only encouragement. I can’t handle any more criticism or bad news. 😢
