As the title says I work for a small buisness in the construction and manufacturing industry
the closure is due to the owners being old enough they have had enough of the buisness (both owned and ran for 34 years)
My question is even with the minimum 4 weeks notice to me as an employee that they are closing do I need to give more than 1 weeks notice if I find a job, mind you I am trade qualified for 17 years, wont be hard to get a job in my industry.
I just can't find anything related to a closure of a buisness other than financial reasons.
I also would under normal circumstances give a minimum of 2 weeks notice if I was leaving.

Hey guys can anyone help. I recently bought a G29 and tried playing and everything worked perfectly fine and now today I tried steering but nothing happens. Every other button works and my pedals but not the steering. I tried assigning the controls to steer left and right and it won’t pick it up. Please if anyone can help out that would be great. You brought so much light into my life in those good moments—the way we laughed together, the adventures we shared, and the comfort of just being with you.

You deserved better than that. I know it now, and I’m working on those things. Not just for you, but for myself too. I wish I could have been the person you needed me to be when we were together.
I know now that I wanted us to heal together, but we weren’t in the same place. You needed freedom, space, and independence, and I needed reassurance and connection. I fought for us because I believed we could overcome anything, but I see now that I can’t make someone stay if their heart is somewhere else.
I’ve tried to move forward, but I still think about you every day. I wonder if you miss me, if you ever reflect on the love we shared, or if it’s been easier for you to let go. It’s hard to reconcile the person who called me his everything with the one who now feels so far away. Seeing you flirt and connect with others, while I’m left with the memories of what we had, has been one of the hardest parts of all.

Tyler, I hope you know that no matter how things ended, you meant the world to me. Our relationship shaped me in ways I’m only beginning to understand. You made me stronger, even in the pain, and I’ll carry the love I felt for you with me always.

I have a Dyson v7 and the battery just does t last long enough and we had to replace the battery already after 3yrs.
We have a Mii robovacs that also has a kind of mopping feature. This was ok, not great especially at mopping, and started having battery issues even sooner than the Dyson.
What do people recommend? Would love:
Cordless vacuum: - have a good battery life - stick vacuum - strong suction - longevity of product
Robovac: - good battery life - a good mopping function - not awwwful mapping functions - strong suction - longevity of product
Obviously reaching for the stars! But drop any recommendations you have.

Hello!
Due to the ATH I just used the “swap” function on the Ledger Desktop App from swapping to Btc to USDC (Polygon).
I do not have any Polygon account on it or USDC, it made me make a new one when I chose the currency. Unfortunately it’s been 30 minutes and I’m not seeing any of it, nor I can see any USDC account on my ledger page.
Did I just f*ckd my life up or should I just wait some more hours?

I’ve never been Catholic but my grandma and dad were. My dad left and became a Baptist before I was ever born. So I have no knowledge of anything - except I listen to the Pray the Rosary on Hallow every night as I fall asleep.
My grandma’s name was Maria. She died 5 years ago. Devout European Catholic through and through. The handful of us at her graveside service sang Ave Maria.
I would like to incorporate the script “Ave Maria” in remembrance of both my grandma and the comforting prayer in a full sleeve tattoo I’m getting - but I’m worried it may be offensive.
Can someone please advise?

Thought I’d share pictures of my family sauna in SE AK. Built it for about $2500- most of that was the stove and getting it here on a landing craft and packages of cedar slats. The rest was mostly scrap material from other projects and some old boards I found under the house. Still a work in progress and always a mess- I blame that on the kids. I like this bench layout for our use.
