2024.11.28 00:30 TheAgame1342YT Decent GPU for an Optiplex 7040 SSF
I've kind of been looking around here and there, but I can't really find any helpful information. I really need a GPU for this thing that works for me. I dabble in blender and video editing, Valve titles (TF2, CSGO, things like that), and some SFM. I'm a teenager, so I do have a budget of $100. I'm resorting to this because I literally cannot find a straight answer, let alone an answer that isn't the length of the Bible with funny GPU words that don't make sense to somebody like me (I have less experience in hardware). I would prefer an Nvidia card, but I'm open to AMD.... maybe. I have literally no point of reference because the only dedicated GPU I've ran was a GTX 950m in an acer laptop (Yes I ran intigrated before that). So yea, any help would be appreciated at all.

I love this season. It’s in my opinion so much better than one. For a few reasons, I hated cruise in one. I love cruise in this season. This season is much more violent intense then season one was. So, I’m someone who follows the rules and makes an effort to respect others. This evening, I stopped at the LCBO to grab a few things. I picked up a case of Twisted Teas for my girlfriend and her friends for tomorrow night, as well as three JD Rye and Coke cans for myself. Since I have a bad wrist, I asked my 18-year-old son to carry the cans for me.
At the checkout, I put the case on the counter, and my son placed the three cans down and walked past me. The cashier asked him if he was 19, and he honestly said no, he’s 18. She scanned the Twisted Teas, but then put the three cans under the counter, saying I couldn’t buy them because he wasn’t of age. I explained that the cans were for me, not him, and that I asked him to carry them because of my wrist. She insisted I go back and get three new ones, but I decided to leave them instead.
What really bothered me was her lecturing me about parents buying alcohol for their kids and saying I should’ve used a cart if I couldn’t carry everything. I kept calm, thanked her, and left.
I understand the rules are in place to prevent underage drinking, but I felt judged and assumed to be doing something wrong. I wasn’t drunk, didn’t imply I was buying for my son, and even had a wrist brace on. I just wanted to save time since I work out of town and was spending time with my son after being away for a week.
Was I wrong here? I know she had the right to refuse the sale, but it felt unfair considering the context.
