A lot of PLA was extruded but never made it out the nozzle. My questions: -I know I can click the "Replace PLA" or whatever that button is and it'll extrude it backwards a tiny bit, but is there any way to take out a lot at once, like to stretch out those two cylindrical things that hold the PLA? -Next to my finger, you may notice the tape at the end of the part that would usually secure the piping to the extruder. I was previously aware of this problem; tape did the job for 2 prints. I know a little blue "c" shaped plastic piece is meant to hold it in place, but mine didn't work at all. Is there any solution that you guys are aware of? I know I could superglue that thing, but what if I need to replace it? Or maybe I shouldn't need to worry about that... 2024.11.28 02:39 Adorable_Nerve_7756 AIO for being upset with someone over a stray cat?
I (22f) live in an apartment complex/dorm building near a colony of about 30 or so stray cats that like to hang out by a small, seemingly inactive building. Often, on my way to classes, I would swing by the parking lot and say hello. There's this little orange cat no older than 6 months that will walk right up to you and let you pet him, and I visited him often. I named him Banjo. I felt a connection, but knew I couldn't take him with me since I'm a broke college student living with a dorm. After a few weeks of this, I found out that the owner of the building's daughter has been coming by once a day to feed them, and she's been trying to get as many of them fixed as she can, including Banjo. We exchanged numbers and I offered to help out with coming by and feeding them and such, since it's a huge task for one person.
Later, I tell my mom about Banjo, and she says we should take him and bring him back to my hometown, which is about 3 hours away. I told my mom I'd like to talk to the woman taking care of them, as I'm sure she would be heartbroken if the friendliest cat of the colony disappeared without any notice.
The next day I went to talk to her and she seemed a little sad, but she understands and was happy he would be getting a home instead of the streets. She asked to send him off when my parents got him, and I told her I would coordinate to make that happen. We decided on Sunday. We exchanged phone numbers, with the understanding that I would keep her updated on the cat's travels and house cat life. My family would be up in the weekend to take him, as they were already going to be in town. She told me he was fixed, and had all of his vaccination papers that she would release to me.
Fast forward to a few days after this interaction, the cat goes missing. I was worried something happened to him, as I hadn't seen him where he usually is in over 24 hours. I texted the lady to see if she had seen him, and she said she had put him inside the building since it was cold and wet. She said he was getting the sniffles, and there was probably a piece of grass stuck in his nose.
The next day (Friday), she tells me she isn't going to let me take him because she was having a hard time saying goodbye and had gotten attached. I asked her why she hasn't taken him in if she's attached, and she says she has this dog that's older, and she would be leaving him inside the building until the dog passes away.
I haven't said anything confrontational to her except for that, but I feel I might be an asshole in even being upset about it, because she's poured so much money into these animals that I think she should have some sort of say.

I want to buy 3 items on Mercari through Zen market. I see the cost of 3 items plus 3 fees (one per item). So it says in a few days I'll get the quote of the more money to pay them for the second shipping charge.
B I don't see any mention of what that second shipping will cost me though - or even an estimate?!?
Is there anyway to know? This is only three keychains from Mercari (all 3 from same seller) and they equal over $70 as is already.
So, I could buy them in America for $110 so I'm just trying to determine which is the best option.

I'm making a custom Subclass for a friend that essentially a monster-tamer / a mush of Drakewarden and Beast Tamer, so you can get for than one beast and you tame them instead of just summon them.
Well, one of the features is that you can tame more than just beasts. I like the idea of being able to tame other creatures like dragons and such, but idk which creature types to include in the list or if I should make a list of creatures that CANT be tamed instead of one's that can.

I’m almost 30, and I can't leave the house without my dad’s permission. If I ever do, it’s like hell at home. I have a gym membership, but I’m not allowed to go because he thinks I might meet a man there.
I’m not allowed to marry someone of my own choice either. If I even talk about it, he threatens to leave the family. The only option I have is to marry a man he chooses for me in Pakistan.
The only way I can leave the house is if I’m working or if I go out with my mom and sister. I have no freedom to make friends or even meet people. All of my high school friends are married and have kids, and I’m still stuck at home, under constant stress. Recently, I got laid off from my job, and now I feel like I can’t go anywhere. I don’t know what to do anymore. Sometimes, it feels like life isn’t worth living if it’s going to be like this.
My mom has tried to help me find a way out, like getting me married, but my dad won’t even meet with potential families or talk about it. She makes countless excuses to try and get me out, but she’s so scared of his anger—he yells and swears at her—that she ends up asking me to cancel my plans. I feel trapped, suffocated, and as if my mind can’t function anymore.
What do I do?

My fantasy (with romance) WIP takes place a few generations after the creation of the world and birth of humanity. The Gods who formed the world are key characters. Several of the Gods cannot reproduce, but have found ways to create subsequent generations.
The bird God (essentially a pheonix) creates two new pheonixes by cleaving his soul and power. The FMC is a 4th generation Goddess, who was born during a fatal attack on a 3rd gen God. In the chaos, she is taken and raised by a human devotee, who becomes the chief of a growing village. The FMC's counterpart (MMC) is rescued from the ashes and raised by two 3rd gen. pheonixes (two halves of a 2nd gen. whole).
The story follows the FMC (who is raised as a human priestess) as she travels through the God Lands to rescue the chief's daughter. She meets the MMC who offers to help her on her journey, but is really trying to reawakened the dormate Goddess soul inside of her. They had a fated mates/soul mate type attraction that slowly develops into a romance.
I recently worried that their origin makes them too much like siblings.
This is actually a reworked and simplified version of what I originally had, and it makes so much more sense. I have tried making the FMC the original God (along with 6 other bird Gods), but having multiple bird Gods didn't fit with the origin of the other Gods. I also thought about adding more generations, but I need them to be as close to the start of the world as possible. I also intended for the FMC to have already lived several lives, each one having various types of relationships with MMC, but hit a hole with how she was reborn as a human. It can work, but was a bit convoluted.
What are your thoughts? As it currently is, would you think of these characters as siblings?

The title sort of says it all. I honestly don’t mind who texts me I don’t discriminate at all. The truth is I have been going through a lot over the past like year ish. I mean , honestly the last few years haven’t been good but stuff really hasn’t gone well for me this past year. I really just want a friend as I don’t have any. My mental situation is pretty bad and I am sort of stuck. I have a ton of interests and I’m pretty mature (or at least I’m told that) I’m interested in history, sports, fitness and cooking.
