I just can't seem to find the drive to go to school, clean up my place, or get my work done. It's like I've got zero motivation or discipline because no one ever taught me how to have it. All I want to do is chill in bed forever, maybe occasionally go out with friends, have some drinks, and just not care. My energy is totally zapped, and it feels like my shot at university or a decent job is slipping away, but at the same time, I can’t bring myself to care anymore. Having to explain why I'm not doing what I'm supposed to at work or sixth form is the worst, and it’s just another reason for skipping out completely. The only reason I show up at work is for the paycheck to fund my activities. Maybe I'm just super lazy or dealing with some kind of depression? I'm not insecure or anything, just totally unmotivated, even though I know no one else is going to rescue me.

me(18f) have been friends with my friend (18m) since 2019. we have had a pretty strong bond nonetheless. last year during October, he started dating a girl from our class and grew pretty distant with me, which I considered as very normal and didn't take it personally. but soon he started being really rude with me. often saying humiliating things Infront of other classmates. it got to a point where after he screamed at me or said harsh stuff, my classmates would come to me and ask if I was okay. when I came into class, I would just sit behind him and his gf(20f) who was just a really sweet girl who wanted to make sure I didn't feel left out. I obviously gave them their space and mostly hung out with other classmates. they broke up recently and he became somewhat normal with me again. that was until I told him that I was talking to my ex again. he said "I don't want to be friends with you anymore" on my face and hasn't talked or replied to my texts since then. now ill tell you about this ex of mine. my ex (19m) cheated on me 6 months ago, into a 1 month relationship. the relationship wasn't serious but i did take it quite harshly at that time. we hadn't been in contact for 5 months and he texted me a month back saying he relized his mistake and if it's okay if we can start over. obviously i had hoped for him to realize his mistakes and genuinely change for the better (I didn't tell him all that). we aren't back together in any way or form, and we won't be for a while since I have my boards coming up and he has his business to handle. I made it very clear that I don't want to be involved in a relationship of any sort for another year or so.
back to my friend. I don't understand why he reacted like this when I said I'm talking to my ex again (not in a getting back sense). I never made my relationship his problem, nor did I trauma dump on him about my problems. I had dealt with all of my problems on my own and never even told him I was having a bad day or whatsoever so I don't understand why I had been given an ultimatum. my friend is very special to me even tho he has been treating me like filth for the past year, I just thought we would grow out of it. he still hasn't replied to any of my texts or picked up my calls. he doesn't even look at me at class. I don't know what's happening. for now I just feel like he just wants the best for me but then again all his shitty behavior throughout the past year makes me laugh at his entitlement.
should I try to talk to my friend?? what should I even say??

2024.11.28 05:30 chicago-vices Thumbs down to Kasama (for Breakfast and Lunch, Dont know about dinner). Good food + meh experience
So after two recent experiences at Kasama - I am giving it a thumbs down. The food is good but the experience not much. It has simply become too popular. After standing in queue for a bit the choice at Lunch is limited and honestly there is too much rice, chicken is v good but you can get comparable chicken without the queue. Sausage is good too but comparable /better stuff out there. Mushroom is not all that good. Perhaps the $ 400 tasting menu is better experience - but for breakfast and dinner - the crowds need to go down before I venture there again. Breakfast croissant and other pastries are good too but not worth the queue.
