I do this not because it is grammatically incorrect, but because it is more aesthetically pleasing. The overuse of the word "that" is a hallmark of lazy speech. Indeed, if avoiding these instances causes you to think outside the box, your speech and writing will become more fresh and creative as a result. +1 It doesn't seem that old-fashioned in the negative. Google Ngrams shows "need not" is still used much more often than either "needs not" and "does not need to". For the regular verb, you can see from the Ngram that "does not need to" is slowly replacing "needs not". – TL;DR: "or not" is never required if the alternative is a simple negation of the stated proposition, but an "or" clause is required in, say, "You must choose whether to write novels or poems" (presupposing that you're obliged to write something, and that writing, say, software is not an option currently on offer). "not uncommon" is not necessarily the same as common. Compare the following examples: 1-0 is a common final score in soccer (it happens all the time) 8-7 is an uncommon final score in soccer (it rarely happens) 5-0 is not an uncommon final score in soccer (it doesn't happen all the time, but it's not rare either). You can certainly say . . . it's not OK to not learn from them. However, bear in mind that there are still people around who mistakenly believe that such a construction is a split infinitive and should be avoided. 2024.11.28 07:54 Kannus Computer freezes and restarts when RAM is under heavy load
 | I recently purchased two additional Kingston Fury beast ddr4 3600mhz RAM sticks 2x8GB. I set XMP. Everything worked fine until I launched Escape from Tarkov on high textures. I know this game is a miracle of optimization, but I wanted to test how it would work. At the end of loading into the raid, the computer froze and after about 30 seconds it restarted itself. A friend of mine suggested that maybe the xmp profile causes the motherboard to be unable to power the RAM cubes and have a problem with voltage. I tested all profiles and the problem happend again. When I completely disabled xmp the same problem occurred. I looked into the SWAP memory settings and noticed that they were only set to 4 GB. I set them to 16 GB. The game was already shutting down by itself at that point, not the computer. I wonder if it could be a SWAP memory problem or not. I was worried by the fact that I didn't get any BSOD.I left the stability test in occt on the ram running overnight. The 6th test did not show any problem. Could SWAP be the problem? I recently submitted my UC application applying to UCB, UCLA, UCI, and UCSD under business econ/business admin. However after some realization, I realize I’m more interested in pursuing data science/statistics and wanted to consider switching my business major if accepted. On my application, I did list data science as an alternative major for all schools. Additionally, I do have all Assist prerequisites and some recommended courses completed/in progress for both data science and business. Considering I’ve invested a great amount of my time already into applying for business, I am still going to see what happens. Furthermore, I am curious what I could do once I’m accepted, especially for schools such as UCB and UCLA.

My 4 year old staffordshire/pitbull mix has skin issues that have been continuously getting worse. about a year ago she had an outbreak of flaky skin, and lost a patch of hair on her side that never grew back. I’ve taken her to the vet- the answer is always allergies. I’ve asked for a skin scrape and bacteria test while making the appointment, and i keep getting brushed off and told allergies. shes gotten allergy shot, allergy medication, three recommended supplements, 2-3 recommended sprays/shampoos, changed her food, shes on a combo of nexgard and frontine, etc. i feel like ive tried everything under the sun- but a few days ago her whole body (not exaggerating) broke out in a bunch of circular hive-like crusty lesions. I brushed her and all of the sudden she has hair loss patched all down her back. I found horrible scabs/hotspots on her tummy by her vaginal area. she so itchy and seems so sad and looks at me like shes pleading for help, and i don’t know what to do. the first pic is the patch of hair that was lost about a year ago and never grew back, and the pics after are more current. does anyone have any suggestions or has seen anything like this?

Laying or sitting on the ice angers the hockey gods and just looks bad. Ice time is precious so it needs to be treated with respect.

Ever since my wife bought me a smoker, I've not made a dry turkey. Wasn't able to take pics of the whole process cause of kids running around. But i started with a stick of butter under the breast and, a coating of Dijon mustard and fire and smokes super bird. For the injection, I did melted butter, the same seasoning and beer. On the smoker with cherry wood chunks at 225. Every 30-45 minutes, I added new chunks as well as basted with same mix as the injection....just without butter cause we ran out. After 5 hours, she came off and I couldn't help sneaking in a few taste test
