Es gibt da etwas was ich nicht verstehe und gern eure Meinung zu wissen würde.
Ich lese immer wieder, dass auf die Pseudoargumente gegen Kommunismus/Sozialismus(weil Leute die so argumentieren dies gerne synonym verwenden, im folgenden werde ich nur Sozialismus verwenden), dass alle Sozialistischen Staaten gescheitert sind oder keine guten Lebensbedingungen bieten, gesagt wird, dass dies aufgrund der Angriffe der Kapitalistischen Staaten sowie des Redscares so ist (natürlich vereinfacht. Manches geschieht auch aufgrund von Revisionismus, verzeiht falls es das Falsche Wort ist; ich hoffe es ist klar was ich meine).
Nun hier die Frage. Meines Verständnisses nach ist eines der Kernthemen des Sozialismus den Kapitalismus zu überwinden und zu bekämpfen, um irgendwann einen Kommunistischen Staat entstehen zu lassen.
Wenn nun aber der Kampf gegen den Kapitalismus im Kern des Sozialismus liegt, wie kann dann das Scheitern beziehungsweise die unangenehmen Lebensbedingungen Schuld des Kapitalismus sein, wenn es an sich ein Kampf um das stärkere Systems ist.
Ist in diesen Fällen nicht im Endeffekt der Sozialismus wirklich ein System welches nicht funktioniert, da der Kampf gegen den Kapitalismus im Kern des Sozialismus liegt, und die Unfähigkeit in diesem Kampf gut zu funktionieren für die Unfähigkeit des Systems steht?
Wo ist hier mein Denkfehler. Dem kann doch so nicht sein. (Verzeiht falls es schwer zu lesen ist, bin kein sonderlich guter Schreiber)

My question is because of this. Whilst most non-Muslims in general that do not live in an Islamic country can't really differenciate a Sunni from a Shia or Ibadi -unless you're very well educated- this can also be explain by the fact that Islam is pretty uniform. The differences are very difficult to grasp for the untrained eye.
But the difference between branches of Christianity are much much wide. Aesthetically, ritually, visually, doctrinally, etc., is very obvious -at least to me- who is Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox etc. by just looking at (I'm not Christian). But most Islamic literature I read speak of Christians in general terms, seldom doing a difference between the different churches.
So I wonder if is the same effect and all Christians are seen as similar with minor differences or Muslims do see a difference between say a Lutheran and a Catholic but is not often written down.

Hello! I (19f) have been watching financial audit for a month or so now and it has made me really question if I am as well off as I thought. I recently moved to a new city and in the process drained my savings of 6,000 dollars (mostly apartment related stuff and trying to survive for a month and a half unemployed) and have been working to build up my savings again. It so far has not worked out and I've been basically paycheck to paycheck. Thankfully! I am a credit card person and never go onto financial situations that I can't cash fund and that is why I have picked up a part time job that I start soon. Even though I'll be working 60 hours a week I'll barley have 800 dallors left over every month after necessities and I have expenses back-logged that I have been putting off until I can afford them. My problem is even though I layed out a pretty detailed budget I still find myself making impulse purchases with what little I have and I fear that it will catch up to me one day if I ever have an emergency. I have health insurance, pet insurance, car insurance and working on renters insurance but if I get in a crash tomorrow I don't think that I'd be able to afford to fix it. Does anyone have any advice how to stop the impulse purchases of food/games/bs Taquitos? I could spend all day repeating to myself that I won't buy anything but then it comes time to got to work and I'm too tired to pack a lunch and end up buying food at work or I boot up my game and see a new character I want or whatever and I just no thought buy it. If I could just stop the want for the thing before I buy it than it leaves my mind and it's fine but I almost always just mindlessly swipe my card. I also i have a hard time saying no to my girlfriend when she says that she wants to go out to eat somewhere because its usually only once a month and she is really pushing herself with being a full time biochemistry student and working part-time. Also I do have a high yield savings that I transfer anything extra to but it has yet to reach above 1000 and i have not started anything towards retirement. I want to have an emergency fund and save up a down payment for a house eventually but it just seems like it will be well over 10 years before i would reach that. For my area and not having a highschool diploma i make pretty decent money and i dont think there is any possibility of upgrading my income without some investment into education. Also no I cannot afford therapy and I have anxiety around talking to a therapist because the last time I went they made me more anxious and depressed than I was before. It might be worth mentioning that when I was in therapy I was diagnosed with a Dissociative disorder which makes me feel like I'm not really present or in reality sometimes. Kinda like watching your life through a TV screen and this could be a big reason for my impulsiveness as I may not be thinking about the real world consequences of my actions when I'm in these 'trances'

The funny thing for me is that I'm not from America, I'm from the PAL region. And that's still the first sentence on the back of the box. I just find it hilarious that Nintendo would market this game to us Europeans by boasting how it's the pride and joy of a Country that none of us live in.
Yes, I know that baseball is extremely unpopular in Europe, and yes Mario Superstars Baseball is possibly the rarest Mario game to be released in the PAL region. But it still won't be funny to me. Do I have a lame sense of humour?............. yes.

This morning when I was giving my student some English lessons, I found this Spider chilling on a broom. I captured him/her and put the spider into a small nilon bag and brought it home. I put the spider on a dead branch to let him feel less stressed after a long drive. These photos are what I witnessed after a few hours.

2024.11.28 10:56 akabayashimizuki Does anyone have advice for getting over paralysis after so many rejections?

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post because everyone is struggling, but I feel really lost and like I have to do something.
I'm 31, and I feel like my confidence and ability to get an offer has become worse than it was when I had no work experience at all. I sometimes get interviews, and have often got to the final stages, completed the presentations and other tasks they've sent, only to get the old "we decided to go with other candidates." No other feedback.
The problem I'm having at the moment is that I become sort of paralysed when I try to update my CV because I get so many rejections upfront with no feedback that I don't know what I'm doing wrong, and I just don't see the point. I do have ADHD and a history of burnout and depression, so I guess that'c contributing to it. I know logically the only way I can get a job is to apply for jobs. And I do have a career history of working in large organisations and working my way to leading large teams, so it's not like I'm completely useless. But for some reason I'm at a point where I can no longer update my CV at all because I just seem to get rejections even if I take hours to tailor my CV and use chat GPT (but don't paste blindly from it). Sometimes this has even happened when I apply for jobs I'm overqualified for. I feel like I'm just doing the same thing over and over with no results, no feedback or lessons learned, and it's like the definition of madness. And every rejection has just reinforced the belief that it's a waste of time.
I get that the job market is bad at the moment and I just have to get on with it. I guess what I'm asking for is how do I get past this paralysis and get into a rhythm of just tailoring and applying instead of just getting completely paralysed and feeling like everything I do is wrong, and end up doing nothing? This is specifically at the tailoring CV/submitting stage. I browse and bookmark jobs every day, make notes, sometimes even feel pretty optimistic about certain roles, but when I actually pick one to work on it's like my brain just dies.
I've used Chat GPT for advice and I have shortlisted jobs, have broken the tasks down into small steps, but then when I try to work on them the paralysis happens, because my brain is like "this didn't work all the other times so how is it going to work now?"
TLDR: Got to a point where I feel completely paralysed when trying to apply for jobs after so many rejections - does anyone have advice for pushing through this feeling? Advice, books, resources, tough love, I'd welcome anything. TIA.
