I just woke up from a nap and had this very realistic dream. It's about me watching a movie.
There's an eccentric character (he looks like the guy in the Lighthouse, but not the Twilight guy) that always in a suit that lives in a house without electricity, only with a lamp. That house has no furniture either. The main character being challenged to find the lamp.
At the end, it revealed that the lamp is a giant pink wax in a shape of Leonardo DiCaprio's head.
The dream didn't reveal how or where the MC found the lamp, because the next time, that dream move to a life hack about how to get rid of a bug from your house.
So please, tell me, is this movie real or somehow related to any movie? Any reference? I'm dying to know😭

hi!
i’m (26) looking to buy an apartment in sydney by myself and i’m wondering if it’s a bad idea to borrow the maximum amount? i have around 180k saved for a deposit and my broker has said i could borrow up to 535k (110k base salary).
i’m looking at the 650-700k range (with a 20% deposit) and would like to purchase a home i can live in for the next 5 years (needs to be spacious).
i think i calculated that if i borrow at my maximum capacity, around 45% of my post tax salary will be going towards the mortgage. i think what gives me peace of mind is that i receive shares from work (which i sell as soon as i receive them) - last financial year was 20k and this wasn’t included in my income for the borrowing calculation.
so technically my income is higher than want that bank used. also, i have HECS atm but that’ll be paid off in 2 years which will increase my take home salary.
i have no plans for kids in the future either.
is this a bad idea?

I recently had an ultrasound for a kidney infection, but before we knew it was a kidney infection, the sonographer was taking a look at my lower abdominal organs for a possible source of my discomfort. She seemed very happy about my liver, and said with a grin "your liver looks good! It has a lovely texture", with heavy emphasis on the word "lovely". Now this surprised me enormously if truth be told; I'm 35 and have drank almost a bottle of wine a night, almost every night, for about 10 years. I understand that the liver is a robust little fella, but I was honestly not expecting this compliment. What could "lovely texture" mean? Could she have just meant that there's no scarring? I would love to see an image of a "lovely textured" liver vs a not-so-lovely textured one.

One night I turn it off. And as soon as I turn it on again there is no screen output (even when using secondary screen). When using the power cable, it lets me turn it on, the keyboard lightsup and the on button as well, yet no screen output. When the cable is diconnected, it immedeatly shuts down. (This is probably, due to not recognising the battery (the amber light flashes quickly))
What I've tried: Unplug cmos and battery and then hold the power button to release static electricity buildup. Reseat the ram. test every ramstick.

Top and bottom row are Not quite sure if I did this correctly, but I soldered some Akko V3 Matcha Green Pro linear switches on this keyboard and since the switches were already pre-lubed to begin with, they sounded super good from the get-go. I then applied a tape mod on the PCB, added some foam tape inside the case, and added another layer of normal tape on top of the foam tape. Now for some reason, the top and bottom row have a deep thock sound, while the middle rows are clacking like normal.
I can understand the top row having a thock sound due to it having the most empty space between its location in the pcb and the case, but I find it interesting that the bottom row is also in the same boat.
Also just wanted to mention that it's my first time to actually mod a keyboard before, as I usually just used other boards from the get-go.

Hello again 😆
A few days ago I made a post asking for reasons why Bitcoin was a bad investment. Well you all gave me a bunch of reasons and links to go through. I've been reading non stop since, on the bus and at home, and yeah I think you were right, it's all a big Ponzi scheme / pump and dump. I'm a bit sad but you gave me a bunch of other options to look at investment wise so thank you 🙂
So how long do you all think bitcoin is going to last ? If it's used mainly for criminal activity, then it could go on for a while. The business of crime is booming.
Also there's the gambling aspect of Bitcoin. Reading through the crypto subreddits, it truly feels like a lot of people are addicted. The rush of the market fluctuations, the promise of incredible wealth as long as you keep gambling, sorry I mean investing 😝 it's all a big casino.
We all know the house always wins, but people keep showing up at Vegas all the time. Do you think these factors will have any impact on bitcoins longevity ?
