First of all...thank you to all the people working hard on this game to give me that great experience. I'm on series x and I live this game so much. Played three days long now and I'm about 30h. In story I'm now on the old ship base. I'm always reading, that game gets buggy after 20h. When will I reach that point? I have nearly not a single bug. Just one time a npc wasn't holding a bottle while talking to him.

Okay, I know everybody has been complaining about soup, but I only started the game recently (before the update that killed the game, I suppose) and always just put three ducks with three different parts of the same set (one duck with the right head, one with the right body, one with the right wing) into the soup, and expect my new, fully-formed, completed duck to pop out. Simple right?
WRONG.
For some reason, out of the past 4 soup eggs I have gotten, 2 have been chaos eggs, EVEN WHEN I HAD ALL THE PARTS!!! "The gods forgot the blessing" and "spilled soup on their tie" is funny if it happened OCCASIONALLY and not EVERY OTHER TIME I THROW DUCKS IN SOUP. I didn't pay for perma-soup, so I have to wait 24 hours with a full nest of ducks waiting for something to happen so I can get back to breeding and duck-offs, but I'm really losing steam. I already lost my Black Guard and King ducks to this garbage mechanic and stupid luck and I'm ready to throw this game into the uninstall folder.
Or maybe I'm over-reacting and it's just that my RNG sucks and this is just normal, average, soup behaviour. I had maybe 10 soup eggs total, and 2/10 failures isn't as bad as I make it out to be. But did they really have to be basically back to back?
There has to be some innuendos in here but I'm too tired and frustrated to capitalize on them.

2024.11.28 12:39 soosis Discovering the manual button is like early Christmas
I tried full manual, but it was a bit tedious for me, so I went back to level 1 pass, and basic shoot. But I just realised that there is a button (L2 on alternate) that can change any pass/shot to manual.
Man that changed the game for me. It opened up so many new options it's insane. So far I mostly use it for crosses, since the assisted one sends it to a place where the enemy ai can easily predict and defend. I already had some very cool goals from it.
Using manual trough balls with some speedy wingers to send them running faster is also very fun.
So far the only thing I can't really find a use for is the manual shooting. Every time I try to use it and miss I think using the basic one would have been a goal here. What are some situations to consider using it over basic shoot?
