Has anyone had experience with a family member in a coercive relationship, cut off from all family, children, parents etc, financially abused? Just like puppet master on Netflix.
The man is very slippery, narcissistic and wiggles his way out of legal situations (has done in the past.) so fighting it is a daunting prospect.
I have spoken with police who said I cannot get any information under ‘Clare’s Law’ as I am not the person in the relationship however they said i would be right in doing so if family member wanted info. (He has history of domestic violence but family member is in denial)
I know he is dangerous, manipulative and emotionally abusive….. I have been victim of his abuse myself.
Family member is isolated and extremely delusional in believing his promises of a luxury life, living on a yacht, owning billion pound companies whilst living in a studio flat & living off food from food banks with hardly any money.
It is heartbreaking and I’ve had enough. It’s been 10 years.
Having a relationship with family member is hard because she is so delusional and truly believes this is her whole family’s fault rather than his. I am often criticised for being the problem because I don’t ‘respect’ him.
He has manipulated and isolated her. She is missing out on her children’s lives and any normality or livelihood. No friends, no job, nothing.
He owes people thousands of pounds. He’s under investigation, got debt collectors after him and is constantly running away from hotels etc without paying (not cheap ones either).
I have spoken with therapists and researched everything over and over again. It it just cruel that people like this get away with it and I don’t know what to do. I have avoided doing anything for so long out of fear and every time I confront the situation I am faced with abuse, or threats.
Whole family has given up on her, but I just wonder if there is any hope of it getting better for her & enjoying life again.
Sounds awful but I often fantasize about him dying just so she can catch a break & smell the coffee once and for all.
Any advice welcome. Thank you.

Am looking to buy a card valued around $60, but i noticed some sellers sell the card along with the full art cards of its pre-evolutions for $70 as a set.
I asked one seller why, but they just stopped responding, lol.
Anyone know why sellers might sell a set for $70, when each the final evo card is $60, and the pre-evos are each $10-$30 each?

For three nights in a row, I’ve been haunted by the same recurring nightmare. Each time, it’s slightly different, yet eerily interconnected, like I’m unraveling a story I can’t quite finish. I wake up at exactly 3:20 AM every time, heart racing, unable to shake the vivid imagery.
It always begins the same way: I’m driving alone up a mountain road. Dense green forests line the sides, and there’s an unsettling stillness in the air. No other cars, no people—just me, my car, and this mountain. I park on a steep hill and step out. I’m here to meet someone who lives further up the mountain, but to get there, I have to follow a path.
Night One
The first night, the path was unlike anything I’d ever seen—straight and narrow, a boardwalk suspended high in the air without railings. One misstep, and I’d plummet into the abyss. The wind was ferocious, whipping around me as if it were trying to push me off. I nearly lost my balance, and when I looked down, I saw something chilling—a moss-covered, decrepit house with three windows on its roof. It looked fragile, as if a fall would send me crashing straight through it. I never reached the other side, nor did I fall. The dream ended there.
Night Two
The second night, the path was different—this time, a winding road stretched ahead of me. Again, I was completely alone. As I walked, my feet suddenly started moving faster. I couldn’t stop running, though strangely, I didn’t feel tired. Eventually, I reached a worn-down house blocking the road. An old woman stood in front of it. I asked her how to get to the other side, and she silently led me through her dimly lit kitchen.
On the other side of her house, the path continued, but everything around me began to dissolve into darkness. A single lamppost stood ahead. I ran toward it, but the closer I got, the more the world seemed to vanish. If I turned back toward the old house, the path behind me closed in. Caught between disappearing into the abyss and retreating to nothingness, I pulled out my phone, its flashlight the only source of light, and then I woke up.
Night Three
The third night brought a strange sense of familiarity. This path felt different—peaceful. Sunlight filtered through the trees, and for the first time, I felt calm. I finally made it to the house I had been trying to reach. A family welcomed me warmly. I didn’t know them, but it felt like I belonged. We talked about mundane things—school, life—but their presence was soothing.
As the sky darkened and rain threatened to fall, I said my goodbyes. They showed me the way back to my car, but as soon as I was alone, I forgot the path. Panic set in as I wandered aimlessly, desperate to beat the darkness. Finally, I stumbled upon my car. Relieved, I unlocked it and started to drive away.
But as I left, a gnawing feeling consumed me—I’d left someone behind. Unable to ignore it, I turned the car around and drove back up the hill. And then I woke up
