 | My retaining wall is collapsing in one spot and most of it aren’t straight or flat. Whats the best option especially considering there’s a few feet from trees. I plan on eventually hiring someone and want to know the best options. I also plan to replace my driveway so any suggestions on which I should do first is greatly appreciated. I have been going through a breakup for about almost 5 months now. For the first couple of months we were still talking and being friendly and I would be there for her. Eventually I decided I could not do that because she ended things with me when the problems were fixable. Since then it has been hell. The past 3 months have been some of the most challenging of my life.
I do not know how to move forward. I do yoga, journal, run, and have been eating healthier. I need to watch my drinking and stop again (I stopped the first month of the breakup because I needed to sit with my feelings and process stuff). I know that the only way to come out of this is to process this. The good. The bad. The ugly.
The thing is though, I’ve never been messed up this bad by a breakup before in my life. I’m 31 and I’ve had a couple serious relationships. Sure they hurt, but this was has completely broken me as a person. I have zero confidence. My self worth is absolutely shot. I don’t believe in myself (I started a new job 2 months ago and it’s been incredibly tough to be myself).
And the more I talk with my therapist every week, I realize that I think this is because this relationship was so tied to what I’ve been going through the past couple years. A couple years ago I was diagnosed with a medical problem that changed my life and destroyed my confidence and made me question who I was as a person.
I’ve worked so hard to get back to being good and who I want to be as a person. When I got into this relationship, I felt hope again. I felt like there was a chance at a real future.
And then the rug was pulled from underneath my feet. Sure there was stuff I could have done better, but I’ve worked so hard to be a better partner and more attentive and listening. I’ve never been more honest and vulnerable with someone.
So I kind of just realized that this breakup has brought back all of that trauma from when I got diagnosed. I don’t blame her or hate her because she had to do what she had to do. But the reality is that her breaking up with my has brought back so many old, intense feelings of worthlessness. Of shame. Of failure. Of being a shit person.
Sorry for the rant, but It just clicked the other day in therapy that this is the reason I’m feeling as broken as I am. Has anyone else gone through something similar?

2024.11.28 16:34 Tabikato I went hard through one playthrough
I've never gotten all achievements in a single playthrough on a DA game before but this one was definitely more streamlined story like DA2 was. Though to be fair I'm the type of RPG player that has to scurry into every corner of the game, haha.
