The guy I’ve been talking to now for 5 months, who is 25M, had invited me to a pre thanksgiving party he was having at his apartment with a couple other coworkers of his I knew. We were all drinking and playing games. He wasn’t interacting with me, it’s like I wasn’t even there. So, I pulled him aside very respectfully and I told him that I didn’t feel appreciated. This also comes from previous interactions that was building up just by being with him. I mentioned that we didn’t go on dates, he didn’t spend genuine time with me. I told him I felt like a booty call. Because he would only text me when he wanted me to spend the night and I told him that I felt like he didn’t respect me at all. I wasn’t yelling at him, I wasn’t being disrespectful. I vented to him about how I was truly feeling. And he was already cross faded. He either listened to me or just heard me talking and told me he was calling security. And I kept asking him why. Why do you treat me like this? I’ve done nothing wrong to this guy but be positive and supportive and he told me straight up, “ I’m not changing my ways for you. I don’t care what you do for me but I’m not changing for you if you don’t like how I am “. And security came I took my stuff and left in the middle of the party he was having. He told security to never let me back inside. My phone was dead and I needed to charge it because I had work the next day. Am I wrong for venting to him in a polite manner and he refused to listen? Instead he removed me from his home and left me outside in the middle of the night. He literally called his apartment building security on me. I was surprised he even did that. I did nothing wrong, I wasn’t yelling or being violent. I was outside for hours asking for help to get back to my place in a city I’m not familiar with. So I need someone to talk to, I need guidance please help.

2024.11.28 16:30 WallStreetKernel Will this plan for making Play 5 S2 compatible work?
My system is currently a mix of S1 and S2 products. I would like to upgrade them all to S2, but I have one (Play:5) that isn’t S2 compatible.
I have an idea to get the Play:5 to work on an S2 system, please let me know if you think this will work.
1: I have an S2 compatible Connect:Amp 2: Use speaker wire to RCA out of the Connect:Amp 3: RCA to aux connection 4: Aux line in to Play:5
I know I’ll probably have to control volume separately on the S1 app for this, but it seems like I’ll least be able to group the Play:5 (via Connect:Amp) with the rest of the system this way.
Any thoughts?

as you may noticed many people believe that most catholic countries are poor compared to protestant one just look at south america,some parts of africa and philippines (my country).
It is true that these countries that i mentioned are poor and part of the third world, but those countries are not poor because it was catholic but mostly it is poor because of bad governance and corruption.
However in what pisses me of is that many protestants claims this countries are poor because of catholicism just like what redeemed zoomer posted for example catholic make poor colonies and protestant make rich colonies, How can i refute those claims?

I am planning to buy a Synology NAS and am not sure which one to take. At the moment i am considering the DS1522+ and the DS423+. Those two make about 200€ difference for me. I think both have more than enough ports for hard drives for me, so the 5th port on the 1522+ is not a selling factor for me at the moment. (i know i can expand up to 15 ports but i am not interested in this part) The thing that interests me is the more powerful processor, the possibility of more ram and the possibility to upgrade the LAN speed with a 10 gbit adapter. Sadly, i have no clue how much processing power and ram etc. this thing should have for my needs so its hard for me to decide between the two. Is the power of the DS423+ more than enough for everything that you normally want to run on a NAS (I expect to install the synology apps like drive, photos, office, then a bitwarden and something for my security cams.) I am pretty interested to explore the possibilities of the device so i am not sure what i further might want to do on it. One thing in my mind is installing a small server for games, if that is something that is even possible.

I was crunching some numbers on a hypothetical potato garden. An average man would need to grow/harvest about 400 potato plants, twice a year, just to feed himself.
You would be working very hard everyday just to keep things running smoothly. Your entire existence would be farming, harvesting, and storing.
It's nice that so many people can fit this number of plants on their property, but when accounting for other mouths to feed, it starts to require a much bigger lot.
Keep in mind that potatoes are one of the most productive plants that we eat. Even with these advantages, farming potatoes for survival requires much more effort than I would anticipate. I'm still surprised that it is very doable with hard work, but life would be tough.

I am absolutely shocked by Google and their attitude toward customers! I used iPhones for 11 years, but eventually, I got tired of them and decided to give Android a try with the Google Pixel Pro XL. After all, this is Google’s flagship phone, which was supposed to showcase the best of their ecosystem. But the reality turned out to be completely different.
First of all, the basic interface lags! This is absurd for a phone in this price range. The camera, which everyone seems to praise, records videos with such heavy noise that it feels like I’m using a $150 phone. How is this even possible in what’s supposed to be a premium device?
And now, the GPS has completely stopped working. Basic navigation — one of the essential features of any smartphone — just doesn’t work anymore! And what does Google do? It’s been three months since the device launched, and all they suggest is to "factory reset your device" or "restart your phone". Excuse me, but I didn’t buy your phone for this! Am I supposed to reset and reboot it every single day just to make it barely functional? Is this normal?
Instead of optimizing their so-called “premium” device, Google is busy working on the Android 15 beta, filled with pointless cosmetic features. This is unacceptable for a company with such resources.

Next weekend I’ll be meeting up with friends for our first in house tournament. We’re all relative beginners but I’ve been doing a lot of research. I’ve told them I’ll be using Hydreigon. One of them responded with their Charizard deck. He purchased the League Battle deck and I’m confident he won’t do enough research to add a Dusknoir line. Another is using Miraidon with a low chance of adding a Magneton line by this time.
My point that I am getting at is that I know most decks I will play against have 0-1 single prize attackers. Is Mimikyu insane here? Outside of a Canceling Cologne (another unlikely card), what options can you use to shut down a Mimikyu? Are there other counter plays I’m not aware of or would I be setting up a checkmate?
