Hi everyone,
I’ve been questioning how much of what I feel is truly authentic versus shaped by societal influences or fleeting curiosity. Sometimes I notice myself focusing on specific features or dynamics, and I can’t tell if it’s actual attraction or just what I’ve been conditioned to think about.
I know emotional connection plays a big role in my attractions, but I also find myself second guessing certain thoughts/ fantasies. Are they genuine, or are they just ideas I’ve internalized from external sources?
For those of you who’ve gone through similar questioning, how did you untangle these feelings and figure out what was real for you?

I recently bought Vernius DLC, and I really like their gameplay flow, but I can’t seem to close out a win with them. Are there any guides since their update a few months ago.
It seems like parts of their kit are actively working against win goals. The neural nodes and analytical machines (I usually have 8-12 in a game) make it too difficult to qualify for governor. The solari cost of all their units makes it a difficult choice between having a capable army and buying choam stocks. Hegemony seems to be the only one they aren’t working against, although their defensive bonuses make it seem like their are better at holding territory than taking it from someone else.

Hiii, I’m a first semester health science science student at Vanier who applied for health at Dawson in the winter but got rejected:( bc there wasn’t enough space( according to the letter of refusal). I got offered a place in the spring board to dsc evening division instead. But I don’t want to stay in health anymore and want to apply to diagnostic imaging technology instead next year, so next sem I’m just gonna try to get through most of my gen ed courses. I want to be at Dawson bc Vanier is rly far away from my house & it’s a pain to commute and I heard it’ll be easier to transfer programs than to transfer school. So I was wondering it’s possible for me to be in spring board and not do any evening classes given they’re ab science courses and just do the normal day classes in general ed.

Recommendations about parenting and taking care of kids keeps changing, as we all know. When I was a newborn, they advised my mom not to feed me at night so I get used to not waking up and she would give me chamomile water instead. That was the general consensus apparently. Also they started us on solids at 3 months (fruit cream). Lots of stuff that if someone does now he would get a lot of hate and possibly child services would be called on them.
I can’t help but wonder what current trends/recommendations will be deemed completely wrong years later.
I’ll go first: white noise machines. I know they work for most babies, but it just feels wrong to expose the baby to so much noise!

I would love to hear thoughts on the North Node conjunctions Firstly, thank you for being here.
A bit of backstory. Two years, after a big plot twist in my life, I found myself on the dating apps. We matched, and I almost considered meeting up, but then chickened out. A month ago, I tried the apps again and I matched with this person, however, I didn't realize until way later that we had already matched once before. This time, however, I did find the courage to meet up. We had a wonderful evening with a lot of great banter and conversation. He (Cancer sun) left to go back to his studies. However, we are about to meet up this weekend.
There's been something really interesting about this connection. We've been talking everyday for the last month. Everyday. Somehow this the residue from that initial meet up has left taking better care of myself, and it's been really lovely sharing with this person. There's a very interesting connection.
It's also the first time I've talked with an Air Moon sign that's capable of talking about their family stuff and their own personal development goals.
I realize that karmic connections are soul contracts that could manifest in different shapes and forms.
I'm just curious for those who are still, what intuitive feeling do you get about these North Node conjunctions. I have natal Jupiter sextile my North Node in Pisces. However, I have a current Neptune square Venus transit so I'm trying to not get too fogged up in the Neptunian rose colored glasess.

In light of Turkey Day, I actually have a Thanksgiving Day story that happened to pop into my mind.
The area in which I managed my second hotel is the sort of area such that people are more likely to leave for holidays than arrive; consequently, Thanksgiving Day was about average occupancy for us. I didn’t even bother to raise the rates because I wouldn’t be doing it out of supply/demand, but merely because it’s a holiday, which just feels dirty.
I’ve got B-Shift as both my mother and my (at the time) in-laws preferred a very early dinner anyway.
Around 5:00p.m., a seemingly frazzled woman in her early thirties arrives; we’re deliberately going to change a few names and make her Cynthia.
Cynthia: Do you have any rooms available?
Me: (Offering a disarming grin and gesturing to the mostly empty parking lot) I’m pretty sure I can find at least one available.
Cynthia: Do you accept cash?
Me: We do; are you from around here?
Cynthia: I am. I can’t with my fiancée right now. You wouldn’t believe what he said about me at his parents, in front of his whole family, too. MAYBE I’ll go home tomorrow; we’ll see.
Me: Smoking or Non? Also, do you anticipate having visitors?
Cynthia: I don’t smoke and no visitors.
Me: Very good. In light of the circumstances, I’m just going to charge you our normal rate; locals would typically have to pay more, so keep it between the two of us. I’m also waiving the deposit. That’ll be $78.44, please.
Cynthia: Listen, I DO NOT want to see that man today. Thank you for the rate. Under no circumstances are you to tell him I’m here unless I tell you directly.
Me: Understood.
Cynthia: I mean, DIRECTLY. In person.
Me: You’ve had a difficult day, so I understand your concern; I promise that yours is not an unusual request; I hope the room is to your satisfaction. Our bar is closed tonight, but if you decide you want a drink, I’ll go down and grab you something; the first two are on the house.
Cynthia: I don’t drink, but thank you, you’re a sweetheart.
—-Fast forward three hours—-
A gentleman comes in, we’ll call him John, because that wasn’t his name. Interestingly, he doesn’t really have anything to say about how his night’s been going.
John: Hey, do you have any rooms?
Me: (Gesturing at the half empty lot) It’ll be a struggle, but I think I can find one.
John: Okay. How much?
Me: Smoking or Non-Smoking? Also, are you staying alone and are you from the area?
John: Smoking; I’m sure I can find some cigars somewhere. I’ve had a hell of a day. Actually, I am from around here.
Me: Okay, that’s $120, tax is included. Please refrain from smoking large cigars, or you’ll almost definitely set off the smoke detector. Anything about Cheroot sized, or smaller, is fine.
(As I’m putting him in the computer, something occurs to him)
John: Hey, I moved not long ago. My address isn’t what’s on the license. Do you need the correct address?
Me: (Already Basically Done) Nah. You don’t look like the room trashing type; besides, this is enough that I could find you, easily enough.
—-Fast Forward to Two Hours Later—-
I get a call from John’s room, 319.
John: Hey, is there a Cynthia Angeletti staying here? I drove by my house and her car isn’t there; she will answer for embarrassing me in front of my whole family.
Me: (Inwardly saying, “SHIT!) If she were staying here, it’s not as if I could tell you, but she’s not. Have you tried calling other hotels?
John: Yeah, but they all said the same thing you did.
Me: Well, they’re good at their jobs, then.
—-A half hour later, I get a call from 208—
Cynthia: You know, I think I will take you up on a drink, but only one. Do you have any red wine?
Me: I do have red wine. I’ll tell you what, we normally don’t do room service, but you’ve had a Hell of a day. I’ll go grab the best bottle we have and a wine glass; I can either knock or leave it outside the door and call your room when I get back downstairs. The bottle’s on the house.
Cynthia: You’re SO sweet! You can knock; I trust you.
——-
Apparently, they went the entire day (and checked out) without ever running into each other. Eventually, they reconciled and both called me a couple weeks later when they realized they had stayed in the same place.
Evidently, Cynthia figured John would go looking for her car if she wasn’t home, so she parked at a friend’s house and her friend drove her to the hotel.
Even if I had gotten the correct address for John, and made the connection, I probably would have still had to rent to him, or that would seem unusual. His call just wouldn’t have taken me by surprise.

انا شاب سعودي ابلغ من العمر ١٨ عام كل شيء بدا قبل ٤ شهور ، كنت في غرفتي بشكل طبيعي اتجهز للنوم بعد السهر ، فجاءة اول ما اغمضت عيني شعرت بشعور مرعب جدًا ولا يوصف من شدة الرعب وبعدها شعرت ان روحي تخرج من جسدي وكنت احس اني اطير فوق السرير بشي بسيط ، مع سماعي للاصوات اللي تقول شي ولكن مافهمته وضوء ابيض خافت في زاوية الغرفة ، في البداية ظننت انها النهاية واني سألحق بمن توفى وشعرت بالحزن الشديد والخوف بعد حوالي ثلاثين ثانية استيقظت وبدأت فالصراخ ولكن بلا جدوى لان لا احد يعيش معي فالمنزل ،اتصلت على صديقي واخبرته فقال لي ان اصلي وان اقول ادعية معينة ، قلتها وذهبت ولم انم تلك الليلة
بعدها بشهر بدأت المعاناة اصبح شلل النوم مرافقًا لي في كل الاوقات في المساء والصباح في الظهر والعصر وكنت اشعر قبل ان ياتيني بنوع غريب من الرعب والخوف دون اي مبالغه ف في الليالي اللتي اشعر بالطمانينة اكون على يقين بانه لن ياتي وفي الليالي اللتي اشعر بذلك الاحساس البارد من الرعب ياتيني شلل النوم ( الجاثوم ) ذات مره من المرات العديده اللتي اتاني كنت نائم وانعم باحلام جميلة احلم فيها انني مع امي واخي ، فجاءه ضعت وذهبت ابحث عنهم وانا في الحلم رايت شيئا مرعبًا جدًا جعلني استوعب ان هذا حلم وانني واعي لما يحدث وعندما اتتني تلك الفكرة استيقظت لاجدد نفسي مشلولا واشعر باني اتحرك واشعر بصدى غريب في اذني
