2024.11.28 19:38 Next_Education_3877 Are "high normal" hba1c blood levels a cause for concern ? My doctor says u shouldnt worry but I think otherwise. (No doctor or anyone seems to talk about this)
So its obvious that normal levels are below 5.7% and 5.7-6.4 is preduabetic and above that is diaabetic. But no one seems to be discussing thr below 5.7 range itself and im concerned.
When i was 18, my blood test numbers were fasting blood glucose was 87 mg/dl and hba1c was 5.3. Now im 22 years old and i took a blood test and my fasting sugar is 84 mg/dl and hba1c is 5.3 still the same hba1c thats good.
My cause for concern is that im too young im only 22 but these numvers are itching closer to prediabetic. Is this a sufficient predictor of pre diabetes and eventually diabetes ? Am i guaranteed to become pre/diabetic ?

Seems my 1 week old LG 45" has a dead pixel pretty much in the center of the screen, mostly visible on blue/green. Would you return it for this? Or am I just as much at risk to get a new screen with the same issue?

2024.11.28 19:37 MrMario63 Should I get Metaphor ReFantazio or Final Fantasy XVI (on steam deck)
Hey all! I love JRPGs and with the steam autumn sale giving both these games a great discount (for how recent they are), I’m hoping to sink my teeth into one of these.
In general, I much prefer Final Fantasy Games to Persona. Persona games main story tend to be really slow, even if good in the end. The only one I ever beat was P3R, which was a banger, but it had horrible pacing. Final Fantasy, on the other hand, always have a focus on the main quest. FFX has a wonderful plot, and Rebirth is my GOTY.
Plus, romance that is integrated well into the main plot in FF, which is something I value in JRPGs. I’m not a fan of being able to choose who you romance in games, I much prefer a well crafted canon love story like in Xenoblade or FFX.
That said, I’ve heard Metaphor is the better game. However, does it address the issues I have with Atlus games? I’m leaning towards FF16 right now. I prefer action combat but good turn based is fine, although I seriously do much prefer action combat.
Performance is a concern, seeing as I’m playing on steam deck. I take it Metaphor runs better, but does FF16 run good at all? I’m fine with 30fps as long as it’s steady.
What are your thoughts? Which do you think would be better for me?
