So this is gonna be a long read, but please bear with me I really need your opinion on this as I am very confused and lost.
What I want- I think many people will say do what interests you but hey at this point i really exactly don't know what. All I know that is I need a decent job which pays me well so I can save and build on it, and maybe pursue something else like a business or a startup idk but at this stage I need good money to get financial freedom to be able to be free form societal judgements, parental pressure and to be able to think freely in peace. I like tourism industry, like planning a trip itinerary, showing people around, managing the entire vacation, exploring new places and cultures and I also have vested interests in Event management, like planning an event, a wedding, organising stuff, but I am still very unsure about these paths. I can be sure and take risk about these interests of mine when I am literally on my own and am independent, because my degree is a completely different world (life sciences) from where my interests are. And there is also question of what if I fail in these interests how will I answer my parents? If I have money of my own to begin with I can take risks without thinking about parents and society.
What I have- Okay so I am a final year masters(MSc in Microbiology) student in Maharashtra, India.
I am totally lost about what to do next. I complete my masters in 4 months and I have absolutely no plan. There are 2-3 routes which commonly people take at this stage, first is give CSIR NET entrance exam for PHD research in govt institutions, second, give the same exam but to become an assistant professor at institutions, and thirdly get into biotech or pharmaceutical industry(Quality control or assurance). I seem to have no strong liking towards all the three paths, No for research as it has a lengthy tenure, I have less patience for research, don't want that "constant studies" environment anymore, and most importantly not so passionate about it which is said to be the most important requirement to get into research. A huge No for professor as I am bad at teaching, and I just want to get done with the college life and studies, cant do the same thing all over again being a professor in college, lastly industry, this is a good option out of all three but salary is minimal, no growth, no job security, plus repeated similar work every single day. I am mostly convinced for the industry option as I can switch later, and have plans to learn coding and analytics and get into bioinformatics or hopefully IT sector(far fetched but yeah) which have better pay scale. But there is a constant WHAT IF? in my head. what if research works out, what if I go abroad(Germany or US) and I get good opportunities after research?, what if I never get a promotion or a bioinformatics job in industry and get stuck at a basic technician role with below average salary? What if I should just follow my actual interests i.e. Event management and tourism instead of playing it safe?
All these things are running in my head constantly and I'm not able to decide. And the clock is ticking away. Please share your insights. Guide me through this. Your response will be much appreciated, literally will be a life saver!

Also, on the apple website it say I can enroll in financing for 24 months with the Apple Upgrade Program, but it has to be through the carries Verizon, At&t and Tmobile. Does metropcs fall under this requirement as it is part of Tmobile?

 | Hi folks, messing around and trying to learn the Stretch Part section of the ESX-1, but I'm quite confused by one thing. All my patterns are set at 175 BPM.  | I have been looking at this truck for a couple weeks. Spoke with the salesman by phone last week and I wanted 44k out the door and they said no and haven't called back. I love the truck and although it doesn't have all the features I wanted, it has enough and I absolutely love the look of it. But I keep coming back to this truck being overpriced.... they have had it since mid October and dropped the price by 3k 3 weeks ago. I am positive they would take 45-45.5k out the door but my original budget was already 40k - so I could make it work but just don't want to get a bad deal. Has leather and the Powerboost. It was personal vehicle that had oil changes every 5k miles. Clean carfax one owner. The person must have did a lot of highway miles to put so many miles on it in a short period of time. I am travelling to Europe soon, and would love to dabble in some cello shopping. I currently have a cheap beginner cello (Cecilio) that I purchased a few years back with the intent to get started with some lessons and make sure it would stick before investing in something more valuable. I did make some changes to that instrument, including a new tailpiece, better strings, and a better bow. I’m now at that point where I feel ready to do a complete upgrade.

Currently an undergrad in psych with a 4.0 gpa, but I don’t know what I want to do with my life. All jobs sound pretty equally terrible to me! I just chose psych because I find it interesting and easy. I’m good at a lot of the stuff law school wants you to be good at (reading, writing, apparently I’m great at logical reasoning, although that doesn’t seem to track with my general dumbass fuckup syndrome lol) and I took a practice LSAT and got around a 170. Should I go to law school just because I can? It would be a financial burden (my family always broke af so it’s that luxurious student debt lifestyle for me) but like. When you’re not a trust fund baby you’re kind of financially screwed no matter what so does it matter? Is it a bad idea to go into law even without a burning passion for it? The thing is I don’t really have passion for anything except idk, philosophical themes in cartoons and funny memes and getting a pump at the gym, useless crap like that. but I feel like if I have the mental ability and situational opportunity to go to law school it would be a bit of a waste not to, yeah? Do law students need to be good at arguing right away? I kinda despise conflict, my interpersonal skills are quite shit (my therapist thinks I might be autistic. Are autistic lawyers a thing or) and I’m not that great at coherently expressing my thoughts. (I do well on school essays and whatnot but let me tell you, they’re 90% pretentious sentence structures and unnecessary big words and only 10% substantive arguments. I guess professors love that tho) I thought about going into academia but I realized I would essentially be continuing to write verbose nonsense essays and contributing nothing to society for the rest of my life and it felt a bit hollow. (Not to diss academics, obv some of them do very important stuff, I just think i specifically would skate by doing pointless research and topical jargon papers. and i know that’s something academia allows as long as you package your nothing in pretty words- example: that one experiment those physics bros did publishing actual gibberish in liberal arts journals) Tbh I probably would prefer the job duties of a doctor or dentist or something, I always thought medical professions were cool. I just found general chemistry so mind-numbingly boring that I dropped it and resigned myself to a bachelor of arts. I guess that’s pretty stupid of me. I’ll readily admit that I have issues with applying myself and following through on things. I’ve changed my major like five times. I do the required assignments in school but I don’t really study. I’m confident in my ability to learn, but not so much in my work ethic. Or networking ability, that’s straight out, couldn’t network properly if you put a gun to my head. Hate the whole “selling yourself” thing, I ain’t gonna lie and tell people I’m all that. Also possibly relevant that I’ve had treatment-resistant clinical depression for almost a decade. might something to do with the lack of interest, motivation, or life direction. I had to go to the alternative high school that everyone knew was basically for dumb kids and failures, bc I was a worthless catatonic lump as a teen. Sometimes i still hardly get out of bed for a week or so except to do schoolwork, so maybe I would be totally cooked in law school! Too mentally weak and all that.
Whatever. Give me career advice please! Are you a lawyer and think I would be absolute trash at your profession? Let me know! Tbh I’ll probably crash and burn at the whole college thing at some point and end up a stoned cashier at a 7/11 because I’m just one of those wasted potential types lol, but I thought it’d be interesting to get reddit’s perspective.

i thought i was relatively fit until one day my cousins took this picture of me on the left and i didn’t like what i saw. i went to the gym for the first time and didn’t know what i was doing. i still don’t know what i’m doing and between work and trying to survive and find time for everything, i gained 15lbs. i feel better and get more attention. if i trained harder, I’m sure i’d gain more but like i said i’m trying my best with what little time i have.

Been having real problems loading into scavs the last days, literally cant get into a raid as i blackout to server error. Is the PVE scav servers just taking a shit recently? Kinda wanted to do some of the Fence dailies as they have had some nice items...
PMC'ing has been very smooth, and havent had any problems loading into raids on PVP
Anyone else experiencing the same thing, and/or is there any way to fix it?
