Hi, I wanted to ask some of you, if you can recommend me a tinny form factor esp32 capable to control a radio control car.
I know the basics. But as esp32 has a few versions, I wanted to ask if someone can tell me wich could fit better for my purpose.
The fact is that, I want to make everything related to electronics from zero. I mean everything I made.
And what I uave no idea about, is how far and how powerful can an esp32 pcb antenna could be. As I plan to fit everything of the circuit inside the plastic case of the rc car.
Someone may be wandering ¿Why I would like to change from Arduino to esp32 if it already works?
Well, not exactly. I noticed that arduino pwm pins (328p) have very low resolution, I mean, to read analog values and to write pwm signals, arduino has a ver bad response.
Maybe I sould tri hall effect potentiometers, but if I make that change, I would still want to make it from zero with the high quality compared to arduino, that esp32 offers.
So my first option is esp32 wemos d1 like, but as I said, I don't know how do the pcb antenna will work being inside a plastic cover.
Also, would you recommend a logic voltage level ? I mean a chip that on one side is connected to 3.3v signals from the esp32 and on the other side is 5v connected to the logic part related to power components?
And, is still possible to use nrf24 2.4ghz modules with esp32, or it is better a esp32 with amplified antenna connector?

I've recently been trying to structure my approach to jiu jitsu and one thing that I've been thinking more of is the relationship between sitting vs supine guard. I've read older posts on this subreddit and it seems the issue is more contentious than I would expect.
To me it would be better to start a grappling match against someone trying to pass in sitting guard than in supine guard. In sitting guard you are fighting against gravity less. Additionally, it is only one transition away from standing to neutral vs two from supine guard. Thirdly, you can engage and enter a more supine guard on your own whim once you establish grips.
Are there situations you would want to start in supine guard in a typical match (the assumption here is you are equally competent in both)? I feel like I've seen matches where people just plop into supine guard. Just wanted to hear the communities take on how they approach supine vs sitting guard.

TLDR: My boyfriend promised to spend Christmas and Thanksgiving with me this year and now it seems like neither one is going to happen. I'm upset, hurt, and feel alone.
For a background, my boyfriend and I have been in a LDR for over a year now, and have been seeing each other for about a year and a half. We fly out to see each other across the country, and try to at least once a month. We are university students and go back to our parents homes during the holidays.
Hey all, this is mostly a vent but I am coming on here to ask for advice on how I should go about this.
Last year, I suggested to my boyfriend that for the holidays in the future, we could spend one holiday with one persons family and vise versa. He said it sounded like a good idea, and promised me we would spend the holidays together this year. This year, I offered to fly across the country to spend Thanksgiving with him and his family, and his mother said they did not have enough room for me. I was never really invited, I more so offered to spend Thanksgiving with them, and was turned down (even though his other brother's girlfriend flew in and is there with them.) My boyfriend did not really push to have me there for Thanksgiving, and insisted he wanted to be there, so I settled with that.
Recently, I asked my boyfriend to come into town for Christmas this year, considering I offered to come see him and his family for Thanksgiving and it didn't work out. He instantly shot my proposal down, and told me he wants to spend Christmas with his family. I even offered to fly out to his state for half of the break, and he could fly out here for the other half, and he still said no. He keeps promising me that we will spend Thanksgiving and Christmas together next year, but I'm not sure if I can believe him, since that is what he said last year.
I understand that family is important and I am just his girlfriend, but he broke his promise and didn't even try. I feel as if I am so quick to sacrifice things just to be there with him, and he does not do the same for me. I was even planning on leaving everything behind and moving across the country to be with him after graduation, and now this has me doubting doing that. I'm dealing with a lot of emotions right now, I feel sad, angry, jealous, and alone. I know it's just two days out of the year and that I can see him other times, but holidays are very hard and lonely for me and I just wanted to be able to spend them with him for the first time. I don't know if I can trust his promises going forward after this.
My writing may be all over the place, but I'm coming on here to ask what I should do when I talk to him about this in a few days. Thanks for reading this emotional vent if you read through it all, and Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate🤍

 | This is a 20 gallon and has been up for over a year. Some months back I had to do a big deep clean because of CO2 overload (it came on when I was at work and everything died). I cleaned everyone out, but have up on it for a few months out of depression over it. Well, since starting it back up I've had this issue with it. This nasty white crap on everything and fuzzy plants. Yes, I've vacuumed multiple times. It's hooked up to an oase 250 biomaster, which is more than enough filter power.
