2024.11.28 19:40 Hamilton-tom Warning for potential investors - RAISE GROUP
I just wanted to make everyone aware of my experience with this builder and company, as I have noticed a lot of people looking to invest in Tulum and asking questions around it. This company is continuing to advertise and seek investors so I believe it is important to make people aware of their risks if they get involved with Raise Group.
My Experience:
Raise Group put a ton of shady things within our contracts to ensure they were unable to be pushed out as the buildings maintenance company for 2 years. They at best did a terrible job of maintaining the ability and refused communication, and did not finish jobs within the building that were promised prior to purchase. During this time they embezzled money from the condo fund, did not pay any maintenance or utilities for their commercial property, and refused to share with the owners a record of our condominium account and justify its spending. The way they operated, and told us to bring them to court at every turn, makes me believe they know the system well and know the cost of doing such things at times go no where and at other times are more expensive than they are worth, which they use to their advantage. Raise Group is more then happy to push the legal route to bleed money from investors. In addition part of the purchase and attractiveness of the purchase included amenities one of which being a gym that was only accessible to building owners. Once we were able to remove them as the buildings management company, it was immediately locked and access was removed for all owners, we were then told that it was owned by the owner of raise group (Raul) and he would not be giving us access. We threatened legal action as it was clearly stated in all advertising and conversation that the gym was part of building amenities available to owners, to which Raul responds "you will lose any legal action in regards to this, I have paperwork showing me as the owner of the gym". This not only impacts our personal experience but also the experience of the renters who booked while the gym was advertised and available. This causes bad reviews and at times, partial/full refunds to some renters who felt like they were lied to in the advertisement. All this said. I am happy to have invested in Tulum, I love the area and think it will only get better from here. I do however feel that bad actors and people looking to take advantage of others give a black eye to the area as a whole. We should make each other aware of these incidents to hopefully be able to avoid more people being impacted negatively financially

I have loved the name “Bristol” since I was just a kid. I always dreamed of having a daughter named Bristol (or maybe some creative spelling, like Brystyl 😉). I am now 19 weeks pregnant and we just found out that we are having a girl! I excitedly told my husband what I wanted the name to be, and he immediately shot it down. He said that she will be made fun of. I don’t understand why he doesn’t like it. He said that Bristol plus our last name would be a really shitty name for our child. We both liked our last names and decided to hyphenate when we got married. My last name was Stule (my family is German) and his last name was Skail (a Scandinavian name). So, our daughter’s name would be Brystyl Stule-Skail. I think it sounds so beautiful, but my husband (an irrelevant detail, but he is a Gastroenterologist) is being totally stubborn and refuses to give our daughter this beautiful name. Any advice on how I can convince him?

Not sure how balanced it is though..
Most of the ideas in the concept generalize the more specified parts of her kit (i.e. only regenerating against shields health and barriers >>> lifesteal), and streamlining parts of her kit (turret travel time).
Passive: Shield Generator - Symmetra will now regenerate shield health when dealing damage: 20% of damage dealt by Photon Projector and 20% of damage dealt by Sentry Turrets. - Health decreased from 125 >>> 75 HP - Shield increased from 150 >>> 175 HP - Symmetra's placeables and Symmetra herself will spawn overhealth packs upon destruction/death that grant allies 50 overhealth that decays after 5 seconds, maxing out at 100.
Primary Fire: Photon Projector - [UNCHANGED]
Secondary Fire: Photon Projector - Can now level up Photon Projector Primary Fire. - Splash damage decreased from 50 >>> 40 dmg
Ability: Sentry Turret - Turret count increased from 3 >>> 4 - Turret damage decreased from 30 >>> 22.5 dmg per second - Now behaves like a hitscan beam and teleports to final destination, and leaves a trail of photon particles (for enemy clarity). - Pre-placement turrets can now be eaten and deflected. - Eliminating an enemy now completely refreshes sentry turret cooldown.
Ability: Teleporter - Teleporter interaction radius increased from 1.5 >>> 4 meters - Teleporter shields decreased from 200 >>> 100 HP - Visuals changed to align with interaction radius. - If a hero walks on top of the teleporter hitbox, they will automatically be teleported. This can be turned off in per-player settings. - Teleporter can now be placed on walls and ceilings. - Default placement confirmation mode set to: "Upon ability key release" (like Rammatta's barrier). - Option added in hero-specific settings: "Automatically teleport upon initial cast (if within range)" - Set to OFF by default
Ultimate: Photon Barrier - Duration increased from 12 >>> 15 secs - Health decreased from 4000 >>> 2000 HP - Enemies that pass through the barrier are slowed by 15%. - Sombra can now hack Symmetra to remove the barrier's slow effect.

Hi, delighted newish Runna user here - 6 weeks into first 10 week plan.
I had a GPS glitch this morning which wasn't severe enough to affect the overall run time too much (8km) but it HAS resulted in me "getting" Km Mile PBs I shouldn't have. What's the best way, if any, to solve this. I don't want to exclude the run from overall distance stats, just not have those PBs registered.

Hi,
So two weeks ago I got broken up with. His reasoning was ‘ you deserve better and I’m not gonna change’ he told me the relationship drained him and that he doesn’t have love to give anymore. That got me really thinking. I realise that sometimes I made a small situation into something big because of my own insecurities and anxiety to be left by people. I never disrespected him or screamed at him or cussed him out. But I asked for so much sometimes that I forgot his needs. The rest of the relationship was okay, he made his mistakes I made my mistakes, when we were together it was never a fight it was always so fun. So it wasn’t anything toxic
So now I truly feel guilty about my mistakes. I don’t want him Back because I know he’s not my person but should I still apologise even tho we’re two weeks in no contact? Should I wait a little or just never text him at all ??

If you're new here, the idea is to create, one at a time, a character that follows the script theme. Think how BMR resolves around figuring out deaths and SNV around lots of information and misdirection. Our script's mechanical theme is: "characters". Forget "players". Learn and guess characters, kill and poison characters, swap characters! Maybe it is useful to hide yours until the last moment, or maybe it wants to be public asap?
The new entry Last winner was the Scout (Townsfolk): "You start knowing how many Outsiders sit between you and the Demon. If you sit directly across from the Demon, the direction is arbitrary."
A very strong tool for worldbuilding, pretty much like the Clockmaker, when not disrupted. Other than that, very straight forward early info for town.
For today This is our last entry and our script will be almost ready! Tomorrow I plan on opening suggestions for rebalance, so you can think ahead of time what you think can be tweaked for better experience, as long as it doesn't break everything else.
Today, though, design our last Townsfolk! We do have quite a lot of information, I wonder if there is any other path we could go for the last slot?
