My DD slipped on our friends boat this morning and has broken both bones in her lower leg. She now has a cast from her toes to her hip and understandably feels rubbish tonight. We have a 4 hour trip home tomorrow too which is another worry. Is there any tips to manage normal task while she adjusts to life for the moment x

I need a handhold! My daughter fell from a girl's shoulders, landing on her head and neck today in school! The paramedics think she might have broken her neck or back. We are just waiting for the scan results. They have said it's either a muscle injury or worse! They said they were concerned about how she was at school!! She has only just turned 15 😖

On this day every year, I like to reflect on the year I've had and think of what moments I'm truly thankful for. Life with you has been many things since our journey first began, but one thing it has constantly been is absolutely amazing. As I reflect on our time together this past year, countless memories of the most deep-within-your-gut laughs that brightened the day they happened on come to my mind - all the silly and heartfelt moments that could only be appreciated by you and I. I think of all the sweet moments that told me how much you loved me, and all the little things you did that truly had the biggest impact on me and my life.
I even think of the song in the recent past that you played for me to tell me how you felt about me. You know, that song still makes me cry when I hear it. I think about all the times you did things you knew I liked for no other reason than to see me happy. I think about all the times I was upset and you went out of your way to cheer me up and make me feel better because you cannot stand to see me upset. I think of all the times you did something that was so damn adorable that my heart couldn't keep from melting. I think of all the times I laid my eyes on your incredible smile, and how it made time skip for a moment as it appreciated the sight. I think of every laugh I was lucky enough to hear, and how it made my heart soar like it was on the wildest roller coaster. I think about me asking you to secretly tell me how you really felt about me, and how you gave me the best answer you could have given me - it made my entire year.
As you can see, this is such a happy day for me to sit with my thoughts and think of all the good fortune I've had this year all because you couldn't help but be your amazing, incredible self. You make such a difference in my life every single day,.and I hope you know all the little.things that happen do add up to make my life absolutely magnificent. I can only hope that I make half as much of a difference for you in your life. Do I make your life better, too? I like to imagine that I do, but I know you probably wouldn't write out a letter to me telling me all the little things you remember from this past year that I did to make your life better. I would love a letter like that because it would really be the most special thing in the world to me. lol
Thank you for always being yourself because that person is the person I love more than anything. They are the soul that was made for mine. They are the person who makes my life worth living. They are the person that I can't imagine life without. You are the best person in the world to me, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you love me more than anything in this world. You make sure that I know that. You are such a wonderful person to experience life with, and I cannot truly think of a place I'd rather be than wherever you happen to be at any given time. You're my person, and I just have to say that I truly could not care for you more. You're amazing. You always have been. And to me, you always will be.

I am about to buy a new Thinkpad. All three seem kinda the same specification vise, even the size. G5 is a little bit more expensive, but I would need a new Dockingstation because the T14s G4 doesn't have Thunderbolt. Is there something else to think about? Perhaps for using it with Linux? I remember that T14s should have a better build quality?

P.S. The new T14s G6 AMD would also be a possibility, but the new AI Ryzen looks more like a bad deal on Paper (if you don't to use any Ai stuff)

This agar was left out room temperate in sab for about 3 days or so. As you can see the bottom not being touched by air is an indication of what I think is bacterial (on the top of the agar) contamination. I think it’s from the air when I poured . The agars, also clean, were left out as well and they too show the same results. Any tips?
