I've just started a role as B2B SDR and I'm one week into calling, still haven't booked anything and I'm starting to doubt my abilities.  | Hey guys, i still did not give up on my RGB mod from oldschoolconsoles.com. I have this glitching and black borders all around the screen which can be seen here . So just to try... if its the console or just the RGB signal (which would mean the mod board right? ) I used my OEM Scart cable which i know has crappy quality but it was just for testing. I run both wires into my Retrotink 5x. You can see the result of the test here. So since the glitching is gone and theres no trace of any black borders can i say for sure its the modchip? So I’m taking cephalexin 4 times a day for seven days. I’m not supposed to be on my period right now but I am. Anyone else experience this? Zero chances I’m pregnant.
I had to go to the ER last week and missed like 3 pills as well from my birth control. I’m sure that didn’t help either. Battling an infection right now. :(

I would categorize myself as “spiritual”, as in went through some sort of awakening and believe that I am a soul having a human experience. I believe in spirits and spirit guides and soul contracts. Spend time healing myself with different modalities. Although I’m quite grounded in 3D and live within a lot of societal norms.
My partner is as “spiritual” as they come. Is an energy worker, serves plant medicine and spends a lot of time in other realms. He does not plan for the future or worry about money in any sort of way, follows and trusts guidance from spirit.
Our relationship has been great.. sometimes though! But we both appreciate the growth based on our spiritual natures. We have a shared vision.. our opposites seemed to compliment each other to help us accomplish more… or so I thought?
Recently he told me he was being guided to follow a spiritual path entirely. Not sure that his mission will allow him time or space for a partner. He wants to travel and do grid work and wants someone who can do that with him too… which was part of the shared vision, only I’m still opening up my abilities and am in the first year of launching a business that I hope will give me the financial freedom to travel with passive income in the future.
So I’m not sure if he’s just having a tough moment questioning his path.. or if he really needs a spiritual equal and we are quite doomed? We have been focused a lot on my business lately as it’s leading up to Christmas.. so I’m wondering if that’s getting to him or if I’m really just not enough for him. We are in the process of talking about it but I am quite emotional as we thought we were each others’ person and his change of tune is crushing me.
TLDR all the super open light workers out there, does dating only work with people who share the same abilities and life purpose? Has your guidance had you forego romantic love (or other prior commitments) to fulfill your mission?

This barely has to do with swimming but I can’t find any other sub to ask this in.
Long story short my community does a mile run before the Christmas parade and I did it in a speedo; some people were saying I was over the top but some found it hilarious and some grandma even shouted “that’s hot”- but I feel kinda guilty about it.

About a week ago I've started having keyboard issues with my first gen T14s, 3 keys are not working properly. To be completely honest the past 4 years I've owned this piece of shit there's always been something but this has to be the most annoying thing that's come up.
Sometimes the keys don't work at all for up to half an hour, then afterwards they seem fine again.
Extremely annoying as you could imagine.
I don't recall doing any updates that could've triggered this. Also no external factors like spilling a drink or whatever, I'm quite careful with my thinkpad.
Any ideas what this could be / how to fix it?

With Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals I am considering whether or not I should test the waters with a 1440p monitor. I currently have a 1080p 280hz monitor and use a 4060 Ti 16 GB with an AMD 7800X3D and have very few complaints as I primarily play FPS games and the occasional single player game. Is it worth considering making a switch to 1440p based on my current setup? Trying to weigh the pros and cons from a frames perspective with the target game at the moment being the new COD/Warzone.

This recent paper points out a major issue with RoPE and long contexts: When Precision Meets Position: BFloat16 Breaks Down RoPE in Long-Context Training
Despite the computational advantages of BFloat16, we have identified a critical issue: when combined with BFloat16, the relative positional encoding properties of RoPE are broken, especially in long-context scenarios. As shown in Figure 1, this breakdown occurs because of BFloat16’s limited precision. As the training window size increases, numerical errors accumulate, exacerbating the issue and resulting in a more substantial discrepancy. In contrast, this degradation disappears when using Float32, which maintains the integrity of RoPE’s relative positional encoding. Our empirical observations confirm that this breakdown diminishes the benefits RoPE offers for long-context training.They've got a proposed way to address the problem, of course, but I figured that people around here would be interested in knowing that the problem exists in the first place.
It probably explains some of the problems training at longer sequence lengths and maybe some of the instability after 8K or so...
Restarting position IDs enhances model performance but introduces a significant drawback: the model can only learn the full spectrum of rotational angles when processing sequences that reach or exceed the context length. This limitation hinders the model’s ability to generalize to longer context length scenarios because, as we increase the context window size, collecting sufficient long sequences to fill the entire context window becomes impractical due to the scarcity of such lengthy data.TL;DR:
