 | Recently came to visit a relative in Florida and this is the inside frame of the main bedroom. There are other areas of the house that I can tell need some upkeep but is this termite damage? When you open/close the door chunks of wood and paint and dust fall on you. Is it fixable? I was pleased to get my new HP PC at the weekend and to try out Windows 11. So far very positive except for the over intrusive Edge.
I am, for better or worse, a Google and Chrome fan and wish to use exclusively Chrome on the new computer. If I want, for some reason, a Firefox or a Tor or even an Edge then I can start one manually for one session. But Chrome should be my default browser.
And I thought I had made it so. But when I create shortcuts with a http: or https: address, the short cut starts Edge. When I ask Word to download a language pack, it starts Edge for the download. Chrome, under its three dots invites me to set Chrome as my default browser. But in spite of repeatedly doing this, nothing changes.
HELP! As Henry II of England would have said were he still alive, Will no one rid me of this turbulent browser? Any help or suggestions would be welcome. Or should I just uninstall it from the control panel?

2024.11.28 21:30 meowmarvin Book with Time Travel, the Blitz / WW2, a teddy bear, and a Holy Water Fountain
Basically, I remember reading this book when I was a kid at the library. It had to have been published before 2008.
From what I can remember, it was a children’s fantasy, more on the dark side. Had Anthony Horowitz vibes but it wasn’t part of his Power of Five series.
One or two kids go back in time, there’s a teddy bear involved somehow, and the climax of the book involves using a Holy Water fountain to defeat the monstebig bad which results in the fountain being dry in the modern day.
I feel like I can remember the tone so well, but I can’t remember the book and its driving me crazy! And leads would be appreciated!
(Also might have been part of a series, there’s another book with a similar tone where I remember a pretty harrowing sequence of some people being trapped on a broken down bus while harpies are circling around.)

This is my sad history... i was on master II like 1 win to get the master I, idont play this game seroisly, im always doing anothers stuffs when im playing this game, sometimes i lose by time, or by being distracted (dont like to lose 10 min wathching combo decks) so, this was never a problem to reach master I, if i lose i take it, no problem whit that, but because i always do this, in this season i got the master IV, and i was like, ok is easy, just play again to master I, but now im stuck, and no matter if im playing seriously, im still stuck, always lose by tempai (4 hand traps or board breakers + 1 card auto win), or for the love of jesus my enemies always have perfect hand, and im fk mad with this game now, WTH with this game, doesnt make any sense, like im bad luck now or what?.
