Hey there, pic of me here
I’m looking for someone who craves connection just as much as I do. Note that I would like to text but voice/video chatting is nice too.
I’m employed full time as a retail manager. In the past, I’ve taught elementary school and been a pharmacy technician. I’ve had several jobs in retail before the one I have now. I can actually count on two hands how many jobs I’ve had!
In my free time, I mostly stream on MeetMe as a way to socialize and meet new people. I also love video games (Pokémon and Disney Dreamlight Valley are my big two). I’m finally caught up to the newest season of Grey’s Anatomy so I have also been watching that.
It’s important for me to note that I recently made the switch to sobriety for my own health. I still enjoy going out, I just choose not to drink. I don’t mind if you drink, however.
In the near future (within the next 2-3 years) I would like to settle down and start a family.
Last but certainly not least, I do have a cat. We’re a package deal!

No check engine lights good oil pressure no leaks or burning oil of any sort strong as all get out 0-45 mph after that shift kinda feel a loss of power and sometimes sputtering but still no check lights no gauges are fluttering. (First Reddit post)

Hey guys. Can I get some feedback? We can put it to a vote but should I make it a rule not to over analyze and assume something is wrong based on baseless assumptions? My 10 year old nephew is autistic and cannot talk. Most of the family is neurotypical and doesn't educate themselves about autism. My son has ADHD so he is understanding. I have ADHD and autism, so I have a strong understanding as well (though I can never tell my family, even though they are loving people).
I daily read and learn from other neurodivergents, especially ADHD and autism. I am boiling inside because my sister-in-law will NOT let my nephew use headphones because she doesn't want him to depend on them.
She loves him but will not listen to me. She is trying to make him be something he isn't. She wants him to he "normal"... and I can't do anything about it.
I don't like being around them because it kills me that nobody accommodates him in any way. I am remembering my own childhood. I die inside every time the family is together.
Tell me gently it isn't my fault (I suffer with severe RSD). Tell me it isn't my business. Tell me something to make me stop wanting to run away from him.
Please give me comfort or hope.
