Hello locals,
I recently moved to SF and enjoying to city's treats so far besides not being able to find a reliable barbehairstylist who has experience with scissors only cut.
As you may know most of the barbers here in US uses clipper and/or scissor combinations and they try to cut your hair fast so they can take more customers. Personally I don't prefer and I don't like that that style of cutting. In southern part of Europe we prefer scissors only cut with variety of different scissors and/or razors according to client's needs and hair type. So I'm looking for your recommendation for expert barbers who is good at their scissors craft. Please only recommend male barbers since I don't prefer female hairstylist and if you know a 1st gen immigrant barber that would be solid best combo since immigrant barbers has marvelous scissors skills. Also if guys know any good place for Sunday shave--a traditional wet razor beard shave--that would be great.
I'm located in North Beach but willing go anywhere and pay the extra for quality haircut. Thanks in advance people :) Cheers

So Ive got decent legendary schematics now at level 77, on page 5 of canny valley and have a load of mythic heroes but my account level is 54 and I'm just wondering whats the best way to significantly level up and get really powerful other than just grinding story missions.
I've never bothered much with the events or the waves mode but will those help level up?

2024.11.29 01:31 lukedri This game is so easy to softlock I've already lost 3 saves before reaching Midhaven tier 2 once
first two saves are done because either the farming village, an unbuilt shrine, or the entirety of Midhaven itself just vanished at some point and it's not coming back.
I started my third save today, hoping this issue has at least been resolved by the last patch already. before I could find that out tho, I softlocked myself as soon as I entered Midhaven after building the bridge. it's late, I'm tired, not thinking particularly hard, and I was getting a little impatient, so I went to Dada to get the portal built before I even talked to Hiluna to start "Restoring Midhaven".
little did I know that something as simple as just talking to one npc out of order would be enough to render this save completely useless. one of the objectives of "Restoring Midhaven" is talking to Dada and activating the portal. I did that already, but the game still required me to do it anyway. there was absolutely nothing I could do to fix it. I even completed the quest to activate a shrine and village portal, talked to her again, the main quest would not progress.
I really wanna play this game, but so far it hasn't been letting me.

2024.11.29 01:31 danarexasaurus I have a tilt table test with immediate EP study after depending on the results. It’s looking like I’ll be on my period. Is that going to be an issue?
I’m not finding a lot online about what happens if I am menstruating during this testing. I’ve already waited 6 months just to get this date on my doctor’s calendar (after 5 months waiting just to see them). My cycle is wild due to PCOS so I cannot schedule better. I don’t know if they can do this testing while the patient is bleeding. If anyone has had an EP study (with ablation), what was the recovery in the hospital like afterward?

I want 2 give up. it's dropping to below freezing temperatures. the only shelter that takes women hasn't had a bed for months. I call everyday...still nothing. no warming center's. I have no car. I have absolutely no clue on how to survive. I can't pitch a tent anywhere near where I am. no well secluded woods. no treeline. I'm scared and worried. how do yall do it? how can I stay warm? I can't walk around my city all night, it's not safe, I'm constantly targeted by men. nowhere is open 24 hours plus I have no money to keep buying something so I don't get kicked out... am I supposed to kill myself?

Something that stands out to me is AG saying she was friends with Sam for a lot longer than her and Tashika. AG was a friend separate of Sam's friendship with Tashika. Isn't it weird that after Sam brings Tashika into the fold all of a sudden something happens to Tashika and Sam is forced to pick a side. And not unsurprising it's with the master manipulator. I read that AG has only know Tashika for 2 to 3 months. That's all it took for this big dramatic blow up. The common denominator is Tashika. Sam is next. And if not next Sam will be all that Tashika has and it's going to be physically and emotionally draining.

I’ve been searching reddit for the past 3 days trying to find something that can give me answer to no avail so here it goes.
First, my LO is 24W6D, almost 6 months. He was always a great nighttime sleeper, always was put down and with us being close by, would fall asleep without help. Would sleep 10.5-11 hours a night with 1 feed since about 12 weeks. Even when the 4 month regression hit, his inital falling asleep for night was alone - he woke up a couple extra times a night for a couple of days but that was that. Always in bed between 7:30-8:30 after routine (bottle, bath, pj, story, crib) and wakes up 10.75 hours later (6:15-7:45).
I was an EP and decided to switch to formula last week since he’s always had really bad spit-up and reflux. He took the formula very well with no complaints.
When it came to naps, he used to need to feed to sleep and only contact napped - we could never put him down - until he turned 20 weeks when my husband stopped feeding him to sleep and he stopped that association. We also started being able to put him in his crib for nap time and with the same as bedtime, with some closeness from us, he would fall asleep. He was always a crap napper so between 20-40 min alone, could go to 1hour contact.
Fast forward to this week, out of nowhere, he is REFUSING his naps - will scream bloody murder anytime you attempt to put him in the crib, and even trying to rock, contact, feed to sleep, nothing works! Nightime is still great, still put into crib and he falls asleep - however, he has been waking up for the pacifier more often, and also due to rolling over and getting stuck.
We use Huckleberry for the sweet spot nap times and that had been great. We had been transitioning from 4 to 3 naps. For the past 4 days, he will NOT nap unless I put him in the car and drive. His WW are 2/2.25/2.5/4 ish (the last nap was always a mess) but since his naps are short, the schedule is usually super messed up.
Obviously, he’s been super cranky and fussy, we are also thinking teeth? What is happening?! Do I need to sleep train?
TLDR; 5.5 months, won’t nap anymore (contact or not) but fine for nightime.

Hi all,
I’m very sorry for the essay. I'd really appreciate it if someone with a greater level of insight could help me out. I've received an offer from both MHA and Evelyn Partners onto their 4 year school leaver apprenticeship scheme. After 4 years I will be ACA-qualified, though with Evelyn Partners I'd just be achieving that qualification in the 4 years whereas with MHA you do the AAT Level 3 and 4 before completing the ACA exams.
My career goal is to fully qualify, try to move up and eventually reach a position that pays really well. However, I want to do that to a certain extent. I want a decent work-life balance and not to be someone whose work is their life. The idea of grinding yourself down to a pulp to become some finance bigwig just doesn't resonate with me.
Starting salary is very similar for both, but would they continue to match as I progress through the apprenticeship and beyond or would one quickly outrun the other as I gain seniority? With Evelyn Partners, they are owned by private equity and the accounting arm just got bought by another private equity firm a week ago. I've read that it's not so desirable to work for firms owned by private equity. The work culture and work-life balance is pretty bad and the pay is disproportionately low compared to the work put in and pressure on you. If someone could expand on this, it'd be very helpful.
On the flip side, Evelyn Partners is ranked 6th and MHA is ranked 13th (I think). MHA is quite a bit smaller as a firm. When it comes to progression, growth and perhaps applying to future opportunities if I decide to leave, would the fact that MHA is a smaller-sized firm limit me in terms of what I can aim for later on? Let's say I changed my mind and did in fact want to become a highly-positioned individual at a Big4 firm or similar, would this be possible?
For what it's worth, I enjoyed MHA a lot more than Evelyn Partners. Evelyn has the fancier-looking office and so on, but MHA seem more down to earth and that they seek to genuinely invest in and develop people. It's just I don't want to make a choice and feel like I wasted my potential and got 'stuck' later on, or end up hating my job and not being able to properly spend time on the other parts of life.
I'd appreciate any and all advice so much,
