I've been accepted into a grad program that starts next fall. The program is two years and I won't be able to work as the coursework is rigorous, clinical rotations require travel to different states, and I will be a full-time student and single mom. The total cost of the program is $87,000. I don't have much in savings. I have already completed my FAFSA and I am working on applying for scholarships currently. I'm planning on reaching out to the financial aid office for the school next week for some more insight as well. I have started looking into grad plus loans, but I know I'm going to need more than the $20,500. Has anyone who has been in the similar boat provide some insight on what you've done/how you've handled it? Did you apply for private loans? Clearly I'm a bit lost. Thanks for any info!

Is it just me or has the audio over time not only had its ups or downs, but not only that it also has only gotten quieter over time? Like every new audio update i swear the game gets slightly quieter, my windows audio is at 100 like usual and i have DT 990’s, its even quieter when i plug in my old hyperX headset (i tested it to make sure i wasnt insane/ my headset wasn’t breaking) and it was still horrible. The audio sounds good at times now, its just that sounds like reloading, footsteps, etc that were wayyy easier to hear previously are worse. And before people say its the headset update, it started happening long before the headset update and it isnt specifically just those things. Gunfire, characters speaking, scavs yelling, general audio is atrociously quiet.

I have a cannon rebel t7 and I love it but it really isn’t good at capturing anything except with flash. It can capture other pictures but not really. the settings are hard to work with. definitely a good training camera but it’s time for me to upgrade. i want something i can carry around everywhere and can take good crisp pictures. something like a working festival camera. that takes pictures of movement / in the dark / light places without bugging out

Seeking advice for new OLED gaming monitor Im seeking advice on the two monitors above. I recently upgraded from my 2070SUPER and bought a new pre-built 4080SUPER and want to really enjoy everything it can offer in the way of gaming.
I have around $400 credit towards the Alienware 34, of which a lot of my research has indicated that model is the best rated, meaning $1100 isn’t too bad (perks of living in New Zealand means everything is drastically more expensive).
I am, however, tempted by the 39 OLED from Lg given its refresh rate and bigger screen. The Lg looks tidier IMO also, but I just cant come to a conclusion. What does everyone think regarding the two options here, or are there any others I should consider?
Side note, i want curved and 34’-40’ is my range for screen sizes so I can feel the cinema of gaming. Open to your opinions!

2024.11.29 01:50 Ok_Specialist_5965 5 weeks break. How do I use it?

I'm 31M. I live in the US on a work visa. I am visiting India for 4-5 weeks.
I have a complete break from everything for the next 5 weeks. I'm in Mumbai, India inside a tiny apartment with my parents. It's a blank slate pretty much. I have no work obligations, or family obligations or social obligations to tend do.
What are some of the things I can do that will really improve my life? Any good habits I could build? How should I spend my time?
P.S. I have a chronic health condition with moderate/severe joint pains. So I'm a little restricted - I can't do moderate exercises on most days, and I can't eat any food from outside. I also don't have any friends in India.
