I’m trying to get blood drawn this week (went yesterday but was too dehydrated) and used lidocaine to hopefully improve my panic response, since the vcug isn’t exactly my only medical trauma. The lidocaine really helped with the pain and I could barely feel the needle. I know that many people have been told that they would be numbed during the vcug and weren’t, but I might have been. I’ve seen almost everyone here say how painful the actual c*theter was, but I remember the soap being much more painful. I’m not sure, but I think it could be a possibility that they numbed me during the cleaning.

('who would've thought that just telling the truth would work on survivor sometimes' - is he basically just conceding defeat here?) caroline (5th) - finally got her long-needed tone but it goes without saying that its too little too late for caroline. she's playing one of the better games on the island but neither the cast nor casual viewers seem to give a shit. i'm not sure why she seems to be the most common target of sierra's jury-bench snides? andy (4th) - got called a f3 goat alongside sue which really hammers in the fact that, despite his cockiness and eagerness to play, he was still the guy that had a meltdown on day 3. explicitly alienated the jury at tribal. his amount of content is starting to stagnate and get repetitive. maybe winning teeny (3rd) - cooldown episode for teeny off of the back of a fantastic background package that every single person on r slash survivor has seemingly just completely forgot about, because now teeny is the 'mean girl' of the island. i've never seen a casual viewer perception on a character be warped to such extremes before and like i legitmately do not even know what to think about it. they really did not get any prominent negativity at all so im not sure why people are latching onto the scene where she refused to listen to genevieve who has burnt her numerous times already. they were omitted from the 'listing of goats' and whilst teeny's level of strategic agency is practically minimal this is exactly how they would go about editing a winner like that. genevieve (2nd) - not sure where people are getting the negative tone from; she's very clearly mixed to me. genevieve has this brilliant complex narrative of seperating emotions from gameplay, and the only comparative narrative in terms of pure depth would be from andy or maybe teeny. she got given the sad emotional music during her first confessional of the episode. her music cues are also consistently interesting and tailor-fit. did get negative villain-esque spv but it is constantly contrasted by her complexity. she is coming back for 50. probably winning rachel (1st) - largely circumstantial (again) but still mostly good. got more positive spv. can't seem to get genevieve out yet for some reason. is she getting too gamebotty? its getting to the point where she's the resounding winner's choice for casuals, but she's not exactly the most popular character because there's just not a lot to her other than her game and her relationship with andy, which is in a perpetual cycle of being undermined and subsequently praised. shes 1st because, well, who else would be. kind of not super indepth but im willing to discuss further in the comments! thanks for reading. submitted by xittyy to Edgic [link] [comments] |

 | I used to do clamshells but recently switched to just using silicone molds and these bags to try to be at least a little more eco-friendly. Do you guys have any suggestions on packaging? My partner made a good point that they are not as safe as they would be in a clamshell and they can break easily. I have looked into getting kraft bag/boxes but they are quite expensive. Just know that you absolutely are capable of this and you are not stupid. I know it’s really easy to feel like an idiot studying for this test and it can become really seriously discouraging, but trust me when I say your hard work WILL pay off.
I was questioning everything thinking I’d wasted months of my life and money on this test. I went in on test day and felt I had no clue how I’d done. All I could do was pray. But I ended up exceeding my target and I realized it hadn’t been for nothing.
So many times I thought I was an idiot and that if only I had X little advantage. If only I’d done philosophy undergrad, been a little smarter, had a better tutor, more time, whatever. But at the end of the day, if you put that god damned work in you get that result out. You can absolutely do this, and this test is not your master; you are its.

Hi everyone. As the title suggests. I’ll be doing 25 days of contiki ( European quest) where I’ll be visiting France, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany and Netherlands in 25 days then Portugal for 3 days to attend Afronation. I’ve got 4 days left in Europe.
I’m aware the contiki bit sounds like a lot in such a short time but that’s kinda the point.
I’m coming from Australia and would like to stay within the Schengen zone.
Also there’ll be a lot of partying throughout my whole trip so a nice calm location would be good before going home.

Greetings people, I wanted to ask if any of you have suffered from some of these symptoms after an operation for varicocele and hydrocele, it turns out that 5 months ago I had surgery for bilateral varicocele and bilateral hydrocele.
The doctors told me that after 2 months I would no longer have pain and it turns out that I am still having pain after 5 months.
I have one testicle larger than the other and I had a Doppler and testicular ultrasound in which it came out fine, I have no leaks or hydrocele, my operation in a few words was successful given the ultrasound examination
But the problem is the constant pain every day in my testicles, which is already daily agony for me.
My urologist prescribed injected vitamin B12 and Ibuprofen + thiocolchicoside and that only relieved me in that period of time. After finishing the treatment the pain returned again.
I would like to know if any of you have had this happen to you and tell me how you have been able to solve it.
I am 45 years old, I only have hypertension that is controlled, I am an active smoker. I weigh 80kg and am 5'7 tall.
