2024.11.30 01:50 RemarkableKiwi7542 Bmw e90 weird transmission issues
I have an 2011 bmw 328 .. throwing the codes 56C5 ( shift valve B stuck in off position ) and 5CBF ( clutch gears 1,2,3 and 4 neutral test ).. absolutely driving me crazy - it cause the transmission malfunction notification.
Sometimes when shifting from Park to drive it takes several moments for the car to go into gear. And even when it goes into gear the transmission malfunction light pops up and it goes into limp mode where I can't drive too fast and it doesn't shift the gear.
I actually went out with my code reader and cleared the codes in the car took off and start driving okay but the codes came back eventually and the same thing is happening... Transmission fluid and filter is already been changed
Please any input will help.

I'm going to be honest, the guy is me, I have no idea what I want for christmas, people keep asking me and the most I can tell them is "I don't know yet", I like experimenting with and jailbreaking tech, I bought the iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit, and, as much as I absolutely LOVE it, I get no use out of it apart from taking apart some stuff and putting them back together.
I've had my eyes on the Business toolkit from them, but, I've changed my mind on that since I barely use my Pro Tech Toolkit, the second thing I had my eyes on was the Flipper Zero, before changing my mind on that as I would get no use out of it. I've been looking at some keyboards, as I like coding, and, I want to switch up my keyboard, and thats my current leading thing I'm looking at right now.
Any suggestions?

i have a ford focus, it has a sports mode and the shift has a plus and minus button.
my friend who works on cars told me that it’s for when i put the car into the “sports” mode, it’s supposed to shifts the gears.
i’m not too sure how to use it tho and if i could get an explanation that would help a lot, my friend couldn’t tell me much because he drives manual and hasn’t worked with an automatic car like that.

So i tested positive for covid on November 5th . ( I got put on paxlovid and steroids ) I had typical flu like symptoms. Fatigue, cough congestion night sweats nausea body aches and shortness of breath. Over the next two weeks my shortness of breath got worse and my heart rate was between 120-140 just walking and doing simple things. It was so hard to go to work. Now my congestion is back and I have a sore throat and extreme fatigue. I sleep good but still wake up feeling like I could sleep another day. Could I be dealing with long covid? What are some things that could help?
