I'm registered for CSA in 4 hours but there's a storm in my area and public transport is being shut down. The exam center is not picking up phone calls, is there a possibility I can get my exam moved to another date? Or is it too late? The link from registration email takes me to Help section but I don't see any option to mail or call for help other than FAQs. Pls help.

So i was hanging out with my family and wat hing my nephew with my parents and their grandson/ my nephew who is only 5. on the way home he asks me if boys can marry boys and if girls can marry girls. I of course tell him yes boys can marry boys and girls can marry girls. We'll my parents tell him I'm wrong and that boys can't marry boys and girls can't marry girls. That only boys can marry girls. And they tell me he's too young to know that and don't confuse him. I get they don't want him to be gay but don't lie to him. And don't tell him I'm a liar. Was I in the wrong by telling him the truth? Or is it my parents who are wrong ?

Looks like 3M VBH needs 72 hours to get 60+% adhesion at 50 degrees.
Currently cold where I live (32 degrees F) and have no garage to warm up the vehicle.

Longtime tiki admirer, but never really took the plunge until the last few days. Been slinging home drinks for awhile, but always avoided tiki due to the (misunderstood) complexity, amount of ingredients, etc etc. Well, it’s cold in the Midwest and I would rather be tropical these days, so I picked up a few bottles to finally give this a whirl (literally, in a blender) at home. I’m afraid I won’t be able to go back from here.
Forgive the glassware, currently don’t own any tiki mugs and thought the wife would chuckle or be baffled over the concoction in this cup; a deviation from our norms, for sure.
As for the specs: 1.5 oz Appleton 8 Year 0.5 oz Smith and Cross 4 oz pineapple juice 1 oz coconut cream 1 oz fresh OJ 0.5 oz fresh lime juice Nutmeg garnish
Flash blended with whatever two handfuls of ice amounts to. Delightful, at least to our novice palates, even if the picture doesn’t do it justice.
Also shout out to u/mixeddrinkmixtape for their recipe as a launch point and tunes for this.
Any and all advice as a tiki newcomer is welcome!

Tenho meus 22 anos, recém-habilitado, emprego fixo e atualmente ando para cima e para baixo de bike. Preciso de uma motoca pra ir ao trabalho e faculdade, mais ou menos 15~20km por dia. Dividia casa com uns amigos, mas decidi voltar pra casa de mãe para realizar o sonho de comprar uma moto e me ajudar com toda essa situação de locomoção. Atualmente ganho R$2.000 e a FZ-25 abs nova onde moro está por R$28.500, mesmo sendo a moto dos meus sonhos, as parcelas (em 36x) de um emprestimo de banco 2.2 am fica por mais ou menos R$1.200. Não tenho praticamente nada salvo e estava pensando em pegar esse emprestimo e só ir.
A minha dúvida é: Apenas pegar uma moto mais tranquila e mais econômica como uma CG 160 ou uma FZ-15, me contentar e esperar um futuro onde eu consiga pagar mais tranquilamente uma moto melhor ou afundo o pé na jaca e comprometo mais de 50% da minha renda em nome de um sonho?

I had a short situationship with a guy (less than 2 months) and ended it early summer because I got too attached and he moved away. Now, months later, he’s texted me a couple of times, like “Hope you had a good summer” and recently, “Hope you had a good Thanksgiving.”
I’ve already removed him on Instagram, but I guess he hasn’t noticed. I don’t want to be rude, but I also want to make it clear that I’d prefer not to stay in touch. How can I communicate this in a kind but firm way?
TL;DR: Ended a brief situationship early summer. Now he occasionally texts me, and I want to politely let him know I’m not interested in staying in touch.

My partner and I recently moved into a new place and decided to part with our bedframe because it didn't fit into the new bedroom. We offered the bedframe to our friend who has mentioned liking it multiple times in the past. They wanted it so we coordinated a plan to give it to them. Since the start, I feel I was very clear that I was only giving them our old bedframe and NOT my mattress.
I had this mattress for years, its nice, and is the most comfortable I've ever slept on. I did not want to part with it. I communicated this multiple times throughout the process.
In the days leading up to the move, my friend starts saying that their current mattress won't fit the bedframe we're giving them and saying that they want to swap -- we give them the old bedframe and our mattress in exchange for their current mattress and bedframe. I told them no, I don't want their bed. My plan was to keep my mattress and get a newer bedframe for it.
My friend and my partner were both acting like I was being ridiculous and sensitive about it. My partner didn't care about the trade, they felt like it would be easier on our friend to do it that way. I think if it was so complicated for them then they should say no to taking the bedframe, which we could sell or give away on Facebook marketplace. Or they could purchase their own mattress that fits the frame.
The day of the big move comes. We pack up the uhaul with our stuff and go to drop off the bedframe at our friends. I was so frustrated and feeling done after a day of moving that I caved. I gave them my mattress along with the frame.
Now we have their old bed. It's a thin, hard Ikea mattress that takes up the majority of our new bedroom it's so big. I haven't been able to get comfortable on it at all and have been sleeping terrible. Maybe it sounds ridiculous but I'm so pissed about it.
I'm not in a financial position to get a nice new mattress like the one I had. I could get a cheaper one that's at least the right size to fit our space? Or maybe get a cheap mattress and offer it to our friend requesting to get the old one back? My partner apologized for not taking my side after seeing the genuine distress this situation has caused me, and apologized for not listening to my NO, but also said they're leaving it between my friend and I to figure out.
Should I ask for it back outright, with nothing to offer in return? If I take it back it means renting a whole other uhaul for this situation, is it even worth it at that point?

Juilliana Villafuerte, also known as the ‘Flatline Queen,’ has recently become active on TikTok again, and the negative comments from some people are just so strange. Is it really part of our culture to keep criticizing matters that have already been addressed, turning even the smallest things she does into an issue? Come on, we’re better than this. I’m not defending her or something, but having this mindset—where you hold someone’s past mistakes against them, actively look for faults in everything they do, or try to make yourself seem better than that person—doesn’t make you a standard to look up to. Honestly, it’s so jologs.
In one of her recent videos, she shared that she didn’t take the November 2024 PNLE and explained her reasons. Some people commented, ‘Ay, hindi na banned? Sayang,’ and what’s funny is that these remarks are coming from individuals who didn’t even take medical field courses. It’s ironic how some people find joy in others’ misfortunes and use them as fuel for their own satisfaction.
Apart from being nakakatakot magkamali sa Pilipinas where people are all perfect, they just do things like bashing because they think it’ll become a hit, especially if the issue is still fresh. Squammy ng mga people talaga.
