ive been wondering if it would be possible to transfer from bmcc to ucla to earn my phd in nursing. bmcc only has 2 year nursing courses which is something that has been worrying me considering the fact that ucla requires you to transfer to the school in junior year in the spring. do any of you know if its in any way possible for me to still be able to transfer to the ucla nursing phd program from bmcc? also to give some background, i was homeschooled but got perfect scores regarding my ged and i have high academic scores and i am very involved in extra curriculars etc. please any advice would help regarding this issue

so i’ve worked here for little over a year now and it was the same last year i put in a schedule change and told them i cannot that late even when we close at 9:30 they keep us till 11 sometimes ! no one has came to me about my schedule change so i called today and the assistant manager was talking to me like a child (she does this with everyone but she was rude and no help) so i call the store manager and she is so rude i start crying on the phone ! she asks me if i would to this if i was a school teacher and that i need someone to cover my shifts and im asking her if she can meet me in the middle and that im a hard worker and i don’t call out like that and just have problems in general and it was like she was trying to get me to quit over the phone the way they were talking to me was nuts and idk what to do about it other than talk to HR but i feel like that is so not okay to do i was crying all day just bc i didn’t stick up for myself this company is literally the worst i guess it’s time for goodbye…

Was in the army from 2008-2012. Deployed to Afghanistan 2010. I just filed 2 claims through a VA group, had my appointment with a doc that filled out the DBQ’s and the group submitted my claim. I filed for ptsd(combat related)and back pain secondary to an IED. I’ve been diagnosed with PTSD and have a paper trail of treatment for my back. The VA claim has all the records regarding combat,(CMB,AAM, etc) And also my civilian medical records
My Claim was submitted and I’ve been in step 3 (evidence gathering) for 2 months. I understand that is not a long time in regards to others claims, however this is my first time. They have all the evidence, so I guess I expected this to go quicker. Has anyone had any experience related to combat disability claims? I’ve been out for 12 years, so in the grand scheme of things waiting a few more months is not a big deal. Just curious on time frames, not sure what other evidence they need to gather when I sent it all.

I’m due May 16th and my aunt who’s throwing the baby shower for me is planning on doing it mid-April. I am just so worried that I might go into labor early and that 4 weeks from my due date isn’t enough time to get everything done. I want some opinions on when you think the appropriate time for a shower would be? How can I convince my aunt to do it earlier? It’s honestly stressing me out and I wish I was just planning it myself.
