What a full scale national service (NS) might look like. Since PLKN will begin in less than a year, i've been wondering what will it look like if the government somehow began implementing a full fledge conscription scheme. This is my take.
All Malaysian citizens and PR both male and female on their 18th birthday will be required to be registered for drafting. Men have to serve for 2 years while women will serve for 1 year 5 months. Those furthering their studies can postpone their enlistment until they finished their studies by which time they have to serve maximum 2 years after their studies ended.
Their deployment will be decided based on their BMI test. The most fit will be deployed to the armed battalion corp or the Royal Malay Regiment while the least fit will be sent to support and logistics corp. Conscripts can be also deployed to the RMN or RMAF depending on their fitness test and their school stream. All first years will be subject to basic military training (BMT) before training in their specialized fields. Monthly allowances for conscripts will be RM300 per month per trainee. Each training term is 8 months with 2 breaks lasting five weeks. Leave is also afforded for Hari Raya, CNY, Gawai, Kaamatan and Deepavalli for a maximum of 5 days. If Malaysia is involved in conflict or war, conscripts will be deployed to the main battlefront for combat operation
Once they finish their service, they will receive the rank of corporal or sergeant depending on their performance. They can have the option to stay in the armed forces and advance to officer level. However, all conscripts will be required for call up for a one week military training refresher course once a year until the age of 40.
To prevent dodging, job applications for graduates and the civil service will require proof of military service. Draft dodgers will also be penalized and a jaillable offense as national service is mandatory.

I’m still fairly new to flying. Today during the pre-flight checks, as I was drawing some fuel out, a gust of wind blew some of it all over my hand. I quickly went and washed my hands and soap and water.
I know that fuel is obviously poisonous, especially with the lead content. However I’m just wondering if accidentally getting it on your skin is a fairly routine occurrence among GA pilots? How concerned should I be about spilling some on my hands during a future check?

My console is hooked up to Ethernet, my download speeds are supposed to be in the 450mbps range according to the network speeds test, yet my game download won’t go above 15mbps, and frequently stops altogether. I usually reach over 150 using just WiFi. Any suggestions for how to fix this? I have no clue what’s going on or why a game that should take ten minutes to download is taking 6 hours.

Has anyone ever experienced a new flare after (seemingly) remission? I started spironolactone 100mg, clinamycin lotion, & benzoyl peroxide roughly 2 years ago after being dx’d with stage 1 HS. I stopped the clindamycin lotion after a few months once everything went away, and since then I’ve enjoyed being mostly bump-free. However, suddenly around 3 months ago I started flaring again, and it seems to now be back and worse than ever :( I think it happened because I started running and all the sweat and friction irritated things, but I haven’t gone running in over a month now and it’s still really bad. I’m waiting to hear back to see when I can get in with my doctors office, but I’m so upset because I thought I was done with this. Is there any hope for going back into being flare-free…?
