Hello! I'm coming back to FL after quite a long hiatus (started a new character but still have my old one) and I was browsing The Echo Bazaar when I saw/remembered that as well as "Buy," you can "Reserve" an item. What does that mean? The Bazaar never runs out of stock, to my knowledge, so it's not making sure they hold stock for you to buy, surely? Does it auto-buy the item when you have enough to pay for it? Is it just like a bookmark system and I can see my reservations somewhere? I did a little Googling but couldn't find an answer. Thank you for your time :)

So from what I understand having a domain requires two things: 1 creating a barrier powerful barrier to hold your technique, and 2 filling that barrier with your technique So are some techniques more difficult/ impossible to make a domain with as they cannot fill the space as easily as other ones, this might also apply to open domains cause sukunas technique is just cut so his open domain is just cut everywhere, am I right about that?

Does anyone know the reason the RMX always goes out of time for DJ’s? It’s been a constant issue I see happening. It’s like it doesn’t quantize properly. If they use it quick it won’t be as prominent but if there’s a long snare roll held it always without failure goes out of time. I know this could be user error but with the amount of times I’ve heard it happen it now has me questioning if it’s an issue with the device itself.
Have noticed this with Mau P, Cloonee in a lot of their sets for context.

I'm 38F and been with him (41M) for nearly 7 years, it's definitely been a rocky relationship where we have broken up and gotten back together countless time due to communication and attachment issues (on my end). Yet through it all, I never doubted his love for me. I had a rough childhood, went through periods of neglect and grew up feeling unwanted and a burden to my family. He comes from a large family that is close knit and full of traditions. So he knows with 100% certainty that he wants children, and I was always CF before meeting him. He challenges me, pushes me, believes in me and knows me more than anyone else in my life. He loves me and wants nothing more than to have a family with me. Yet I always thought of kids as burdens and sacrifices - I don't want to lose control of my own body, my entire identity, and my freedom. I worry about the possibility of having special needs kids who are wholly dependent on me and the possibility of taking of them when I'm 80 and unable to ever retire. I worry about what it means to raise kids in a world of social media, of school shootings, in a country that feels like it's on a cusp of collapse and a world of unstable and volatile climate. These fears paralyze me and I finally ended it with him today. We have been talking about maybe trying for kids in the next year or so, and I realized that I have been feeling so anxious and scared that I was picking fights with him and pushing him away. I felt like I was living under a guillotine, that I was losing time and freedom and I kept thinking about all places I want to travel to and things I want to do. I feel like I have been twisting myself into this pretzel, trying to convince myself that I do want a family with him because I was scared of losing him and being alone. I finally admit to myself that if he wasn't in my life, then I will still be 100% CF, that all this confusion is because I was scared of losing him.
But now that I broke up with him, I'm still confused . I can't stop wondering if I made the wrong decision. If being CF (alone or with someone else eventually) with all my freedom is truly better than having children with him. I never had warm and loving family like his, and while his family tried to include me, I always kept myself at a distance from them. Now I wonder why I didn't try hard to connect with them, that maybe starting new traditions with my own little family with him isn't the worst thing ever.
I'm driving myself thinking about all this. I feel awful about breaking his heart, about wasting his time for so long. And I can't stop thinking that maybe I made a mistake.

Hey there just wondering how many current gen systems people own. If you own multiple systems, how do you justify it or decide which console gets your precious time/money. Personally I have a decent PC, PS5, XSX, Steam Deck, PSVR2 and Quest 3S. It’s an extreme luxury to have access to so many great libraries of games but at times I find myself conflicted as to where I should be investing my time and hard earned cash to play games. Just thought this would be an interesting discussion and would like to get other peoples opinions!

2025.01.18 01:51 Maabbaam I'm bothered that Shadows still uses the exact same UI as Origins
Maybe its just me but the biggest tell I'm playing a different game is the difference in the UI. It was difficult for me to separate Odyseey and Origins because it both used the same UI. It felt like I was playing an expansion pack rather than a new game because of the style. All Valhalla did was change the font which is incredible lazy.
All past Ac games always change the UI. But ever since Origins they've resued the same one. Even Mirage the game that wasnt an RPG resued the same the UI which was dissapointing.
I know this UI works and its very minor thing to care about and doesnt affect gameplay. However considering reading UI is what we are seeing 100% of the time we are playing it already creates the feeling that all Ubisoft games are the same. Something that Ubisoft really should change.
It would have been really cool if they created a font/UI inspired by Japanese writing,

Has anyone had to replace the thermocouple on an EX6? My unit has never held the setpoint temperature and always overshoots by 50-60 degrees and stays there no matter what the setpoint is. Not much good when you're trying to smoke something and it's that hot. We've replaced a number of other components to try and rectify the issue and this is pretty much the last suggestion Weber has.
Not exactly the easiest replacements based on a couple of read throughs of the manual and there are no videos that I can find on line about it. If anyone has done this, any tips, tricks or traps I should be aware of?

 | Was on my way to work this morning, constantly checking delivery updates for my PC ETB. I’ve been excited for months. Anyway on my way in there was a FedEx truck crashed off the side of the highway. It looked pretty bad. 5 minutes later it dawned on me, holy fuck my Prismatic Evolutions PC ETB could be in that truck… I just recieved the update that it’s been delayed. Kind of a surreal feeling, I drove past my package this morning. There’s been no update on the condition of the driver but I hope they’re okay.  | Is anyone else frequently using the secondary position for every player? Like in this example the SF/PF and the PF/C players increase the overall more than better rated players that play that position.
