I just bought a new motherboard off eBay and RAM off Amazon. I want to upgrade a HP Omen 45L by replacing the default HP motherboard with an ASUS MAXIMUS Z690 HERO and add in new DDR5 RAM. I'm not very experienced with building a PC but I figured it would be relatively straightforward. I put my i9-12900K CPU in the socket and 1 stick of 32GB RAM in the slot, connected the CPU pump to the fan headers, plugged in the 24 pin ATX motherboard cable, plugged the 2 four pin CPU power connectors into one of the 8 pin CPU power connectors and tried to boot. Unfortunately, the motherboard's QCode is 00, which I believe means that the CPU isn't detected/compatible. I've tried resetting the CMOS and flashing the BIOS with the latest version off the website. Nothing. As far as I can tell, there's nothing wrong with the socket, and no bent pins. Is there anything else I should do?

I love small town/acreage living. I enjoy video editing, and level design for games and in games. I really do enjoy being creative when I can but it's been a minute. -Gaming- I'm a big time gamer looking for co-op partner to explore those vast amazing worlds, or show our toxic sides during a competitive match haha. I play on all platforms[PC/Switch/PS5/Xbox/VR] but my main is xbox, so gigantic + if that's your main platform too.
I play anything and everything, but my favorite kind of games are Horror, Open World Survival, RPGs, Sandbox/Crafting Games, MMOs, Souls/Soulslike/Soulsborne. Some of the games I enjoy playing are Valheim, Warframe, Dragon Quest Games, 7 Days To Die, Stardew, Minecraft, Techtonica, Raft, Lethal Company, Phasmaphobia, Terraria, and much more! My backlog is criminal lol.
-Music- I love listening to everything and anything, I'd love to listen and share music with you. Swap songs, vibe and enjoy each others company.
-TV/Movies/Anime/YouTube- I love anything horror, and even more so when I can watch it with someone! I'm always up for a good comedy or action movie, really anything I'm up for! Some of my favorite TV shows and movies are: Dead Silence, Rush Hour, Supernatural, From, Sons Of Anarchy.
-Hang Out Togther- I really would like someone I can spend a lot of time with. Whether we are in a call, streaming games for one another, or just watching or listening to music together. Having a laugh and enjoying each other's company everyday if we can. Especially at the end of the day when we can wind down together, put on a movie or music or just fall asleep together.
-PSA- I'm not skinny, I'm very average looking, I don't have show muscles, just practical ones from working, I'm not a looker. If visual attraction is important to you, just know I'm probably not the guy for you. I know a lot of this is important so I wanted you to know ahead of time so I don't waste your time and you don't waste mine. 🙂
TLDR: I'm a country/gamenerdy/cat dad, looking for someone who wants to make a genuine connection, wants to spend lots of quality time together, and wants to see a friendship turn into something more, and hopefully start a life together. Hi! It's my first time attending a concert (JayB Tape : Reload). How do I go about this? I'm not from manila so I'm planning to purchase the tickets via SM Tickets.
How do I plan the budget? ayokong ma short kasi sa budget lol. I will be there with my bf for like a day lang talaga, plannig to arrive there March 1 ng gabi concert will be on March 2 and we plan to go home on March 3 ng madaling araw coz we have work pa.

2025.01.18 03:50 dsapntmnt Broken toe or just jammed?
to be brief, I rammed my foot (somehow this is the toe that got injured) into the flat part of a 20lb metal dumbbell on my bedroom floor this morning while getting ready for work. I felt a faint crunch and blood immediately started pooling under the skin at the tip and around my nail bed. It hasn’t been unbearably to walk on but it’s been fairly painful all day. Granted, I work a desk job so I haven’t really been putting a ton of stress on it.
Note: I have a floating toe that sort of crosses over the injured one, that’s why I’m holding it out of the way. Second, my nail is messed up from an infection I got underneath it a bit ago, not slamming my foot.

Or at all unusual/weird? I’ve never been and I’m just not sure how common this is or if they would think it’s weird?
It’s making me think about how I don’t ever have to think about my own race and the effect of that on myself or anyone else when I go somewhere new because I’m white, and like, that precedent is why these salons exist, right? So I guess i’m apprehensive about entering a space like that, like I’m taking away the whole point of it? Would that be the case, or maybe I’m overthinking it or lacking nuance?
If it matters this is why: I like to perm my hair, and it’s actually hard to find salons that still do that, but it seems perms are very common at mostly east asian salons(Korean, Japanese and Chinese mostly) I’ve also read about a specific type of perm I want to try that I can’t find elsewhere. Now I’m thinking, is it weirder to try to avoid going?
Appreciate any advice or insight, thank you!
