What language is this?

I downloaded the language pack for English (United States) and also went to Administrative language settings and changed it to English there as well. After restarting my PC I can see that the change was made but some things are still in Spanish such as the settings section, the start section, the search box on the task bar. Judging from your description, it seems that you can't install the features of the language pack, and you can try the following steps first. 1. Network problems may also cause such problems to occur, try to change a network or replace the wired network connection for download and installation, and then check the installation again. 2. I got a new notebook that came with windows 11 (single language), i'm used to looking up every setting in english, and they're not showing up in windows search as most of the tools have different names in the local language, which is really incovenient. I have changed preferred language in Settings(a widely used method), and it does work generally. However, there are still occasions when my computer displays in Chinese, such as Widgets on my taskbar, and instructions on a bluescreen. In the "Language" section, next to “Enable input tools,” check the box. Click Edit tools. Select the language input tools you want to use. Click Ok. At the bottom of the page, click Save Changes. Open your inbox. In the top right next to Settings , click the language icon. To switch among multiple input tools, click the down arrow . When you're connected, go to Language settings, select the language in the list, select Options, and finish downloading." If I click on "Install", the language is added but completely empty and useless. So I tried to search for language packs but I am still not successful. Enable Language Bar in Settings: 1. Press Windows logo key + I, to open Settings. 2. Click on Devices and select Typing on the left pane. 3. Click on Advanced keyboard settings. 4. Click on Language bar options. 5. Select the checkbox for Show additional Language bar icons in the taskbar and Show text labels on the Language bar. Change Registry ... Find direct download links for various versions of Microsoft Office. Click Language. Note: View by should be Small icon. Click Advance settings in the left pane. Under Override for Windows display language, click Apply language settings to the Welcome screen, system accounts, and new user accounts. On the Administrative tab, under Welcome screen and new user accounts, click the Copy settings button. 2025.01.18 07:56 HighMeerkat Car rear ended by local bus. Have owner's number, suspect being taken for a ride.

So yesterday around 4pm, at the Medical Trust junction a green bus hit my car in the rear and broke right side lights. The bus stopped and staff said we'll give you owner's number, he will do what's necessary. They take photo of the broken light and send it to him. After a while he calls me, the bus has left and I am also on my way, since I had to do something urgent. The owner asks for details, location, how much it will cost etc. In the meantime I had called up my car service center and asked price of replacement.. they said 1800Rs plus labour. I gave the owner the same price. He called again after a while asking to confirm which side it was. I felt like he was going to arrange the part himself. He calls again after a while saying he will arrange everything tomorrow, don't worry etc. No calls today, so I call him. He says he is at the police station with another 'vallikettu' and said he will call later. I am a very non-confrontational person, suspect he is taking it lightly. Should I wait or just go to a Police station?

Our beautiful boy has been with us since he was 8 weeks old and is now about 8.5 years old.
In 2023 we had tests for his puking and it was mentioned that there were some gallbladder issues but no other reason found. He likes to eat grass, lick our plates and eat things he shouldn't. We tried to mitigate this as much as we can.
Fast forward to this week. He pukes more, didn't eat ans hides in the corner so we took him to the vet. They ran some tests and he has kost iver 1.5kg and has jaundice. £250. Were referred to a overnight hospital, where he ate and was on a drip and incubated. £550. Was given scans in the morning £1200.
We were told he has gallstones that are stuck in a small tube, caaed by immflatation but could bw worse like cancer, causing the bile to go into his system. They said a surgery us possible but they cannot do it as it needs a specialist. We were told to take him home and back to the vet for blood tests to see if there is improvement through antibiotics abd steroids after 24h.
Went back for blood tests. The medicine hasn't worked. £290. They say to put him back to the hospital over the weekend but there can be a ruptured gallbladder anytime and it's a tike bombm each night would be £500-£1000.
Or get a specialist surgeon that is 1h drive away for an estimate of £10k see and unknown after treatment, costs and a 50/50 success rate or less. He hates car rides, gets really stressed in the car and is in a poor condition already. We hate the idea of him passing away on the table, or alone so far away surrounded by strangers.
Our insurance cover will run out in the middle. Sp fsr everything had to be paid upfront snd I don't trust insurance to not try and avoid payouts. We won't afford follow ups even if they cover ehat is happening now.
We have a child in the family and a camcer situation going on.
We asked to repeat the steroids and antibiotics treatment with 10% chance it can improve or less. Wä We sre preparing to need to put him to sleep. We don't want him in pain.
We have had desth in the family just last week.
We are all so done snd don't know how to cope and how do we lose our little cat who has been woth us through 3 house moves and in our everyday life.

over the past couple months, ive been trying to get good at a few things, and I remember now that getting good at things is super frustrating, and i feel like everyone around me watching me thinks im stupid
let me give an example. about a year ago, i signed up for my high schools wrestling team. it was the first sport i ever played in my entire K-12 school life, and it was absolutely terrible. i fell flat on my ass numerous times, and no matter how many practices i showed up to (it ran twice a week), i NEVER got good at it, even among other people who were inexperienced in the sport. it felt super demoralizing and i eventually quit after crying in front of an entire stadium at a tournament. mind you, i didnt want to be the best out of anyone, i just wanted to be the guy that wasnt categorically the worst person on the team. my feelings of self-hatred and inadequacy when it came to learning new things were essentially carved in to my psyche from that day forward, and only became more prevalent as i continued to be bad at things i tried to be good at. these feelings only sprung back up recently as i tried to gain new skills.
of course, id consider myself pretty good at some stuff, nothing crazy impressive or anything, but just decent among people who also practice that thing. fighting games and music are good examples. but im also just really bad at a lot of stuff i really want to be good at?????? its miserable.
how do autistic people actually learn stuff, and how could i use that to stop being so bad at everything?

I know mods don't allow political stuff but I'll hope they'll bare with me this one time, this post isn't even meant to be political but just a rant to the things I'll have to bear from time to time
Living in Gujarat i learned a long time ago that if you're eating meat you'll have to be secretive about it in public. I couldn't take anything non vegetarian to my school tiffins because ofcourse it's looked frowned upon.
And frankly, it's not even a big deal. The main deal is the association of this vegetarian diet with casteism.
"Only those people eat meat, they'll even eat buffalo" some of the kids didn't really know i was from the very caste they were talking about. It's not my faul I've been lucky to born in this lineage is it?
Have you ever tried getting a place for rent or buying a house? When my mother and father were out looking for houses they found this very pretty apartments that were just getting made. Guess what the builder said?
"Hum aapke logo ghar nahi dene wale idhar" it's funny how in a free country, it's okay to refuse people from buying a house just because they don't belong to the "top" castes. I know people don't believe such things. But you do believe the veg tenants only and bachelors having a hard time finding out homes without batting an eye.
I just want to live freely, as in. Not being told i won't be able to buy house in this society or area because it can only be occupied by certain people. I don't want people to think I'm unpure just because i eat meat. I don't want to hear "i couldn't believe you're from those castes you're so smart"
I just want to feel normal.
