Hi everyone. I will explain a DMT experience I had but first I want to say some stuff about my view on DMT.
Personally, I am a person that really values logic, I don’t think there’s anything religious or spiritual or “of higher form” to this molecule of DMT and I think it’s just the highly complex function of the brain that causes such a bizarre experience. I mean even sobriety is pretty crazy considering we are seeing, listening and living all this that we are. Nevertheless, this doesn’t mean that the trip isn’t fucking insane and even though I’m trying to be logical to explain some stuff about it, I feel like there is a certain extend to which I can talk with sense and after that it’s just speculation and theories.
The experience consisted of 3 different smoking sessions with doses getting higher each time to manage the fear and anxiety of going into the experience which I have every time but goes away with the afterglow of the previous dose. The interesting part happens on the 2nd and 3rd sess.
1st sess: I do a few hits of the machine and lie down. The dose wasn’t that big but enough to put me in a zen state after and in a different mindset than sober me to think about life and things in a different way, which I really enjoy. After about half an hour of thinking and chilling in afterglow state I decided to step up and do a bigger session.
2nd sess: I take an even bigger dose and lie down on my couch. Some friends had left my house about an hour prior to this and I lied down in a spot that my friend was sitting on and it had his body odor. I smelled his odor in the middle of tripping hard and instantly I looked around to see if he was there. I couldn’t see him near me but I was sure he was there with me. (Now I’ll start some speculations) I felt like he wasn’t there with me in the physical form (obviously) but everything that represents him in my mind, the feeling and the vibe that I get from him was there with me so he was there as well. And it wasn’t just his presence that was weird, it was the fact that his “identity” aka the things that make him the person he is in my mind and my identity where all blurred together meaning that in the trip I was him in a sort of way. The process of the brain that is there to indicate to my consciousness that “this guy is your friend and he is present” was working and my identity was weak so they kind of got tangled together. It was a very bizarre but beautiful thing to experience
3rd sess: I did my first time biggest dose I’ve done ever but coughed with my mouth closed and 2 huge clouds went out through my nose. I guess I didn’t get the full effect of the dose but it was still massive for me. In this trip, the same thing happened but because of the quantity of the dose I lost my “rational thought” and my thoughts in my mind were going like a ping pong ball. I remember it being hard to focus on something. I tried to focus on my breathing because I stopped breathing for some secs then on the experience but there was also a small panick and then my mind went kinda quiet. I started experiencing the same thing because the smell of my friend was there but this time i wasn’t so aware that I was in a trip. My consciousness was completely detached from me and my awareness of tripping at that moment was weak, I didn’t know what was happening and that made it a completely crazy feeling. It was scary for a few moments and I had this funny thought that out of all the people that I could have turned into I turned into my friend?
As the effect was coming down and I was processing things and gaining “rational thought” back, I had a long time coming down which must have meant that I did dose high. At that moment I felt this liberating feeling of compassion. I saw people less as “people” and more as entities of their own mind and their own experiences characterising them. I thought of a person in my life who behaved in ways that I didn’t like out of her anxiety and it kind of settled in with me. I “felt” it more clearly. Everyone is living in their own little mind and can’t comprehend the mind of other people. Even the labels we use of wrong or good or bad are inherently subjective due to the nature of reality when trying to explain or understand one another. This is all takeaway from philosophy but the DMT made it more clear and it was beautiful. Imma take a break from it for now and come back after a long time to do more and perhaps have another introspection on life like this.

My grandparents had bed bugs. My grandma passed so my aunt (grandma sister) has asked to move in with me. I ask her if all her stuff was cleaned. She assured me she is clean. I allowed her into my home on January 7th. 3 days ago she confessed a bed bug bit her. So, we got rid of the spare bed upstairs and the couch in her room. There isn't anything much upstairs now but I'm freaking out. I'm a bit upset but I know it isn't her fault. I'm keeping an eye out on our bedding. She cleaned the floors upstairs and bought a new cot to sleep on. We got rid of all the carpets in the house too and she recleaned her clothing. I have 2 children in my house too and I regret moving her in sometimes. I don't want to overreact but I also want to ensure my house doesn't get infested too. I keep examining everything and haven't seen it myself yet. Any advice on how to prevent this from getting bad? I was thinking of calling an exterminator.

I'm working on customizing a second-hand CH pedals just for helicopters. I’ve taken out the springs to disable the return-to-center and I’d like to physically disable the toe brakes too.
