I recently became interested in superdeterminism and wanted to learn more about it. Initially, I thought superdeterminism was a "realist" theory. However, I recently read that Sabine Hossenfelder describes herself as "non-realist."
"I have also repeatedly encountered physicists who either praise superdeterminism as a realist interpretation of quantum mechanics or criticize it for the same reason. As someone who is not a realist, I am offended by both positions. Superdeterminism is an approach to scientific modeling. We use it to describe observations (or at least we try to). Whether or not you believe in an objective 'reality' that truly is this way or another is irrelevant to the model's scientific success."
I’m still confused. Does she deny the existence of objective reality? To me, superdeterminism seems incompatible with an anti-realist perspective. Can anyone help me clarify this?

2025.01.18 09:53 Wyllowdaemon Things that help when I don't want to shower.
I know people struggle with this, me too at times, thought some of these tips might help.
- Using a shampoo brush / scrubber. It literally feels like someone at a salon is nicely massaging your help. Plus it makes good suds so if you go awhile it will at least be very clean.
- Nice shower gels, lotions, scrubs. Set it out like a "treat" or a spa. Get a fluffy robe. Shower steamers. Anything to make this as relaxing as possible.
- If it's dental care, switch it up...I got through 2 weeks of not wanting to use toothpaste by using a "Red Velvet Cake" flavored toothpaste. I didn't want to brush my teeth, but I love Red Velvet Cake so it made it tolerable.

Since my abilities, I had severe psychic attacks which I’ve just gotten in control of recently due to practising shielding consistently.
During this time, I feel I’ve lost my connection with spirit, spiritual experiences, hesitant on astral projecting etc. because of my psychic attacks I become scared and blocked off and have tried to distract myself from spirituality etc. because of this. I feel my casual chakra is blocked (which someone channeled from here), which makes sense considering the loss of connection to higher realms/my guides which was very strong before due to the blockage/attacks from entities. I feel it cut me off
I don’t want to live in fear.. but I do want to go about this in the right way. I don’t have the connection I did before, and I want that back
What can I do to reconnect with my guides, my spirituality, astral projecting etc. after this?
Is there anything extra I could also do on top of this for more protection? I’m

My heart keeps saying cat, maybe I'll get some good clg if I keep maintaining a good cgpa and profile and score amazing (99.2+) in cat.
But my mind keeps saying no, you are dusted for cat. Better just prepare for gate and do Mtech instead of MBA. I am really confused.
The prospect of Mba to me is really fascinating. I like engineering too but not so much that i am willing to do mtech.

Today was my first day back at work. My manager was sick with apparent fp* on Sunday/Monday of this week (Jan 12/13) and called out of work sick on Monday. She came back to work on Tuesday and has been working since. I washed my hands constantly at work, wore a mask (as I do anyways), bleached my phone when I got home, showered, and washed my hands a bunch. Am I okay? I can’t stop questioning everything. In my mind, if she came back to work on Tuesday, wouldn’t she have infected others if it was noro? Ugh. She also said none of her family got it, which is comforting, but I still feel utterly terrified.

Hi so 12 weeks in on my TRT and I think I am a hyper responder. Total T is 1877 and my E2 is 133.
I have a meeting with my doctor and have a feeling he is going to lower my dose and also recommend a AI.
I hear people shouldn’t take and AI bit curious as to why and what the best option is to reduce my E2.
I am in 160mg weekly in two doses and would like to start HCG or enclo for shrinkage.
Will reducing my dosage do the trick I have not felt great at all on this?
